PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

I received a Bachelor degree in design from UMass Amherst in 1990. I later worked for a structural engineering firm in Virginia for 5 years. In 1998 I received a masters degree in architecture from UVA. I worked as an architect for several years in Boston before moving to Paris in 2005. I have since worked on the design development for 3 high-rise office buildings throughout Europe. I am now the project architect and designer of a 48-storey office tower in La Defense (just outside of Paris) that is to be completed in 2013.
I have been suspicious of how the 3 buildings collapsed since watching them fall live on TV. My doubts about the alleged causes of the collapses have only increased the more I am involved in actual tower design.

I have been performing commissioning services for the mechanical systems of large buildings for a little over a year. I received my B.S in mechanical engineering from the University of Maryland this past Winter where my focus was on energy production.
The amount of energy nessasary to remove the mass of concrete/steal below the points of impact of buildings #1 and #2 (as proven by the free fall acceleration shown in any video), and to cause the complete symmetrical disintegration of building #7, is simply an order of magnitude away from the available force of gravity alone. Also, because the direction of the force of gravity is directed downward toward the mass of the structure below it, it would not be possible for any of the 3 buildings to fall without resistance (which would be shown in videos as a rate of acceleration far less than that of gravity). Large pieces of debris were expelled football field lengths away (an outward force would be required). The fires are irrelevant because they are an asymmetrical force on the structures while videos clearly show a symmetrical collapse. There is also physical evidence of both the byproducts of explosives, and non-detonated explosives, found in the debris. The material found possess, in a large enough quantities, the amount of energy needed to cause buildings to collapse at the same speed as that of mass which has no resistance between itself and the earth. Numerous eye witness accounts report secondary explosives. It is simply, without a doubt, impossible that gravity alone caused the destruction witnessed and there is evidence to support an alternative view. A new investigation is needed to include the repeatable and proven physical laws that we have come to accept as truth.

I've documented many buildings, their operations and have, over the years, asked many people, who are building engineers, about the events of 9/11. I have studied building destruction, for visual effects reasons, and have found that the way the buildings' collapse just doesn't make any real sense. There is something behind all of this that doesn't add up. Too many holes in the 9/11 commission report. After all I've been reading, listening, and viewing, I can only agree that there was evident sounds of explosions, and that the presence of nanothermite has been revealed. The 3 buildings fell in such a way that they could not have been collapsed without explosive demolition. Militarized nanothermite has been discovered in the dust gathered on that day which can only have come from a sophisticated military-type lab, such as Livermore or Sandia. The famous documentary by the French brothers features a firefighter on that day saying he discovered many body parts, feet and legs, on the roof of the Marriott Hotel. That roof is at least 500 feet from the WTC site; these remains can only have gotten there by being blown from an explosion. The Towers fell straight down into their own footprints at free-fall speed. All this and more necessitates explosive demolition. And that necessitates weeks of preparation, which in turn means the alleged hijackers cannot have been responsible.

After viewing the photos and information you presented it is quite plain to see how these buildings fell. Why the cover up is so blatant is beyond belief. If only to give closure to the many families who have not been able to bury and say goodbye to their loved ones should be enough to reopen this investigation.

I always wondered why Building Seven collapsed and how, and found it odd that it was not hit by a plane yet collapsed in the manner it did. The fact that Building Seven held, from what I have heard, a lot of highly sensitive government paperwork, it all seems a little too coincidental to me. It is my belief that this investigation needs to be reopened and I feel my government has let me down if they refuse to follow up on the new evidence.

Am a former student of Douglas College where I attended two semesters for the dispensing optician program. I was on my way to completing my first year, before unforeseen circumstances intervened to complicate this process, and forced me to withdraw. I am considering reapplying to pick up my career aspirations where I left off.
The collapse of all three WTCs is totally inconsistent with a fire induced progressive collapse. For one, no steel framed structure in history has ever collapsed primarily due to fire. For another, progressive collapse has never afflicted any fully complete building. In addition, there is the fact that the Twin Towers collapsed at roughly 2/3rds of free fall acceleration, which means that the lower foundations offered very little resistance to the 'upper block' which was supposedly crushing them down! The NIST investigation into WTC 7 was completely fraudulent. Among a few of the many deceptions strung throughout their report was the undisclosed fact that they lied about the fire temperatures, thermal expansion of concrete, thermal conductivity of steel, removed sheer studs, and added combustible fuel loads on floors where the initial failures took place in their model. In addition, they ignored a staggering number of NFPA 921 protocols regarding the analysis of fire and explosion incidents.
