PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

Other work I have performed (coincidentally around the time of the9/11 attacks) used Ion Mobility Spectrometry (IMS) in a support role for the US Coast Guard R&D Center in Groton, CT ( a three hour drive from ground zero) in the determination of trace quantities (nanogram) of drugs and explosives. On 9/08/01 I was sent to USMC Camp LeJeune, NC, making any attempt to use our equipment immediately following the collapse impossible.
The video footage of the three WTC buildings, as well as the Pentagon and Flight 93 wreckage, offers clear evidence that does not appear to have factored greatly into the official story, especially WTC building 7. The lack of significant analytical forensic evidence in the 9/11 commission report leads me to believe that it was inadequate, and a new, congressionally appointed committee should be established.

The only conclusion I can reach from building 7 is that the conspirators want to be remembered for their chutzpah, or have the superiors caught, tried and punished. - - - - There are many theories about 9/11 which led to the invasion of Iraq and much of the conspiracy discussion is tainted by wild speculation. My take is more like that of a seasoned investigator. The first question to ask is, Who benefited from the crime? The resulting answers seem likely to stand the test of time. No commercial airplane (or military) could possible bring down one of the twin towers. Any such aircraft would be shredded by the collision, not poke its nose out the other side. Further, there would be aircraft parts everywhere if it had been aircraft that impacted the towers. The impacting vehicle had to have been something more along the lines of a bunker buster cruise missile, which would also not bring down the building. Also, even the best pilots in the B-1 test program would have a tough time hitting the towers at that speed. Again, the precision needed could be realized using a cruise missile.

If it were high temperature and weight alone, the twin towers sections above the plane impact would most likely have toppled to the side and not straight down on their footprint. And then for both to follow in exactly the same way, it had to be controlled. Then there was 7 WTC, it was not impacted and yet it also collapsed into its own footprint, that had to be a controlled demolition. There needs to be an independent investigation to find the Truth and prosecute those responsible.

My reasoning is based on the undeniable appearance of any number of squibs, the vertical collapses, the pulverization of structure and building contents, impossible to achieve via structural failure, the speed of the collapse, the production of and weeks-long persistence of molten steel impossible to produce in an open burn, the inexplicable failure of the core columns and of the welded and bolted two way floor trusses,The failure of the steel frame core trusses. the total failure of fire protection (My partner in MMG was Ret. Navy Commander William Scott, PE, former president of national Asbestos Association, I believe until 1989 or 90) the pyroclastic discharge, the photos of heat-cut stubs of massive columns with molten metal running down them, some steel members perfectly distorted into semi-circles, the multi ton steel beams and column pieces stuck into nearby buildings, performance of the tower in the 1975 fire, the statements of any number of highly credible engineers and physicists, the statements of credible eye witnesses including many public safety personnel, the rush to remove evidence, the lack of any real investigation, the 911 commission report... i believe that any one of these things would indicate a need for unbiased investigation to ascertain the truth of the matter. I don't know the truth of the matter, but I strongly support an in depth investigation. Thank you.

"Building 2, the second building hit and the first to ""collapse"" was hit two thirds of the way up. It breaks off at the impact point and a photo shows it leaning over at 20 degrees. The pile driver effect is gone at that point. The top third of the building is no longer pressing down on the bottom two thirds. No load = no buckling. Imagine a tree in the woods being struck by lightning two thirds of the way up. The top third breaks off and falls over. Then, starting at the top of the remaining ""stump"" which is two thirds the height of the original tree, a wave of destruction starts and goes down at near freefall, spewing out wood chips and sawdust. Where did all this this energy come from?"

I gained employment in a small architects practice when I was 19 years old. Both of the Trade Towers, and Building 7, clearly appear to have undergone free-fall acceleration (mapped from their rooftops or antenna spires) when they collapsed; this certainly could be bogus but by Occam's Razor it can't be bogus until completely investigated. The investigation at the time was utterly botched within hours -- when do you overnight ship the evidence of one of the most egregious mass murders in 20th century history, off to China for recycling? When evidence is destroyed, it doesn't smell like a cover-up, it IS by definition a cover-up.

I have stated, consistently, throughout my professional career, that math will never lie to you. In the case of the 9/11 disaster, both the 9/11 Commission report on Buildings 1 & 2, and the NIST report on Building 7 require me to ignore the math in order to believe the official theories and conclusions. I first became aware of the official story being in doubt by a friend of mine who kept sending me information about it. I deleted each attempt. Then he sent me something on BLDG. 7 collapsing on 9/11. I never heard of that! I opened it and have been one of the biggest voices in my area to get an honest investigation on disseminating the truth about 9/11.

It is impressive to see so many architects an engineers signing this petition. Do you have a number how many architects an engineers there are in the whole USA? Do you have more than 5% of these? That would really convince me!
