PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

Isaac Newton has made the only statement that should be needed to justify an independent investigation into 9/11. Ironically, this same statement made by Newton, which would later become Three Laws, guided civilization without fault for over 300 years until 9/11. These Laws faulted on that day not because of an error in Newton's calculations, but because civilization chose to ignore them. I cannot, however, as to do so would be to brazenly disregard the physics on which our society is built. The government's explanation and public's currently held view regarding the collapse of WTC 1, 2, and 7 does not fully take into account Newton's Three Laws of Motion. In every other aspect of our profession, Architects and Engineers have a civic duty to use these Laws to keep the public safe. 9/11 should be no exception.

Frankly...what I saw didn't convince me of any nefarious actions. - - - - I never did quite understand how the building's collapsed completely within it's footprint....instead of tipping over. That always puzzled me greatly. I, like most of America, bought the pablum that they fed us.....it was the fires from the planes that melted the support columns. The fire proofing was either missing from the columns (as they were in the process of retrofitting this at the time of the collapse) or it was knocked off from the impact of the jets. - - - - I read many items on these theories...including a book called 102 Minutes, which pretty much settled my curiosity about any doubts I had. However, I'm not a scientist, or structural engineer so I just accepted what was said....but always had a kernel of doubt still in my mind. - - - - So I hear Richard Gage on KGO, San Francisco this morning and BECAUSE of his expertise and his eloquent explanation about the forensic facts and basic science disproving the story we were given....I sat up and took notice. I think many people are afraid to voice their doubts for fear of sounding like a nut....but when science enters into the facts...I think people will listen. I did.

My first love was Architecture, and had hours of training and certificates for Mechanical Drawing and CAD from the 1980s, as well as training and certificates for Audio Engineering and Studio Maintenance, and worked since High School in Pro Sound and Audio Visual industries. My first undergraduate program of study was Architecture in the mid-1980s with the University of West Virginia, but switched to Drafting with Carver Career Center in Charleston. Ironically, my first two areas of intense personal study were outrigger skyscrapers (WTC Towers) and underground construction (Bunkers). As I recall, the history of the term pancake goes back to the 1940s or 1950s in relation to SEISMIC studies of the performance of concrete and reinforced concrete buildings and was a descriptive term of the visible RESULT of collapses, NOT a MODE OF FAILURE. I knew then that the first explanation was pure propaganda, not scientific inquiry, and likely originated from some uninformed military source, not an educated civilian expert; especially since the means of destruction were different between the Towers and Building 7. The two WTC Towers were controlled explosions and WTC 7 was a classic implosion. In short, the evidence at hand convinced me that WTC 7 was a defacto standard controlled demolition, but that the towers were experimental silo demolitions; the most damning evidence being that the second tower struck was the first to fall in less than an hour. These [outrigger] skyscrapers are built to share the load between their cores and external frames, and any mode of total failure or progressive collapse begins with destroying both the core and frame on more than one side of either tower, and had the catalyst been any combination of plane crashes and office fires exclusively it would have taken several days to sufficiently weaken the towers (we know it wasn't plane crashes alone since the towers absorbed the crash inertias and redistributed their structural loads). Instead it was mere minutes. Some type of explosives and accelerants must have been used to account for the additional energies needed to trigger and to MAINTAIN the silo type collapses of the WTC towers. Lastly, it's funny how investigators who are Architects or Engineers are derided as not being Demolition Experts, but Demolition Experts with civilian or military experience are dismissed as not being Engineering or Architectural Ph.D.s (among internet message board discussions and other venues). The red-herring being that it assumed that the real perpetrators would have had to have had extensive knowledge of both fields to pull off these demolitions; the reality being that the 19 alleged hijackers had neither. Two planes, three different collapses. A child can do that math.

I'm not a structural engineer, but I know enough to know that we're not getting the whole story here. The way that the buildings collapsed certainly looked like a controlled demolition. How is it that the buildings fell at free-fall acceleration and straight down, doing virtually no damage to any surrounding buildings (especially building 7, which wasn't even hit by anything)?

I have recently become turned on to the events of 9 11 because of the documentary loose change, and it has given me a entire new perspective on the attacks that day. And it seems as though something fishy is going on and i want to stop this at all costs.
The whole entire evidence that is portrayed, squibs coming out the sides a huge circle on the underside of the plane, the towers fell as if explosives were in them. Thermite was found in the dust, it doesnt take that much more to prove.

When I first saw the video of each Tower collapse in identical ways, as a layman I thought, They must be made of tooth-picks or match sticks. But now it occurs to me, if they were made of tooth-picks, the Towers would have toppled over when the planes hit them. Although I do not pretend to have engineering or scientific expertise I have, for years, closely followed the arguments for and against the official explanation for the collapse of the Twin Towers and Building 7. Based on appearances alone, the manner in which these buildings neatly collapsed into their own footprints looks much more like controlled demolition than what you would expect from an uncoordinated breaking or failure of various random support structures. Looking only at the available engineering and scientific evidence, it is hard not to agree that the evidence is indeed much more compatible with a controlled demolition model than a random failure model. I would like to see a commission of professional engineers and architects openly study, discuss, debate, and propose an explanation of why these buildings fell that is more consistent with the known facts.

I am just a layman in this matter but also a free thinker. Somethings I don't want to believe, but when credible evidence is presented to me, I will not look at it with a blind eye.
A lot of this statement is from knowledge I acquired by watching AE911 Blueprint for Truth and Loose Change. I also believe what I see. And by that I mean the Towers collapsing at free fall speed into their own footprint. There was enough scientific evidence presented in those programs to make me believe that another investigation needs to be done. I had a few semesters of engineering before changing to pharmacy. I am a registered pharmacist, now working as a liquor store clerk and I know how much work it would take to grind up one cubic centimeter of concrete in a mortar and pestle, although I have never tried it.
I don't believe that the airplane collisions, affecting only a few floors could cause the pulverization of almost all of the concrete and the dismemberment of almost all of the steel structure of the entire buildings, or the melting of steel girders.

I'm glad that architects and engineers stand behind the American people, because your arguments can't be called nonsense or conspiracy theories. Even if a fire would have been able to make collapse a few floors, it's not possible that the Towers collapsed in this speed and that a fire would have created the tons of dust or heavy parts of the Twin Towers being catapulted into other buildings.

And I fear that we have been brainwashed into a mental state of fear that makes us willing to trade our constitutional rights to liberty for a false sense of security. I also agree with Benjamin Franklin; author, who would trade their liberty for security deserve neither. Hopefully full disclosure of the true facts will awaken and arouse enough of us to action, that we can re-secret our democracy and rescue our nation from those who covertly endeavor to usurp total power and institute a neofeudal state run by corporations.
After examining extensive investigative reports by independent groups of qualified professionals over the years, am convinced that there has been a cover up of what really happened to the WTC Towers. Consequently, we have acquiesced to an unprecedented and dangerous erosion of civil liberties, along with an ominous drift toward a military police state. Uncovering the true facts will hopefully awaken a sleeping and apathetic populace to the dangers facing our freedoms.

When I got the phone call from my mom on 9/11/01, telling me about the planes crashing into the World Trade Center and the Pentagon, I immediately turned on the TV to see what the news had to say about it. I was horrified to see the truth of it there on the screen, but then was completely shocked when the Towers fell. I had enough education and intelligence by that time to truly believe that the bulk of those buildings would continue to support themselves despite the destruction of the upper stories. So I clearly remember being surprised and dumbfounded when I saw the Towers collapse to the ground. But I quickly forgot my initial shocked surprise over that detail in my heart-felt concern for all those living and working in NYC whose lives had already been affected by the tragedy I was witnessing from the other side of the continent. I found myself desperately praying for the safety of as many as could possibly be saved, and for the families of those who could not.

Apart from all speculations about the collapse of the Twin Towers, for me WTC 7 proved that 9-11 was an inside job. Larry Silverstein spoke about 'pulling the building' and thats what we saw happening with WTC 7 at the end of the day. Prepping controlled demolition of such a building takes at least 4 weeks. The majority of architects, engineers and demo experts in the world will tell the same story. The American people needs to hear the truth coming from independant parties, transparent assessments and those resonsible for 9-11 and for the useless aftermath in Iraq and Afghanistan should be punished, ev en if they were the President of the USA. I was 11 when it happened. So there was a lot of things that I didn't understand that time. But later I started to be curious and ask questions, how it was possible to do something like that according to official statements. I've watched a lot of documentary films about what happened, and it's just impossible that it fell because of a fire. A lot of friends of mine are studying architecture and engineering, building.. and no one agreed with the official statement presented for public. It's sad that it was 11 years ago and there is still no official uncompromised investigation.

I do not have any formal training in architecture, or anything of that nature. i am though an educated, well read American who seeks to know the truth of what really happened on that fateful day. Once I found all of this information that was out there, questioning the validity of what our government told us; it led me to keep digging into as much information about what the truth may be.

All I want is a full investigation into what really caused those buildings to come down the way they did. You don't have to be an architect to realize that something else occurred within all of those buildings to bring them down in free fall. When you take that into consideration, with all of the other missing pieces to the Pentagon; such as no plane left to identify, no bodies found and of course no videos to show an airline jet actually hit the Pentagon; it is then obvious that we are not being told the truth. The truth is out there and we as Americans in a free country need to demand the truth, especially for all of those innocent people who lost their lives that day and for the families that were left behind.

I am studying to be a high school science and special education teacher. I was 10 years old when the twin towers were hit. I remember the patriot act was only supposed to last 3 years. We are still at war to this day and the patriot act is still in effect. Now we use drone killings, without consequence killing hundreds of innocent people. these drone killings have created much hatred toward America. The military is handed a blank check, our additional debt has increased from 8 trillion to 16 trillion in a span of a decade.
9/11 has contributed to a military industrial complex as warned by Roosevelt. Our civil liberties have been taken away. Since 9/11 the house has passed bills, that declare the united states a war zone, meaning that under the patriot act, United states citizens can be executed, torchered , imprisoned, or held indefinatly without due trial. Empirical evidence provided by a colaborative group of international scientists find that a nano-inciderary compound called thermate, noting that it was evident at the 9/11 site. eye witness accounts claim hearing explosions, why were there fragments of body parts and bone found on the top of buildings, why was the fire after the disaster still burning two months after the event, the evidence proves, explosives were used. why are there 10,000 engineers that want to re open the investigation, why was the metal from building 7 sent to China 2 weeks after investigation. iron can not melt from jet fuel in an arid environmental, so why was there melted iron found on the site. The Federal governments investigation dose not look for explosive evidence because they said it was inprobable, but from an engineering and scientific standpiont it is the only probable cause of the mass distruciton of the towers, including builiding 7.

Even if the jet fuel had been some kind of instant-acting acid, how many gallons were there on the plane? How fast could any such liquid have traveled, and therefore how much of the building could it have consumed? How long would it have taken to reach the ground, eating through each floor?
