On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

The planes did not cause the collapse of the buildings; explosives did. The WTC buildings collapsed in a way very similar to a building rigged for controlled demolition. The official story did not adequately explain the explosions that many witnessed and heard at ground zero; the government even tried to deny it. There are just too many coincidences of events leading up to 9/11, starting with planes not intercepted to military personnel playing war games. It's not hard to see that those responsible are amongst those who benefited the most from this tragedy, including but not limited to big oil and private reconstruction contractors.

I have lived, for the past nine years, with the events of 9/11 haunting me nearly everyday. What started out as anger and what I then thought of as patriotism, has now turned into guilt, fear, and unrelenting anxiety. Starving for the truth as to what exactly happened that day... and what's continued to happen from that point on. In the Fall of 2001, I was only 18 years old. The college that I was attending was located less than a mile away from an airport. When news struck of what was going on in NYC and at the Pentagon, we were immediately dismissed (evacuated) from class with instructions to get away from the school/airport area. As a friend of mine and myself made the terrifying one hour trip back to our home town, we listened to the radio in a desperate grasp for what was happening. Ironically enough... Howard Stern was giving the most detailed account of what was going on in NYC that day. Our minds were filled with thoughts of more attacks, war, and even being selected for the draft. Thankfully, neither of us ended up fighting in Iraq. Life slowly went back to normal, that is, until more and more evidence started to come about of a possibly conspiracy within our government being involved in the attacks of September 11th. Now, as a parent, I strongly fear for my 7 month old daughters future. In my mind, I feel that things can only become more distorted and volatile in our nation. Feeling there is no end in sight, to the hypocrisy and deceit that plagues our country. Tired of being misinformed by the media as well as the people who run the United States of America... I now search for help, information, and guidance. I would also like to offer my assistance in spreading the word about the need for real answers regarding the historic events of September 11th, 2001. I have a very good understanding of how buildings are constructed and how they behave under the influence of outside forces. Most buildings are constructed with redundancies so that they don't collapse catastrophically.
It is virtually impossible for WTC building 7 to collapse as it did with the influence of sporadic fires. This collapse HAD to be planned. For the twin towers, it seems odd that both buildings came down the exact same way. Also, someone made a comment the buildings were designed to implode downward. For me more information is needed here because I don't design high rise structures but it would seem odd that engineers would design in a buildings destruction. That's why explosives are used.

The last year and a half of my time there I worked in a student research position for the Operator Performance Laboratory. I found the squib charges in WTC 7 to be irrefuatble evidence of controlled demolition. The implications, while disturbing, reveal more than ever a country without the ideals of Thomas Jefferson, and Benjaimin Franklin. I do think that an un-biased and thorough investigation of the collapse needs to be performed and taking into account all the evidence that has come to light by all of the various sources. While I would like my name to remain on your petition, I recommend for your own credibility and that of all of our names that less convincing and ambiguous aspects be eliminated from your arguments along with discussions of motive. I think consideration needs to be given to many possibilities as non-controlled collapses are nearly completely outside of human experience; whether architect, engineer, or even building demolition expert, none of us have an expectation of how forces at this scale and in these condition should behave. After spending a fair amount of web time investigating myself, I have seen a lot of real amateurish conspiracy mongers that are giving your cause a really bad name. While I believe your spokesman is the most credible I have seen, by keeping your arguments scientific and non-emotional you elevate your own position and improve chances for the end goal, a complete investigation into the collapses.

I am a Master Plumber and A State Licensed Plumbing contractor. For six years I dealt exclusively with structural steel and ASTM steel specifications as an Outside Machinist.
I find it impossible to believe that the buildings ever got hot enough to implode into their own footprints. It would take temperatures three times that amount to destroy the bearing members and gussets that held that building up. More than anything, no other building in the world ever collapsed from a fire. Also, not seeing any blueprints of that building, I am going to assume with great confidence that there are multiple chilled waterlines 3 in diameter and greater which would have expelled great amounts of water when the lines were broken. Were the pumps and the water supply shut down that day?

The most damning thing about the official position of the United States Government is the complete lack of interest in open and hones discussion of this topic. No satisfactory explanation exists for how three buildings collapsed at near free falll speed. I remember footage on British TV showing building implosions. I still remember my initial feeling while watching the obliteration of the Towers. I recalled how similar the footage was. Many years of structural design and construction in the aircraft, gas and oil industry, and residential buildings.
The twin towers, WTC North and South, were constructed in 3 separate systems independent of each other. These were the center spine or columns in which the elevator shafts were housed, the outer columns functioning similar to buttresses and used to support the outer weight of each floor and to hang the windows on, then each floor that was suspended, independently of each other, from the center columns and the outer columns. Suspicions arose immediately with me upon the collapse of both Towers in this respect. All that basically happened is that the additional weight of a 757 was added to the structures at different levels. I use the word levels because I again became immediately suspicious of reports referencing floors. Obviously the 80th floor could not support the 81st floor on top of it, but this is not what happened. We all know that the floors were suspended from the center columns. Well the center columns at 7:30 a.m. on 9/11 were holding everything up above it very well. Again, all that happened is that the weight of a 757 was added to the building and in this case the center columns were more than capable of supporting the additional weight. Instead of using the word floors we need to speak in terms of height or level at which the aircraft struck the building. There was no damage to the steel columns at the foundation of the buildings or at the first, second, third levels etc. up to the point of impact. Another suspicion is that the two Towers were struck at different levels, yet both collapsed in exactly the same manner. This is impossible. If the additional weight of a 757 was enough to collapse the Towers, why did this not happen as soon the aircraft penetrated the structures. Again, any fire damage at the 82nd level would not have buckled the 70th level, or the 50th, or the 79th etc. or weakened the center columns at those levels.

It is so obvious these buildings have been brought down in a controlled demolition. That's what I assumed the morning of September 11th, 2001 as I watched the news coverage from the beginning, everyone stating explosion, second explosion. I have spent several hours learning the science behind demolition by watching many documentaries including Explosive Evidence Experts Speak Out, and I am ENTIRELY CONVINCED the WTC buildings were brought down by controlled demolition as unquestionable evidence PROVES IT. The media, as well as the government agencies appointed to investigate this tragedy, has covered up witness testimony and many, many other accounts and evidence. All the action the government has taken in the Middle East, all the men and women in the military who have lost their lives over this is now in question. WE MUST REINVESTIGATE!!

I too believe the investigation was very poorly conducted. From the destruction of evidence (the actual Towers being shipped out for recycling), UN-heard of at any level of a criminal investigation. To the very lack of cooperation or obstruction to gathering the facts by elected officials. Furthermore, if you know how joists and floors are connected the Towers would have so much resistance under the impact zone that it was more plausible that the zone above the impact zone would fall over. For the whole structure to implode as it did, well, I'll leave that to the experts, opinion only - with my background in construction, impossible.
