PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

The almost perfect vertical collapse of the 3 buildings seems to indicate the use of explosives at the ground level. Any partial shear or buckling of the columns at the point of impact would have likely caused the superstructures to lean over and fall out of the footprint of the buildings. However this theory as valid as it looks leaves a question mark as to how could it be possible to set up a large complicity that has not been neither discovered nor even suspected.

I have a BSME. I have designed aircraft structures and steel stadium structures. I'm also a pilot with an instrument rating, and I've built an experimental aircraft. I have performed FEA analysis throughout my career and I understand structures very well.
I absolutely knew the second I watched the videos of these buildings falling that it had to have been done using explosives, the way they intentionally take down buildings. It requires immense preparation, planning and care to make a building fall straight down and not damage surrounding structures. The likelihood of a building falling that perfectly through any other means is essentially impossible. It is preposterous to suggest that these building fell from the aircraft strikes and the fires that resulted. I am very glad to see that something is being done to try to shed light on this.

I was shocked when I saw WTC #1&2 collapse at near freefall acceleration, and I knew immediately that explosives had to have been used to remove the resistance of the concrete and steel BELOW the area where the planes hit.Then when I saw WTC #7 fall at free fall acceleration, I knew that there was a big problem with the official story. I am grateful that I am an engineer and have an analytical mind. Something queer remains, the mystery about the incident remains. An investigation was done but it did not answer some of the critical questions. My final year project is about steel design. The official explanation of the the 9/11 WTC tower collapses does not answer many technical questions. Why did the towers hit by planes collapse? Why did WTC 7 collapse without being hit by a plane? Why did the towers collapse as if a planned explosive demolition was executed? How did temperatures inside the building reach levels that could melt steel? Why was the majority of material pulverized? A thorough, 3rd party investigation is needed.

WTC7 didn't fall by three burning armchairs. No significant debris ever to be seen at the Pentagon. Two planes flying around without control through the worlds most secured airspace without authorities taking them down. BBC reporting about a fallen WTC7 before it fell. There is no further evidence required, that this whole story was a plot. There is only more evidence required, for whom to hang for it.

WTC7 fell out of sympathy. NIST failed to apply appropriate boundary conditions for the framing system in their model. Given the limited heat, presence of fireproofing, a catastrophic symmetrical failure with near free fall acceleration is physically impossible.

Having a building collapse exactly the same way, 110 stories on top of each other, not once, but twice is like winning the lotto, twice, at the same machine, the same day. The probability of this happening is 2^220. In engineering, this is referred to as Controlled Demolition. If you look closely at the video footage, explosions occur on each floor before they collapse. I don't blame the public for believing the media, only few are equipped with the right set of skills to understand the behavior of material under stresses. Very sad to see a government deceive its people in this horrible way.

The official explanation of the collapse of the twin towers and building 7 overlooks key evidence that absolutely should be incorporated into the investigation. The fact that building 7, with limited office fires in a relatively small portion of the building, collapsed instantaneously and symmetrically at the acceleration of gravity with almost no resistance at all from the concrete and steel below is alone bizarre enough to warrant further investigation. The investigation should be about truth and nothing else.

In review of the findings of the NIST Report and other independent investigations, and reviews concerning the failure of buildings in the 911 attack, there is sufficient reason to believe that the NIST Report is either incomplete or incorrect. As a matter of public safety, credibility and completeness of findings, an independent and Engineering study should be performed to either verify or correct the NIST findings.

I do site development work as a consultant and I'm a PhD in construction productivity. I have a minor in Chemistry, BS in Construction Management, BS in Civil Engineering, MS in Civil Engineering, and a PhD in Civil Engineering.
I'm not a structural engineer, but I know enough to know that we're not getting the whole story here. The way that the buildings collapsed certainly looked like a controlled demolition. How is it that the buildings fell at free-fall acceleration and straight down, doing virtually no damage to any surrounding buildings (especially building 7, which wasn't even hit by anything)?

Trained as Demolition Engineer in Army, I have 56 years of experience in engineering around the world.
When I was watching the events I said to my wife that the tower collapses were controlled demolitions and certainly not caused by possible plane impact. I have never changed from this belief.

The official government evaluations seem inconsistent with everything we know about the failure modes of concrete and steel high-rise structures. It seems unlikely in the extreme that the trade center buildings were all brought down by airplane impacts.

A solitary jetliner aircraft impact and ensuing jet fuel induced fire, in and of itself, would never cause the collapse of a skyscraper in the manner in which both towers fell. The photographic, video, and forensic evidence strongly contradicts the official explanation put forth in the 911 Commission report.

America deserves the truth. America deserves transparency in everything surrounding this tragedy. The government needs to declassify and release all documentation, and explain how one of the largest militaries (and associated intelligence communities) in the world was caught unawares and in a state of unpreparedness.

I completely agree with Richard Gage with regards to the destruction of the world trade towers. Those towers couldn't have come down as the result of office fires.
