To the Members of the House of Representatives and of the Senate of the United States of America,
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

Other work I have performed (coincidentally around the time of the9/11 attacks) used Ion Mobility Spectrometry (IMS) in a support role for the US Coast Guard R&D Center in Groton, CT ( a three hour drive from ground zero) in the determination of trace quantities (nanogram) of drugs and explosives. On 9/08/01 I was sent to USMC Camp LeJeune, NC, making any attempt to use our equipment immediately following the collapse impossible.
The video footage of the three WTC buildings, as well as the Pentagon and Flight 93 wreckage, offers clear evidence that does not appear to have factored greatly into the official story, especially WTC building 7. The lack of significant analytical forensic evidence in the 9/11 commission report leads me to believe that it was inadequate, and a new, congressionally appointed committee should be established.

I watched on TV live the TT falling and thought to myself during the collapse that - this building doesn't fall this way. I had enough experience even at that time with steel moment frames to realize that they don't pancake from the top down, especially if the assumed failure (the planes heat) point in a 1/3 of the way down. The only way for a building to fall like the TT is if it was a masonry type structure and the upper columns failed first from a heavy roof load. Well, it's not. - - In my opinion IF the heat was sufficient enough to melt the steel at the planes location, the frame would have buckled and the top part of the building would have toppled over. Of course causing damage to the lower part of the structure but not a pancake collapse. Plus - both towers collapsing in the exact same symmetrical pattern - no way.! Also, what about building #7 collapsing the same way when nothing touched it!. Or where is the plane debris a the Pentagon.? - - These building were brought down by design. - - In looking at the impact over time I think the intent was to implement the HomeLand Department, the patriot act and instill a new culture of fear and control.

I've been suspicious about the WTC destruction since day one, when it was obvious that the buildings collapsed within the free fall time span. Even though it may not be easy to see at first glance, it becomes quite obvious that the official story we have been told by the mainstream media about the nature of the collapses is a lie, once you look behind the curtain of mainstream media reports. ae911truth comprehensibly summarizes pretty much all scientific aspects of the truth, so I just want to focus on a few specific features of the collapses. There are major indications why all 3 buildings - the 2 trade centers and building 7 - could not have collapsed the way we were told by the official sources: - Unresisted, near free fall speed of all three buildings - Symmetric nature of all collapses - Pulverization of almost the entire building with a complete disintegration of the inner steel core structure Many trustworthy sources indicate that it is highly questionable if the fires had the capacity at all to weaken the central steel structure in the affected sections of the buildings. Let us still assume that the claim of the fires to have weakened the steel structure around the fires, which initiated the collapse, is correct and that a pancaking of the floors occurred as a result. For the following reasons this theory cannot explain the above mentioned characteristics: - The lower structures of the building, with the strong steel core in the middle, were entirely intact and should have generated SOME KIND of resistance for the falling upper sections. This would have resulted in a significant and measurable delay during the collapse. Yet, free fall speed is only possible if the entire supporting structure is simultaneously destructed. - The structure of the WTCs was such that the different floors were mounted between the outer wall mesh and the steel core. A pancaking of floors would not only have been much slower than free fall speed, but would have resulted in a partially remaining steel core structure, which very likely would have leaned to one side eventually and tilt, rather than simply disint

I love winnowing out the truth of everything that happens and working hard to do it. I exercise when I get a chance to stay in shape and keep the stress off and I am a Christian who loves this country and the freedoms that we are entitled to.
I think the idea that it is too harsh to bring up 9/11 is a huge crock. I was in the USAF and I know what JP4 is and the fact that they just swept away the evidence made me look very closely at the NIST report. I do not think the conclusions of the NIST report come from the evidence and I would expect a real investigation be conducted in the United States of America so the responsible parties can be held accountable.

The evidence is overwhelming that the trade center buildings on 9/11 collapsed from controlled demolition rather than collapsing from the aircraft that hit them. One of the buildings that collapsed wasn't even hit by an aircraft. Anyone looking at the Pentagon pictures shortly after the aircraft hit it on 9/11 would conclude from the lack of aircraft wreckage that an airliner did not hit the Pentagon.

It seems that the when it comes to the collapse of the 3 towers the 9/11 truthers and the 9/11 debunkers are talking about different parts of the collapse. The debunkers focus on the local damage caused by the planes and fires. Their claims of local failure might have some validity but they make no attempt to connect the local failures with the mode of global building failure we all observed. The 9/11 truthers start with the global building failures and work backward to what might have caused it. This seems to me a better approach.

Before 9/11 I had some prior information about the World Trade Center and knew then that they where designed to withstand the impact of a 707. So when I heard it being reported that they weren't designed with passenger aircraft in mind I immediately became suspicious. My first thought was how could they have been so weak? The official explanation, why those buildings collapsed, is enough to make my blood boil. Ive seen a picture of part of the Tower lodged into another building. I'm not sure if its from the plane crash or exploding debris from our new hypothesis which supports controlled demolition.

I am not sure what happened on September 11th but I am positive that there are many questions that could be explained with more integrity than the 911 commission report. I think that there are many very good reasons to question the official explanation for why the three World Trade Center buildings collapsed. I am not an architect or engineer, but it still seems implausible to me that WTC 7 free-fall collapse was due to fire. Watching the footage of this collapse was the first thing that got me interested in investigating the events of 9/11/01. The more I learn, the more I am convinced that more research and investigation is needed.

I grew up in a family that treasured the truth in education, science, and politics. In college, I studied biology, psychology, mathematics, and some basic engineering.
When I saw the buildings collapse on 9/11, I questioned how three buildings could have fallen so easily. I witnessed Building 7 falling on TV later that day and felt a sick feeling that something wasn't adding up, especially that people were being warned that the building was going to fall when it looked perfectly strong. That it soon fell close to free fall speed and in one neat package seemed utterly unreal, especially since there was no obvious damage. But then the earlier buildings' destruction were also in that way strange, and never before seen. To have three major buildings destroyed on one day and to be so sure that all three were caused by airplanes seemed not only inconsistent but forced. It is sad that anyone who questions the official story is quickly labeled unpatriotic. But there is a spirit of intimidation that prevents many from really examining the facts. The official story is the truth and you must swallow it whole or else. So I applaud the courage of the all the signers of this petition and the organizers of AE911Truth.

I feel the investigation into the 9/11 attacks were highly politically motivated and non scientifically based. The mass destruction of evidence and the denial of testimony of many witnesses lead me to firmly believe the official story of 9/11 is wrong and ought to be reexamined by independent scientists.

It is utterly treasonous that the government of the United States of America has not fully and PROPERLY investigated the events of 9/11. It is clear to me that the official report on the investigation about 9/11 is not scientifically valid. A reason was given which cannot possibly explain the destruction of Building 7, yet causes which could explain it were not investigated? Why not? Those affected by 9/11, which is all the nation, deserve an investigation which uses scientific methods.

I am a 45 year old male, I operate heavy equipment in California and I am deeply concerned about my country.
After all this time has passed since 9/11, I was always told by the American media that planes brought down the Twin Towers and never knew of any other evidence until watching AE for 9/11 truth. Seeing this evidence that was never in the official report raises deep concerns for me. The numerous reports filmed live of witnesses seeing explosions and seeing molten steel and steel buildings falling in demolition style and leaving this evidence out of the 9/11 commission report is inexcusable. My further research brought me to a video of an injured man that escaped the Towers and was trying to tell a reporter about bombs going off in the building and was abruptly stopped by an FBI agent that quickly pulled him away stopping the man from telling his story. I now believe the official story to be false and demand a new investigation.

After watching several documentaries on the 911 building collapses over the past several years, I saw that the media story could not be true. It was a very sad and reluctant realization.
