Following the February 11th disclosure of the sole document entered as evidence at Geoff Campbell’s inquest in 2013, Mr. Campbell’s family yesterday sent a letter to the office of UK Attorney General Suella Braverman in which they bolstered their claim that the first inquest involved an “insufficiency of inquiry” and thus that a new inquest into Mr. Campbell’s death on 9/11 should be ordered.

In a move that is being welcomed by the family of 9/11 victim Geoff Campbell and their barrister Nick Stanage, the West London Coroner’s Court notified the family in a letter last Thursday that it would be making no objection to the family’s pending application for a new inquest into their son’s murder 20 years ago.

Since submitting their application last month for a new inquest into the death of their son on September 11, 2001, the family of Geoff Campbell has been getting their message out through the British media.

Matt Campbell — whose brother Geoff died in the North Tower on 9/11 — and Geoff’s longtime friend Henry Young join host Andy Steele on a momentous day for the Campbell family, who hours earlier submitted a historic application to the UK attorney general seeking a new inquest into Geoff’s death nearly 20 years ago.

For a new inquest to be ordered, the family merely needs to demonstrate that evidence not considered at the first inquest may lead to a different verdict.

The effort by Geoff Campbell’s family to secure a new inquest into his death in the World Trade Center on 9/11 continued to gain traction today when Geoff’s brother Matt was interviewed on BBC Radio Sussex, the Campbells’ local BBC station.

The Daily Mail, with a readership in the millions, published a lengthy and respectful piece yesterday on the family of Geoff Campbell and their soon-to-be-submitted petition for a new inquest into his murder on September 11, 2001.
