PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

I knew almost immediately that the buildings did not, could not, fall as a result of airplane impact and fuel burning. The thing that stood out for me is that there was no precedent of a building completely collapsing as a result of fire. Even if the jet fuel could have weakened the steel beams, the towers would not have fallen straight down into their own footprints. The footage of the buildings collapsing looked too much like controlled demolition.

So any member of NIST who suggested such a possibility would be fired. I'm sympathetic. Those NIST guys needed to feed their families and pay their bills. Accordingly, they told their bosses what the bosses wanted to hear.

' As a former fighter pilot, I regard the failure to intercept the first airliner on 9/11 prior to impact, as one of the worst derelictions of duty in the history of this nation. We routinely scramble fighters 80 to 100 times every year to intercept 'unknowns,' some even turning out to be flocks of birds or radar ghosts. An alert interceptor from FLORIDA could possibly have arrived in time to intercept the first airliner. I'm sure it would have broken the pilot's heart to shoot down an airplane full of people: the inevitability of its flightpath makes the math simple: they were going to die, drop them somewhere that minimizes additional deaths on the ground. An airliner switching off its transponder squawk, turning 180 degrees off course and failing to respond to radio calls, sets off alarms across the entire Eastern seaboard. Don't try to feed me the crap the media was spooning out, that Boeing 767's 'disappeared' from radar. Civil air traffic control routinely informs pilots of flocks of birds, which show up well on low-tech air traffic control radar even though their squawks lack airspeed and altitude telemetry, and NORAD TRACKS SCREWS DROPPED BY ASTRONAUTS IN SPACE. Failing to intercept an aircraft in these circumstances is equivalent to gunners smoking and joking on the deck of your ship watching kamikazes crash into it. That's just the first impact. Recall that at that moment, there were two or three other aircraft 180 degrees off course with transponders and radios off: CONFIRMED HOSTILES FLYING TOWARDS OUR NATION'S CAPITAL. National defense policies adhered to for decades require enough interceptors sitting strip alert 24 / 7 / 365, within striking distance of the world's most heavily defended target in the most powerful nation on earth, to get most of a *squadron* on station in the time available. And instead, several news crews perform the intercept successfully WITH HELICOPTERS; so we can watch on TV while it happens TWO MORE TIMES. Next you have two buildings collapsing symmetrically into their own footprints, in defiance of the laws of physics, after taking hits they were specifically designed to withstand. And then a third, that wasn't hit by anything. After that, we watch while for some 200 days firefighters pump water into the steaming wreckage, to cool down exactly what? YOU CAN'T MELT STEEL WITH KEROSENE, right? Black smoke means low-temperature, oxygen-starved combustion, right? Water from fire sprinklers will not extinguish a petroleum fire, fuel spills absent retardant generally burn until all the fuel is gone, right? Why do you suppose the steel scrap recovered from the debris was shipped off to CHINA as quickly as it could be loaded onto trucks and ships, while even routine analyses was FORBIDDEN, if only in the interest of discovering why this steel failed so remarkably--a failure unprecedented in the history of engineering? As a military man you could not look me in the eye and try to tell me that an operation the size of our invasion of Iraq was possible without planning begun more than a YEAR prior to 9/11. I don't give a damn about any 'conspiracy theories,' theories are not relevant to the dereliction, omissions and obviously preplanned fabrications associated with 9/11.

I have an Architectural Association Part 1 Architecture degree, a mathematics degree and a PhD in Signal and Image Processing, relating to automatic speech recognition. It is obvious from the video evidence, to anyone who is not deliberately deceiving themselves, that WTC 7 was brought down by controlled demolition, which would have taken days to set up. It is also beyond doubt that many explosions also took place both during and before the destruction of the WTC towers, which did not appear to collapse so much as to be blown out in all directions in many stages, with much of the concrete turning to dust before it hit the ground and tons of steel melting and folding in ways which could not happen at temperatures arising from jet duel and office fires. That NIST admits that it did not even look for evidence of explosives, in the face of hundreds of witnesses to the sounds and effectives of explosions, is already more than enough proof that it was not performing its duty to perform a thorough investigation.

The part that makes me saddest is that even though so many Americans have been watching TV shows about CSI (crime scene investigation) and know that standard procedure at a crime scene is that yellow police tape surrounds the crime scene and NO ONE touches any evidence, yet on 9-11 the evidence was removed and destroyed. And the American people who watch CSI shows did not rise up in anger at this blatant violation of standard operating procedure.

All statements of the press were obviously hand fed from the start. As an auto mechanic and welder, I know that the temperatures inside the building were no 15 to 20 thousand degrees as reported. Burning fuel inside a cylinder only reaches about 1200 to 1500 degrees. Steel does not fail at such temperatures, otherwise internal combustion engines would be impossible to operate. Having worked at Windows on the World, I know that 20 to 50 thousand workers do not present themselves in the towers at that hour of the morning as reported by the press. These assertions by the press were repeated across all channels of broadcasting and print, and could only have come from a central propaganda feed.

When i first saw the film/television coverage i was shocked that the structures did not topple over sideways bending at the points of jetliner impact. This is counter-intuitive or antithetical that they would uniformly collapse with asymmetrical impacts. Building 7 collapse in this manner is complete nonsense because it did not have anything close to the magnitude of damage of aircraft impacts.

Recently Pilots For 9/11 Truth have analyzed the speeds reported for the aircraft utilized on 9/11. Numerous aviation experts have voiced their concerns regarding the extremely excessive speeds reported above Maximum Operating for the 757 and 767, particularly, United and American Airlines 757/767. These experts are captains who have actual flight time in all 4 aircraft reportedly used on 9/11. These experts state the speeds are impossible to achieve near sea level in thick air if the aircraft were a standard 757/767 as reported. Combined with the fact the airplane which was reported to strike the south tower of the World Trade Center was also producing high G Loading while turning and pulling out from a dive. The whole issue becomes incomprehensible to fathom how a standard 767 can perform such maneuvers at such intense speeds exceeding Maximum Operating limits of the aircraft. This is so especially for those who research the topic thoroughly and have expertise in aviation.

I am a retired teacher and a seeker of truth. Have been involved in lots of construction projects and scientific theory, structural and behavioral dynamics.
The towers were fully and completely intact from the ground foundations all the way up to the floor below impact. Therefore, even if some gigantic machine had picked up the entire building ABOVE that floor and dropped it down onto the building below, it would NOT have collapsed. That would be physically impossible. It would have damaged it a bunch, yes...and pieces would have broken away and fallen to the sides. The top part might have fallen off to the side, etc. BUT, the building simply would NOT collapse. Building 7 OBVIOUSLY had it's foundational supports at the bottom center blown out, causing the building to collapse within itself. This was clearly a demolition, as stated by the superindtendent when he said It was decided to PULL the building and a news crew reported the building collapse PRIOR to it collapsing!! So, someone told someone it was gonna be pulled prior to it coming down, so that maybe nobody would get hurt.

My original gas volume analysis of twin tower collapse: If the towers collapsed due to structural weakness, the volume of air expelled from them would equal the gross volume of the building minus the volume of solid objects within it. Yet, it is evident from all videos that the volume of gas expelled was instantly many times the volume of the original building. Explosives within the building are the only credible source of this excess gas volume. Also, the speed at which the gas and debris was expelled horizontally from the building was approximately the same for all floors. This is exactly what would be expected if a similar set of explosive charges were detonated on each floor of the building. If the matter was expelled only due to the weight of above floors crushing the lower floors, the gas and dust would have been expelled a short distance at the beginning of the event when the speed of collapse was slow, and a much further distance on the lower floors when the speed of collapse was faster. That was not the case.

I, like many others, didn't really concern myself too much with 9/11 until I discovered the truth about a year ago. I stumbled upon an A&E 9/11 Truth video about thermite that changed my world. After jumping into the research ocean with both feet, I firmly believe that the official explanation of what happened on 9/11 could not possibly be accurate. I believe, from looking at a lot of evidence (special thanks to your website), that all 3 WTC collapses were caused by controlled demolition. I believe the airplanes flown into WTC 1 & 2 were meant to be seen as a powerful enough catalyst to bring on the total collapse of the towers. Although flying an airplane into the side of a building can do some harm, I don't feel the heat or damage would be enough to bring the towers down the way they fell. As far as Building 7 goes, a straight-down, symmetrical collapse at free-fall speed into it's own footprint for no real apparent reason can, in my opinion, only mean one thing; they had the cream-of-the-crop demolition experts at their disposal.

The odds that three steel-frame buildings would collapse at free-fall speed into their own footprints on the same day, after brief, non-engulfing fires burning at temperatures well below those required to significantly weaken steel girders, are astronomically high. The fact that pools of molten metal remained under the WTC complex for weeks afterward (as confirmed by multiple videos, eyewitnesses, Mayor Guiliani, and aerial infrared thermography analyzed by a science team from Bard College), coupled with forensic evidence of molten and sulfidated metal gathered from the scene, strongly supports the theory that high-temperature demolition explosives and cutting agents were used to bring down the Twin Towers and World Trade Center 7.

Buildings such as the Towers were designed to withstand an airplane flying into them. Towers such as this do not collapse in almost free-fall without being demolished, it is part of the engineered design that the base must be strong enough to hold the weight and stresses from above. Engineers ALWAYS over design - just in case! (In case they are sued!!) No structural engineer with an ounce of integrity could possibly say that the 3 WTC buildings were not demolished in a controlled manner. Regarding WTC7, this was a more conventional type of steel framed building and should not under any circumstances have collapsed due to a fire, even if that fire raged throughout the structure. None of the evidence presented by the authorities makes much sense. It needs to be challenged and tested because if 'cold' fires did contribute to the collapse of these structures the designers are in trouble. It would mean that everything we have designed and built in steel and concrete is fatally flawed. We know this is not the case. The world has been lied to - repeatedly, and if you tell the lie often and loud enough, the ignorant public will believe whatever they are told to believe.

How obvious do controlled demolitions have to be?? If you examine the footage of the second planes impact from behind, you can tell as it enters the side of the building that it wasn't a true plane impact -- as the steel beams would have cut off the wings of the plane. The building absorbed what appeared to be a plane. If you stop the footage to the point where the wings have entered the building (and just the tail is sticking out), you will NOT see a hole where supposedly the wings just went through!

I'm an ex United Airlines flight attendant; and I worked out of Boston's Logan Intl Airport the morning of 9/11/01 on a flight that departed one hour prior to Flt 175.
Upon seeing the disappearance of the Towers, my first thought that morning upon emergency landing in Iowa and reviewing the television footage of Ground Zero was Shouldn't that pile be bigger? There did not seem to be enough matter where the Towers stood. What was also curious: Nobody checked the passengers on our flight, nor the crew. Everyone scattered away. Bizarre lack of security. Why wasn't anyone accounted for? Why wasn't the plane detained? We were also a full tank of gas making a transcontinental flight from Boston. Very strange, unless the perpetrators knew how everything was to proceed, for that would explain why they had no extraneous use for our plane, nor even to double-check any potential threat on our plane: Because they KNEW there wasn't one!
