On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

The collapse of the WTC towers on 9/11 was a remarkable and puzzling event. Several aspects of the collapse have yet to be satisfactorily explained: the collapse was extremely rapid (near free fall); the destruction was nearly symmetrical (in spite of highly asymmetric structural damage); the collapse generated significant explosive upwelling pyroclastic-like clouds of pulverized material. The most widely cited explanation is a Progressive Collapse Theory published by Ba'ant and colleagues. This model however has significant weaknesses. It is 1D (hence ignores the WTC towers' excellent capacity for load redistribution); it is not able to explain the highly symmetrical nature of the collapse; nor can it explain the generation of clouds of pulverized concrete and other anomalous aspects of the collapse. In my opinion the hypothesis of controlled demolition needs to be seriously investigated.

WTC building 7`s entire upper half is observed to free fall several floors. I doubt NIST's explanation that simple fires caused a simultaneous collapse of all the static structures and to make the observed building collapse possible. Repeatedly claims of finding nanothermite in the debris could explain some ... I doubt NIST's`explanation on the cause of the WTC 1 and 2 collapses.

In addition to my formal education as an electrical engineer, I worked as a carpenter for a period of time. Otherwise, I've devoted almost all of my life to the study of physics and mathematics. I served our military in the US Army Reserve, 1964-70.
I did not follow any news closely, so the government explanation of a terrorist attack seemed plausible. In 2018, by chance, I watched a YouTube video of the destruction of the towers. It became obvious that there was far more to the event than I realized. With further education, I came to believe that the NIST report and other government sponsored reports were deliberate lies against scientific honesty. To this day, most appalling to me is Paul Bremer, the CEO of a company with more than a hundred employees, located in one of the towers occupying the very floors that one of the planes hit, going on national TV a few hours later to tell the nation that terrorists were suspect. The man was as cool as could be. Not once did he mention that all the employees of his company were wiped out.

If a small lobby fire can bring down a steel frame structure so easily, no buildings are safe. But history tells us otherwise. That steel frame structured do not collapse because of fire. So the WTC collapses are either 1) controlled demolition or 2) 3 miracles (never to be repeated).

It has been the most painful event in my life, has caused me incredible grief and set me back in life, but I believe that if the real truth about those events does not surface, there will be no healing, and the world will be destined to lose its humanity and self destruct completely.
From the time that I watched the planes hit the towers that Tuesday morning, I completely believed that those planes could not maneuver themselves that accurately without the level of expertise that only the military of united States can have. The fact that the height difference between the first and second tower impacts was considerable, the mass of the building in the first tower hit above the impact point had to be on the order of 1/3 to 1/2 that of the second tower. That mass difference should have manifested itself in different crash behavior, yet both towers collapsed in exactly the same manner! Building 7 was so obviously demolished by internal explosive that the government story was never anything by a comic farse to me. God bless those brave enough to not let the true perpetrators get away with what they have done to this planet and this humanity.

A uniform collapse of a building over its full width and length at free fall acceleration for 8 stories (as was noted by NIST for building #7), is more than likely not a product of office fires. To achieve this one would need simultaneous and almost instantaneous failures of all supporting columns in a building. The finding of iron microspheres and unignited material which has the signature of nano-thermite based on a team of international scientists (including nano-Chemist Niels Harrit with 60 scientific papers published in the best journals) is equally disturbing and merits an independent investigation into all 3 buildings.

Again, the only possible explanation for the collapse of these two buildings is by explosive demolition.

To be quite honest, after learning the truth of 9/11/01, I chose to drop out of high school. I never appreciated the extremely boring and lethargic days, the constant appeal to authority, the compliance expected through punishment. The so called gravitational collapse of the trade center buildings would not result in the spontaneous pulverization of the building materials and the individuals trapped inside. From the moment I saw the plane 'melt' into the tower, I felt as if I was watching a bad cartoon lampoon where the character runs through solid rock leaving an unbroken outline. No break up of the plane, no flying debris, engines, and even the fragile wing tips melted into the steel facade like butter, leaving a perfect negative impression! The whole crazy incident was surreal in so many ways! How could it have ever even happen? TWICE? No USAF defense in the skies? Nothing? Then all the other anomalies too numerous to mention going on elsewhere, in the most secure airspace in DC...another plane flies into the Pentagon? Oh brother! I was so torn...is this more sad, scary or hilariously pathetic? And this was before all the other unbelievable inconsistencies, too numerous to mention! But those towers blowing into powder and falling into tidy little piles, no bodies, no office debris, just DUST, was too much to bear. (But they found intact 'terrorist' ID's!) I am shocked and scared to see the evidence that has unfolded in front of me. My thoughts that day of the buildings collapsing were that terrorists had somehow managed to also get inside the building and had planted bombs. That they came down like controlled explosions that happen here in Las Vegas when they demolish old buildings. But then the media convinced me that it was the planes. I am an aircraft maintenance technician with a major airline in the United States. I understand the technical abilities required to pilot Boeing 757 and 767 aircraft and I do not believe that the accused hijackers of 9-11 were capable of the outstanding feats of piloting we are expected to believe. I remember looking forward to the first television broadcast of a building demolition in the 1970's. My best friend and I were so enthusiastic with expectation for a couple of weeks prior. A couple of years later my friend told me they built the towers with the demolition charges already in place. I wrote him off on that statement, but now, I'm not sure. It's irrelevant, really. The towers and 7 are down. I was appalled watching the towers come down in their footprint. My first thought and any research I have done hasn't changed my opinion about it being a demolition IE footprint, liquid metal, beams cut on angles, thermite & nano thermite, unexplained explosions, eye witness accounts, building 7 heaving, then dropping, etc.
