PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

I was initially stunned and just dumbfounded after seeing them come down in 2001 but had an uneasy feeling about the explanations given for this terrible event. I am glad to see architects and engineers coming together to lend their expertise towards finding a more rational explanation than what was provided.

In addition, as a materials engineer, I know that steel and reinforced concrete buildings do not 'collapse' in the range of temperatures and time of exposure experienced by the WTC structures. Through my research, I have found a few specific areas of the NIST reports which in my estimation, do not seem to hold up to professional scrutiny. First and foremost being the anomalous acceleration of the collapse of WTC 7. I have not found evidence of this being adequately explored and investigated, as would be required for any other engineering analysis of such a collapse. Also, I have questions about the methodology used to determine the extent of fire insulation damage that was incident upon the towers due to the force of impact and subsequent fuel explosions. The NIST report seems to say that the assumed damage was not based on tests of similar insulation undergoing similar conditions, but rather is based on several varying degrees of possible damage being assumed in the computer analysis; mild, medium, and severe. After running the simulations and finding that the severe model is the only one that led to global collapse, they therefore concluded that the fire insulation damage was severe. It seems to me a classic case of letting your conclusion guide your evidence. Admittedly, I have not yet read all of NIST's supporting documentation (which might better explain this area of concern), however if such backup data exists to support their assumptions, it should have been included (or at least referenced) in the final report. The way I see it is that at best, it's some very shoddy technical writing; at worst, it's dishonest.

I remember being very surprised by the collapse of the Twin Towers after the planes struck. Despite the damage and fires, it did not seem possible. I also remember reports of Building 7 being evacuated because it was expected to come down from sustained damage. I accepted the explanations given by the media. It wasn't until years later that I started examining the research of experts on this and other websites and rethinking my discomfort with the official account. From an understanding of steel failure, I would expect any collapse to be gradual and asymmetric. If the official story were true, it would be a major embarrassment to the US design and construction industry that these towers failed so catastrophically, especially Building 7. I want to stand on the right side of history. We all deserve a real investigation with subpoena power, that explores every possibility.

Free fall theory and mechanical sections of the building blown out seems like controlled explosions. It would seem the large tonnage heating and cooling systems would have been salvaged in large chunks, but the absence of concrete chunks, no pancaking and no large chunks suggest to me controlled explosions.

I completed the Doctoral exam (equivalent of the Master degree) for Industrial Design Engineer at the Faculty of Industrial Design Engineering, Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands in 1991. I worked in the Netherlands in architecture and industrial design both in freelance positions directly for clients, and as a staff member at an architectural office until end of 1999. I worked on range of projects from smaller interior jobs to large building projects (residential buildings, apartment towers and housing projects).
The free fall collapses of the three buildings, the near perfect collapsing into their own foot prints, the lack of expected building materials to be present after such collapses, the pulverization of nearly anything the buildings consisted of into dust light enough to disperse by the wind over a large area, the first time in history that three fire-proof steel buildings collapse, the excellent footage of the top building 7 displaying the implosion of what I would consider to be the engine house on top of the elevator shaft seconds before anything happens to the building itself: if we consider the official explanation to be correct, non of this would be possible. Add to that the the witness reports of first responders of explosions before the collapses, and last but not least the statements of Mr. Silverstein regarding building 7: Just pull it.

The U.S. government's official explanation of the root cause of the collapse of the three WTC towers is completely counter intuitive, even to a non-licensed architect person. The pancake theory can only explain the partial collapse of the several floors where the jet fuel fires weakened the floor beams of the 2 towers, but not the free fall collapse of both towers.

It is quite clear aviation fuel cannot melt titanium. The engines from the two planes were at least part titanium alloy, sp they should have been quite visible after all the dust had settled. They're not small! They should have been recovered. The fact that they were not found is Eextremely suspicious.

The collapse of the twin towers and WTC building 7 is suspiciously like demolition by timed detonation of explosives. Fire does not explain the symmetrical and simultaneous failure of columns causing a building collapse. Even if the 'pancake method of failure' is found to be a viable building failure mode, it does not account for the collapse of building 7 which did not get hit by an airplane, or for residue of explosives found at the site. Additional investigation is needed now while witnesses and primary investigators are still alive and this tragedy is fresh in our memories.

I still have doubts about the collapse of Bldg. 7 and the WTC. They do come down symmetrically while the plane and foremost the engines are some distance from the building centers. If the buildings were to come down symmetrically after a fire, the fire would have had to be in the middle of the buildings. causing all center columns to fail first before the exterior. This would allow the pulling of the exterior walls and having a symmetric implosion. This theory is then impossible because the airplane engines were separated. If this had happened, it would have happened in one building but not in both... this raises many questions in my head.

There is clear evidence that the story the public is being told does not align with the evidence of the destruction. This is made abundantly clear from the attempted LSDyna analysis on building 7; the building would not fall with the given circumstances as seen. Only when the inputs were manipulated, i.e.: fire protection removed, shear bolt removed, thermal inputs hotter, would the computer model show the building coming down. Even then, the computer simulated the building falling in a manner different than what was actually witnessed.

I am a teacher, counselor, and political activist. I have become very interested in finding a way to lead our country away from the graft, destruction and corruption that is dominating its leadership.
When I watched the collapse of the second building, live, with my 6th graders, I knew, from what I'd seen of controlled demolitions, what I was seeing. I was at home that day and I saw quite everything I was expection the burning top of the building to tumble on the surounding building, because it is impossibleto heat up evenly a burning floor. For me it is impossible for a fire to have the building go staight down because it means that each floor going down HAD TO BE perfectly level and tumbled on one side, As for building 7, no way should that building go down. This is amother exemple of Pearl Harbour and the Kennedy assasimation . The arm industries were somehow behind this I think.

I am a freshman in college and would like to know the truth. I am sick of being left in the dark by our government.
The evidence is conclusive that this indeed was a conspiracy and I would like to see the individuals involved brought to justice. This country is no longer a democracy if we as a society allow such things to happen. With over 1,000,000 people dead due to this incident and most likely several wars coming in the future due to similar incidents, we need to stop this now. Our country already keeps enough away from us as it is, this and numerous other things need to be cleared up and I feel as though if I am not signing this I am letting myself and everything I believe in down.

Concerned citizen 9/11 Truth movement is the collective name of loosely affiliated organizations and individuals who question the accepted account of the September 11, 2001 attacks. General Engineering education including basic standard structural and architectural background, working in the field of geomatics.
I fail to see how these buildings could have fallen at the rate and direction they did fall due to heat deformation of structural steel joints and joists. Photos of ground zero show the box columns cut at a diagonal inward direction, clearly something that cannot be the result of deformation, impact from 100 floors falling from above, or any other type of structural failure. It can only be part of the cause of collapse.

I strongly doubt that JP-5 burns hot enough in order to melt the steel core of a building. Core melting is, according to my knowledge, the only action, caused by the aircrafts, that could have make the buildings collapse.

No structure can fall at the acceleration of gravity through an underlying structure, unless the supporting structure has been completely rendered ineffective, as dust. Jet-A, even as an aerosol, can not produce an explosion, merely a deflagration at best, and the burn temp of Jet-A does not approach by half the melting temp of steel. The official explanation defies all relevant laws of physics and structural integrity.

The story we were told is impossible to believe - buildings constructed as they were could not have fallen as stated - I was born in 1966 and watched the Towers being built with my father who is also a Contractor - If the tops of the towers would have sheared off and fell I might have not questioned the event - BUT - the impossible pancake effect needs to be questioned - buildings such as this could not have possibly fell at free fall speed - Then you have the #7 Building which was clearly professionally demolished.
