On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

It doesn't take a very experience engineer to see that the collapse of the WTC towers, in the manner that they did, was simply impossible. Unlike the old days, the baffling collapse was widely recorded. After the initial emotional had had time to calm down, most people should have started to question how something clearly impossible according to Newtonian science and all engineering principles had happened before our eyes. Shockingly, that's not the case. In the short attention span of the modern world, unscrupulous politicians no longer need to answer valid questions with matching intelligence. They can simply wave it off as conspiracy theory, and the case is closed. If a majority of the population is happy with their irresponsible labelling and devious tactic, their story, however incredible and ridiculous, becomes official. This is a heartbreaking and dangerous trend. Is the USA returning to Galileo's time in a massive scale? Most people, including learned ones, supported the Pope's planetary fantasy regardless of objective evidence. In the case of 9/11, it is particularly ironic because unlike 16th century Europe, knowledge and mass communication are at an unprecedented height today. If the ludicrous explanations in the official report stand, there should be other consequences. First, something should be done to all the buildings in the US (and the world?) erected based on similar principle as the WTC towers. Should the building codes be revised accordingly to prevent recurrence? Second, similar collapse has never been observed anywhere else. Are they implying that American structural engineering is the most backward on this planet? Third, in the light of such a fantastic structural failure, is any research work being done in the universities to understand the mechanics of a major phenomena which appears to defy everything Newton taught us? The engineering questions can make a very long list. However, we seem to have entered a new Dark Ages.

I have been very sceptical of the collapse of the WTC ever since that tragic morning of 9/11, when I watched on TV this horrific event unfold. A hot burning fire could never initiate such a catastrophic failure and collapse of the entire steel frame structure as was the one that occurred that day. Even if the structural damage of the impact and fire had initiated a failure of the support structure of the floors in question, then the failure would have been non symmetric, slow and gradual where the undamaged upper structure would have remained intact - a 'kinking' of the towers would have occurred. The video footage of the collapse that occurred that day is enough evidence to easily proof that a gravitational collapse of the entire structure due to fire did not occur that day (i.e. laws of physics are universal). Simple structural computer simulation and a finite element analysis could demonstrate this and proof without any reasonable doubt that the official story is incorrect. I would suggest that an accurate computer model be made available of the WTC Towers, so that students, professors and engineers around the world run the simulation and publish their results. The results should then be reviewed at an international conference of Structural Engineers and Architects and their findings made public. Any new official investigation of the event of 9/11 needs to be open to the public and transparent with international observers/media and experts present. We owe it to the victims and to our profession to get to the bottom of this quickly - let the cards fall where they may.

I didn't think the towers would fall. The 9/11 Commission Report neither includes all aspects of the given incident, nor explains comprehensible the collapse of the involved buildings. Considering the magnitude of political and social change within the US and worldwide due to this day, it is to expect, that its investigation is flawless, unbiased, comprehensive, scientifically exact and adequately discussed. The fact that it isn't and the procedural violations it contains made me sign this petition to resume the investigation to find out about the truth of 9/11.

There was substantial evidence to show that thermite was used to bring down the Towers, not only as they were collapsing, but afterwords also. For example, shortly before the South Tower collapsed, molten metal was seen pouring out of the building near the 81st floor. Plus, in the aftermath of the collapses there were signs of an explosive material having been used, as explosions were occurring in the rubble, and there were fires that could not be put out with water. The nano-thermite that was located and estimated to comprise about 0.1% of the weight of the WTC dust by Neils Harrit et al, has helped to close the net on the real suspects. One thing is for certain, this composite was far too advanced a material to have emanated from the bowels of a cave.

Within hours of this horror a group of us were discussing the nature of the collapse.We all agreed that if the top section of the towers had fallen for whatever reason, you would have expected the accumulated rubble and tangle of steel to form a pyramidical shape astride the remains of the tower below at some point where the compaction factor overcame the energy of the falling debris,some of which would have been pushed sideways by the forming pyramid and thus allowing the vertical fall moment to be converted to an angular one. We said at the time that it was 'all wrong' for that to have been caused by a fuel fire or mechanical damage.

The prevailing theory for the collapse of the 110-story, award-winning Twin Towers is that when jetliners flew into the 95th and 80th floors of the North and South Towers respectively, they severed several of each building's columns and weakened other columns with the burning of jet fuel/kerosene (and office combustibles). However, unlike concrete buildings, structural steel buildings redistribute the stress when several columns are removed and the undamaged structural framework acts as a truss network to bridge over the missing columns. After the 1993 car bomb explosion destroyed columns in the North Tower, John Skilling, the head structural engineer for the Twin Towers, was asked about an airplane strike. He explained that the Twin Towers were originally designed to withstand the impact of a Boeing 707 (similar in size to the Boeing 767). He went on to say that there would be a horrendous fire from the jet fuel, but 'the building structure would still be there.' The 10,000 gallons of jet fuel (half capacity) in each jetliner did cause horrendous fires over several floors, but it would not cause the steel members to melt or even lose sufficient strength to cause a collapse. This is because the short-duration jet fuel fires and office combustible fires cannot create (or transmit to the steel) temperatures hot enough. If a structural steel building could collapse because of fire, it would do so slowly as the various steel members gradually relinquished their structural strength. However, in the 100-year history of structural-steel framed buildings, there is no evidence of any structural steel framed building having collapsed because of fire. Let's assume the unlikelihood that these fires could weaken all of the columns to the same degree of heat intensity and thus remove their structural strength equally over the entire floor, or floors, in order to cause the top 30-floor building segment (South Tower WTC #2) to drop vertically and evenly onto the supporting 79th floor. The 30 floors from above would then combine with the 79th floor and fall onto the next level down (78th floor) crushing its columns evenly and so on down into the seven levels below the street level. The interesting fact is that each of these 110-story Twin Towers fell upon itself in about ten seconds at nearly free-fall speed. This violates Newton's Law of Conservation of Momentum that would require that as the stationary inertia of each floor is overcome by being hit, the mass (weight) increases and the free-fall speed decreases. Even if Newton's Law is ignored, the prevailing theory would have us believe that each of the Twin Towers inexplicably collapsed upon itself crushing all 287 massive columns on each floor while maintaining a free-fall speed as if the 100,000, or more, tons of supporting structural-steel framework underneath didn't exist.

Ever since watching the buildings collapse on 9/11/01 I could not believe buildings could collapse so perfectly from such limited damage. Something seemed wrong based on my understanding of Physics. When the WTC 7 building went down in the same fashion from no apparent structural damage and only from fires, I knew something wasn't right and started to investigate the videos and reports from not only the WTC but also the Pentagon. Disturbing question started arising from what I found out. Those questions are only now being answered by very capable professionals and, most importantly, by analyzing the evidence in a scientific manner.

I am increasingly interested in this investigation into 9/11. I have watched many documentaries and truly believe that this was completely a cover up. I would like to petition what we were told and learn any more facts about what really happened.
I am mostly concerned with the falling of Building 7 and how this was possible and why we didn't get any answers till 7 years later in 2008.

I'm just your average happily married guy, Father of two, I work in the film business, I work on my old house, I love what I do, and I do it well. I started looking into the 9/11 Truth Movement about 7 years ago after listening, to what I felt were complete lies by our administration when it came to the run up for war. Our media took everything at face value, there wasn't enough investigative journalism, whenever a mantra is used, truth gets lost. I knew something was wrong, so I started opening my eyes & mind.
A close friend asked if I would be willing to look into Controlled Demolition as a possible reason for how the World Trade Centers fell?? I basically told him to F-off, I watched it all unfold on that day, I felt surprised like everyone else, but after doing my own research I realized that much of what we saw wasn't just that one day. No longer did I have to accept that what I witnessed needed to be supported by immediate answers, and that by seeking more information, I began to understand just how lost the truth really is. Anything in Politics that is relevant should never be reverent, that's my new policy.

I have heard much of concern relating to 9/11 attacks. Ranging from the almost free fall of the buildings to the war games carried out that hindered any military response, and the speed of the clean up negating any genuine investigation, among other issues.

I'm a regular guy who prides himself on being rational and always seeking answers. With Science, all things are possible. We the people of earth deserve to know the TRUTH!!! Without the truth we will never truly evolve as a species. Isn't that all we really want? I know I do.
From the moment I witnessed the destruction of Buildings 1,2 and 7 on that fateful day I realized there was way more to the story than what we have been told. I'm not an accredited educated scientist, but I did take physics and chemistry in high school. The science DOES NOT support the official story, period. Buildings don't fall down at free fall speed into their own footprint. Never before or after 9/11 has a steel framed building collapsed due to structural failure from fire, and you expect me to believe 3 buildings did exactly that all in one day. Show me the science, not hearsay, conjecture and doctored scientific models.

I watched in horror as the WTC fell that morning. Immediately it was more than obvious the buildings free fell in an implosion style demolition. I have studied video after video including the original, for many hours on end and come to the same conclusion. These buildings were not taken down as we were lead to believe. It does not take a rocket scientist to note the difference between an Explosion and an Implosion. After many hours of truth seeking research, I feel it is time for a complete investigation into the events that brought down the WTC and Building number 7 on September 11, 2001.

The collapse of the Twin Towers was completely uncharacteristic of buildings which are on fire. Both the towers and in particular WTC7 looked far more characteristic of controlled demolition.

WTC1 & WTC2 collapsed at almost free fall speed, I wonder where all the steel and concrete went to! Some believe they collapsed because of the weight of the upper 10-20 stores, but what about WTC7? this was clearly controlled demolition!

I went to a total of 5 yrs of school for my nursing education. I've worked in a variety of fields ranging from convelescence to sub-acute rehabilitation, telemetry, & my last job I was in the Cardiovascular ICU @ Baystate Medical Center in Springfield MA for 8 1/2 yrs until I got really sick with a condition called Tracheobronchomalacia....now I'm too sick to work..I had a 7 1/2 hr surgery in Beth Israel Hospital in Boston, MA in Dec '10. I'm going back to Boston in Oct of this yr to see if they can finish fixing my trachea. I've always worked...I have since I was 13yo...I would be if I could....hoping, Praying to be again soon...I know God has a Plan for me!
I remember where I was Like it was Yesterday when I heard of the attacks...I was in my car after a night shift @ Hartford Hospital coming home listening to Kiss 95.7 & they said a plane flew into the World Trade Center....This was the First plane so they thought it was an accident...as I continued my ride a few minutes later the 2nd plane hit! THEN WE KNEW...I KNEW...I Remember a Feeling of Helplessness, Panic! My Older son was in School @ the Time & if we were going to sustain further attacks I remember wanting to go get him before I went home. The Truth Is...I DIDN'T HAVE A CLUE WHAT TO DO! Then I Remembered my husband was a Marine Before & He may know What to do...So I Hurried Home & Woke him Out of his Sleep & told him we were under Air Attack. In his disbelief he jumped up out of bed, opened the front door, looked in the skies & turned on CNN. THEN He Believed Me! When I saw the Towers Swaying I thought...OMG...They're gonna Fall...When the First did...I gasped, cried, in disbelief for all those people inside, then the second...Utter Devastation(reliving it I have tears now). I'm SOOO SAD For ALL those Lives Lost That Day.... In ALL the Locations! Especially since I later Knew we had the knowledge to STOP It! WE(THE USA) Are Not Indestructible & we Need to Stop thinking we are! Be Confident, Yes...But NOT Cocky! Especially When we Have the Resources to Protect our Precious Body-The People...Isn't the How Our Constitution Starts out We The People.... It's Time WE start Thinking in Terms of WE Again! Perhaps WE wouldn't be in Half the Mess we're in today. In GOD WE TRUST!
