PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

I find no historical or factual evidence to support the official theory of a pancake collapse due to a gas fire. Studying video footage of these towers being destroyed, I do not see a normal demolition collapse. Something totally new happened here: 200,000+ tons of steel de-molecularized and instantaneously turned into powder in mid-air. Why doesn't the steel hit the ground as in a normal demolition? Where are all the concrete and steel decking floors stacked up on the ground, as in a normal demolition? Where is the 70-story steel antenna spire and the football field of core elevator columns in the pile of debris for either tower? I challenge anyone to review the video footage while asking themselves these questions. Beyond obvious demolition techniques, what new technology is being used here? 90,000+ tons of concrete and 200,000+ tons of steel do not just disappear in midair, and float way as dust' yet that is what the video footage reveals. Matter doesn't just disintegrate. Why isn't the paper littering the streets of Manhattan burnt to a crisp?' how is it that organic matter of (paper) was not affected as the mountains of steel, concrete, office furniture, plumbing, electrical, mechanical units' all turned to dust? More questions remaining unanswered by the official story include: The non-resistance free-fall timing of the disintegrations, pictures of the diagonally molten cut base columns (used to 'walk' a building during demolition), unexplained basement explosions, the appearance of molten steel pouring out of the windows during the disintegrations, thermal evidence of molten steel in the rubble a weeks after the event, a pyroclastic cloud engulfing the island and leaving it 4inches deep in dust, the findings of an unknown substance of nano-thermite, and the collapse of Building Seven in a more traditional demolition-style freefall without significant fire or structural reason. These officially unexplained things are outside the natural laws of physics of a simple gas fire, especially for steel structures designed to withstand larger, multiple jetliner impact and structural fires. It would be interesting to follow the money-trail: were the buildings outdated, losing money, up to code, an environmental hazard costing more to fix than just tear down? Do we dare ask ourselves... Have we overlooked a profitable reason(s) for a secret demolition? To catalog the unfurling worldwide events since this day in 2001, I think a light must be held to the darkness and the question must be asked of those who have gained from this event, and what new technology coupled with nano-explosives can de-molecularize matter in mid-air? Why isn't the 70-story steel antenna spire and football field of elevator core steel columns of each tower in the piles on the ground? How has all this matter been turned to dust in midair? Literally.

I'm grateful to AE911 truth for upholding the principles of evidence based science that are consistent with those I encountered during my early undergraduate studies and training. Their questions are my questions and I believe that the institutional ethic is undermined by its implicit endorsement of the destruction of valuable data sets, its dismissal of independent inquiry and its bad faith deployment of institutionalised science to subvert the scientific method. The negligence of a single professional, be they medical, scientific or otherwise can result in a custodial sentence. The negligence of a generation of professionals may result in the loss of faith in evidence-based engineering as a tool for good. As such I feel that AE911Truth better represent me in what I was trained to be 'science' than the institutions do at present. I trust this situation will resolve itself eventually to the benefit of all as it always does, hence my membership.

I was working in NYC for Urbahn Associates Architects when it happened, and the Port Authority was one of that office's clients, so we made field trips to the towers on a number of occasions. I've never been able to explain how the towers collapsed as they did if the collapse wasn't 'assisted' by explosives. I believe 85-90% of the towers below the point of impact couldn't have fallen because of the forces of the impacts and the heat generated by the burning jet fuel.

In the case of Building 7 I'm very confident that there was a true and very well studied implosion, demolishing the building so that it collapses straight down into its own footprint (the total area at the base of the building). This feat requires such skill that only few and very experienced demolition experts in the world will attempt it. Among other evidences, the way and time of the building collapse indicates a previous study of the building structure. The motion during the fall was almost vertical and therefore cannot be by hazard, or even caused by a fire, because all supports must be cutted at the same time, or in a specific way that the columns at the center of the building are cutted before the other columns so that the building's sides fall inward.

I have been an engineer for 26 years and have worked in South Africa and the USA. For the last 13 years I have lived in Detroit, and for most of this time I have been involved in automotive suspension design, catering to the OEM automotive market. My work has involved design analysis, product development, problem solving, project management and customer liaison.
It has become clear to me that the official story, that describes the reasons for the 911 WTC building collapses, is fundamentally flawed. There are hundreds of gaping anomalies and unanswered questions. The most obvious question is how Building 7 collapsed. The much delayed explanation appears fraudulent. Similar very substantial issues remain with the Building 1 and 2 official reports. The most plausible explanation appears to be that of controlled demolition - for the destruction all three buildings. It is important that the truth is known - of what really happened. Most of all, this is owed to the families of the victims, who had to fight long and hard for the first official report - which was a dismal failure. A new investigation is needed imminently.

The incident does not ring true from too many angles. The reticence to follow and conduct an investigation is troubling; appointing Henry Kissinger as the head of the committee, more troubling. Many unanswered questions from the stories emanating from the circumstances around the hijacking to why the FBI and NSA never followed up after listening to all of the conversations. Why was Louis Freeh so preoccupied with gathering more evidence on Clinton? Why did they arrange to get rid of John O'Neill by making his life hell when he was the best informed of anyone in the FBI about what had happened in Yemen and where it might lead, including the arrest of the hijackers. Why no follow up with the Phillipine Secret police? why did we do nothing with the evidence from 93? On and on the questions go. And why were we so quick to get rid of evidence from the WTC?

I am currently studying at the University of Southampton, UK for a Masters in Physics with Space Science which I feel has equipped me with not only some direct education on some discrepancies with the 911 report but also taught me how to think using the scientific method to come to conclusions about the world, something which I feel has not occurred in this instance.
Either the official accounts or the laws of physics are incorrect. The free fall of the towers without resistance shows that the support structure of all three WTC buildings was compromised to a point of non existence. The potential energy of gravitation is by no means enough to explain the observed phenomena.

Obviously a contrived event. Building 7 collapsed after a few hours of minimal fires, having been hit by nothing. This, we're told, is the first time a steel framed building collapsed from fire, and we had three in one day. What a coincidence. So why was the government in such a big hurry to haul off the evidence of what it characterized as a crime scene? This destruction of evidence was a violation of law. Why did Silverstein borrow money to take out a lease on the entire complex, if it needed over $1 billion in asbestos remediation, which no insurance company was willing to pay? Why the anomalous put option purchases on American Airlines and United Airlines days before the event? This pack of lies is the Achilles heel of the police state, and it must be exposed.

After careful consideration, the collapse of the twin towers and building seven could ONLY have been done by controlled explosives. As a trained pilot hearing that no hijacking call was carried out on the transponder just makes the real story more cloudy.

The buildings came straight down perfectly... Nearly uniform downward acceleration in the north tower. The persistent acceleration of the top section shows that some other source of energy was used to remove the structure below.

WTC 7 was already rebuilt in 2006; the new 52 floor Bldg. is supposedly able to handle 9/11 loads, But has this been independently verified ? The Old 47 floor WTC 7 fell @ free fall speed; how did this happen ?

After obtaining a degree in Physics with Space Science and Systems, I went on to work in research and development, designing microwave components for radar systems and telecommunications equipment. This was a cross-disciplinary field involving mechanical engineering, electronics, RF design, and computer programming. I have also worked using laser guided optics to investigate the structure of liquid crystals and software engineering in support of terahertz imaging equipment. At the moment, I am employed in a space robotics research group.
To my shame, I didn't question the official narrative of 9/11 until 2005. Since then, almost every aspect of this that I have looked into has turned out to be provably wrong, but the physical anomalies of that day are most compelling for me. The three buildings that collapsed - WTC1, 2 & 7 - are the only steel-framed buildings to have catastrophically and suddenly failed due to fire. There was no progressive, asymmetrical failure as one would expect, and the pulverisation of the concrete and forceful ejection of structural members clearly points to explosives. For the first 2+ seconds of building 7's fall, its rate of acceleration was indistinguishable from free-fall. This is absolutely impossible without controlled demolition!

I have seen no evidence to suggest that the impacts and explosions of the two aircraft that impacted WTC towers 1 and 2 were sufficient to cause their collapse into their own footprint. And, of course, there was no impact or other apparent reason for WTC tower 7 to collapse into its own footprint at a free-fall rate other than the probability of pre-positioned explosives.

Where was the Air Force? How could buildings collapse straight down? What pulverized all the concrete and contents of these buildings? Why weren't building collapses carefully investigated to prevent future failures? Why are these the only 3 high rise buildings to ever collapse? Why was this crime scene destroyed before a thorough investigation? Why weren't these 4 airliner crashes studied by NTSB -National Transportation Safety Board? Why was official 911 investigation stalled for over 16 months?

All the information that I have gathered on the subject raises serious credibility issues with the official version. I believe that it is in the interest of the United States, and democracy everywhere, to investigate the matter in a thorough manner. In addition, it is also in the interest of Science and Engineering to get the true facts as these, as well as the precipitous elimination of forensic evidence, just does not allow a proper understanding of the processes involved. If the inquiry were to substantiate the current official assertions, this would help in getting a better understanding of the physics of tall structures.
