PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

I am a Civil Engineer-in-Training working for the City of Milwaukee. I have researched this event continuously for the last 2 years and have been interested in it for the last 4. This event took place on my birthday so I feel compelled to find the truth about what happened that day. So many pieces to this disaster don't seem to mesh with what the government told America and I want to find out what happened. If our government is this corrupt, they must have their own agenda and are not making decisions by the people for the people.
Even though Debunking 911.com says there was a hole in the south side of building 7, that conspiracy theorists did not take into account, it does not mean the building falls neatly into its own footprint. If there is a hole on one side of a building, the building will tend to collapse toward the weakest point, toppling the building over or collapsing in some sort of non-symmetrical manner. Videos from building 7 show the building, at the same time from all 4 corners, collapsing straight down into its own footprint, not damaging anything else around it. How does this happen if there wasn't some other element helping with the collapse?

I was still in college at Mines when the towers came down. I remember going to one of the 'presentations' that they had on campus to help explain how it could have happened... how the first steel structured building in history had suffered a full collapse due to fire damage(and 3 of them ta boot!). It was some expert from somewhere, and he was quite convincing in the fact that the fuel from the planes had burned hot enough for the steel to fail, and then the 'pan-caking effect' and weight from the stories above caused the accordion type collapse of the towers. Not really being an expert in melting steel (or anything yet, for that matter...) i bought this explanation without further investigation and got back to my classes and trusted it in the hands of the expert investigators. Ever since then, when I truly began to critically think about the disaster in 2001, I cannot bring myself to believe the 'official' explanations of what was reported to have happened on 9/11. It is obvious to me that all 3 buildings were brought down in a planned/controlled demolition, and that there is way more to the 9/11 story than we have 'officially' been told. Please re-open the investigation, and let us not be victims of repeating such dark pasts... by not letting our history be such a dark lie...

Upon viewing the video of the collapse of the towers and comparing that to controlled demolitions of similar structures, I speculated that the official story was not the truth. A few days ago, I listened to a podcast and was thrilled that the experts are pursuing a disclosure of the truth. Though I believe the truth is much different than the official story, none of those who perished (including two USNA 1981 classmates) can be restored to life by bringing the perpetrators to full account. It simply looked like a controlled demolition. No skyscraper has ever collapsed from fire before or since, not even the empire state building, which is made of brick, collapsed during WWII when it was hit by a B-52 bomber full of munitions. Jet fuel only burns at roughly 1,800 degrees Fahrenheit while it takes at least 2,500 degrees to melt steel. None of the official details add up.

I believe that science is the best way to seek truth, and science has revealed that the official story is at best inaccurate, and at worst, a complete fabrication, which begs the question why?? I am a legal professional and writer who has a good grasp of the laws of physics, and NORAD procedures, and investigation of crimes from thirty-five years' experience dealing with discovery and working up cases for trial. This has required coming up to speed on a broad range of different disciplines, construction and physics among them.
All three WTC buildings came down at very near free fall speed. The ONLY way the laws of physics allow for this is if the resistance was blown out with explosives. Fire outright CANNOT account for it, nor can weakened bolts or weakened steel or even both. Tiny bits of human bone cannot be found on rooftops so far away without the help of explosives either.

I remain doubtful about the official story. The perfect downward fall looked like a four-corners demo job; the reported presence of thermite in the rubble; the absence of any black boxes when fingernails and DNA could be found; the report that AG Ashcroft refused to fly in August and September; and most of all, the non-scrambling of jets from Andrews AFDB, all make for grave doubts about the veracity and credibility of the official 9-11 report.

How does burning kerosene cause pools of molten metal at the bottom of the World Trade Center Towers? Even if burning kerosene could melt the steel of the Twin Towers, how does one explain the pool of molten metal beneath 7 World Trade Center, which was not struck by an airplane (and don't give me that diesel-fuel tanks argument: diesel fuel has a burn output similar to that of kerosene!).

I saw David Ray Griffin on CNN and read his first book, then attended a presentation by Richard Gage and Dr. Steven E. Jones in Los Angeles and became convinced that the towers did not collapse by being struck by the planes. Loose Change convinced me that no plane flew into the Pentagon. Structural steel was removed too quickly as if there was a real effort to thwart an investigation. The refusal to have a thorough independent investigation promotes distrust of what used to be OUR government and is now THE government.

It's so obvious that these Towers were brought down by controlled demolition. It's impossible to believe the official story, which contradicts basic physics and logic after having seen all the evidence. The way the official examination went is just scandalous and shocking. When I was about 13, my father and I watched a building be demolished by controlled explosive demolition. He explained the process, and the pros and cons of demolishing a building that way. About 20 years later, on the morning of 9/11/2001, I was taking a university class that met in the early mornings in the university's theater. When I arrived at my class, the professor already had the news on, so I sat in my usual seat, front row center, and I watched several hours of MSNBC's 9/11 news coverage on a movie-theater-sized screen. Watching the buildings collapse (and seeing the footage over and over) I have never had any doubt that what I watched was buildings collapsing due to explosive demolition. Then WTC 7 collapsed in very much the same way -- straight down, all at once. It sure looked like controlled demolition, too. And WTC 7 wasn't even hit by a plane.

I was stunned at the way the buildings came down, like sand castles that we made when we were children. I tried, thereafter, to find some more scientific information about their collapses. Of course, issues of what is the temperature sufficient to melt the steel beams, girders, etc. Then, discovering that the so-called molten steel was immediately shipped out of the country caused me more concern, because experts had not even had a chance to examine the remains so to speak. And, moreover, Building 7 was not struck by a plane, but came down in the exact same fashion as the North and South Towers of the World Trade Center.

There are simply too many, serious gaps in the explanation of the events of 911 as reported by the Official 911 Commission. Moreover, simply too many critically relevant witnesses were not called or refused to testify before the Commission. Under these circumstances, it is not reasonable to expect any serious persons to accept the official story as the true or a reasonably complete story of what happened on that critical day. Accordingly, there must be a full, scientific investigation of the events of 911 by an independent body, with full subpoena power, in full compliance of the law that requires a full investigation of all major crimes. This nation cannot maintain its moral and legal reputation and integrity without taking such action. Failure to take such legally mandated action will only fuel the suspicion that some group of highly influential people inside the government have something terrible to hide in connection with 911. These shameful suspicions must all be cleared by means of the most independent, certifiably unbiased, scientific investigation for the sake of the honor of the dead and for the pride of this nation and of all Americans who are dedicated to our national heritage and democracy and who deserve no less.
