PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

I remember watching the event unfold on TV here in Australia. As shocking as the act itself appeared, when I saw the buildings collapse I was incredulous. Tall modern buildings are designed to withstand far greater impacts than airplanes i.e. earthquakes and hurricanes. There is no way that an airplane could demolish (to the ground) a high-rise building.

From the moment they fell, I never believed the instantly-formulated official account and immediately realized the attacks were going to be used as pretexts to fight endless wars, just as in the Cold War, against imaginary enemies in occupations whose purpose is to create real ones. One detail unrelated to the physics of collapse: the 700 pages of Patriot Act in thousands of copies were printed before the attacks occurred, meaning that as with the five+ years involved in coordinating the events of September 11, the coordinated dismantling of what remains of our constitutional rights was carefully envisioned way in advance. No steel frame building has ever collapsed due to an open air fire because the open air fires cannot get hot enough to affect the steel. When was the last time anyone has ever watched their metal camp fire grill experience a progressive collapse after hours of sitting by a campfire? Never. The collapse of all three WTC towers at free fall speed clearly demonstrates that there was no resistance from the massive steel and concrete - only explosives could have removed that resistance.

"I had read 'Why Buildings Fall Down,' and 'Why Buildings Stand Up"", due to an interest in mechanical engineering. I knew the design of the world trade center. I knew it was designed around vertical columns. I knew that even if the building floors collapsed, those columns would not have, as they'd have no load on them. I also knew steel buildings don't come down in their own footprint w/o assistance.. much less 3 in the same day. I saw Bush on TV, when a suit whispered in his ear, telling him what was going on, while he was reading a book to children, and he just continued reading.. showing no surprise or concern. I couldn't believe it.. he knew it was coming. There is so much outstanding evidence, all well chronicled. I don't need to repeat it here. They did it to us right in broad daylight, on TV and we let them."

I believed the media information, at first, about 9/11. However, as a person that needs to research what we are spoon fed in the media, I started to discover so many illogical events. I have worked in construction while going to college and could not understand why three industrial buildings would collapse with the impact of a plane. One building didn't even have a plane hit it! I also come from a family of pilots. When looking at the trajectory of each of the supposed plane crashes (including the pentagon), no pilot experienced or inexperienced could make that happen. None of this makes sense to me, and when I see the memorials of 9/11 at each site I am disturbed by the continued use of fear to justify violence.
