PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

Worked for 50 years in construction design in and around NYC, including several years in my own engineering business. While working, bought and converted to residential use an old, empty industrial building within Ground Zero. Moved there with my family in 1992. Retired in August, 2001, went for short vacation to Italy, and returned to my own bed on September 10, 2001, where I was awakened by the sound of the first plane crashing into the WTC.
I lived and worked in lower Manhattan before the WTC was built. I witnessed and was involved in several projects within the WTC during and after its construction. On 9/11, I was awakened by the noise of the crash of the first plane into WTC 1 and witnessed the fire and distruction caused by that event. While I was watching, the second plane hit WTC 2. My wife and I left the area by bicycle 20 minutes before the collapse of the North & South Towers, which we witnessed from 1 mile north. My house is 2 blocks from WTC 7, which collapsed several hours later. I was allowed to return to the area 1 week later. I was disturbed by the height of the debris caused by the relatively small WTC 7 compared to the smaller mound from the Twin Towers. Since then I have been following the conspiracy theories, and have found much in them to be accurate and troubling more accurate than the official government reports.

There are too many doubts. All three WTC buildings appear to have collapsed according to controlled demolition, even those hit by planes. The collapse is not a true progressive collapse, as it is too fast. All three collapse under gravity. So the base of each was removed by explosives and plenty of eye witnesses testify to hearing them. The fact that a crime scene was cleared as quickly as possible clearly points to official involvement in 911. The fact that no military aircraft were scrambled into the air when the planes were hijacked points to involvement at the highest government levels. The fact that almost immediately President Bush was able to announce that the culprit was Bin Laden suggests very strongly a plan for military action. I believe 911 was, like Pearl Harbor, intended to alter the nation's mentality to prepare it for foreign war, which had not been possible since the trauma of Vietnam. So a massive event was necessary. It was very ambitious but a botched job and only the cooperation of the media could sustain the lies. The rush to go to war immediately after was to take people's minds off of the truth.

As a leader in the fire rated glass and metal systems supply I have witnessed and performed many tests to ASTM E119. For 20+ years we have developed, manufactured and supplied fenestration and framing systems with up to 2 hour ratings. Having a pilot scale oven and running the time/temp curve in development of new products I know how steel performs. I was one mouse click away from being on Flight 93 so it only seemed right to fight what I knew could not be.

The very fact of the rapidity of the collapse in relation to conservation of energy and momentum defies all known physics. My company utilizes a variety of materials processing technologies including: laser cutting, plasma cutting, shearing, machining, welding, and heavy pressing in the thousands of tons. The steel structural materials, of which the world trade center buildings were made, are very similar to the materials we process. Age 61, 35 years experience.
Popular explanations of the collapse of the world trade center buildings seem to ignore the structural roll of columns. The public television production, Nova entirely left out the core columns of the building in their animation of the collapse, focusing our attention on floor pancaking, as though the floors are the structure that support the building. Even a slight understanding of how much force it would take to telescope the columns of these buildings all the way to ground level and beyond, makes the official explanation laughable. The same is true of the heat generated by an oxygen starved fire in weakening the high strength structural steel to the point collapse. Only explosives could have reduced these three buildings to their own footprint in so short a time. We are witnesses of this crime; it was done in broad daylight and many of us saw it on live TV; yet, most of us still don't know what we saw.

I earned a degree in engineering before transitioning into technology work.
It has been shown through video evidence that the towers have fallen at free fall speed. This cannot be accomplished without demolition explosives. This occurrence was not mentioned in the 9/11 report and therefore the report is not useful and does not illuminate what happened on that day. A true investigation needs to follow to know precisely what happened and why explosives were present on each and every floor so that they could fall at free fall speed, as well as why building seven which was not hit by a plane could be destroyed by fire alone.

Given my knowledge of basic structural mechanics, properties of steel, and the structure of a light construction office towers, I think it would be impossible for the buildings to fall as they did from the jet crashes and subsequent fire, which was not hot enough to melt steel.

World Trade Centers 1 and 2 fell at the speed of gravity, with none of the concrete supporting below the fire line impeding it's progress in ANY way. The buildings did not simply just grown, roll and break over the edge of the fire line level as would be the natural expectation. There has been much not said about the subterranean explosions heard prior to the buildings falling into their own footprint. WTC7 was far more blatant in that it was imploded. Early (same day) reports from the ground, to clear the area by foreign accent troops that were recorded, played, and never shown again by it's own right show prior knowledge of the planned destruction. Not to mention the obvious way that this building was de-pillared and forced to drop straight down, (where the claims are that 60-some pillars would have had to strategically given way simultaneously). Educated, savvy, and average people raise an eye to the fact that never before, and never since Sep 11 2001, has any concrete and steel building ever fallen due to fire, let alone fire only burning for 1 to 7 hours. CRITICAL THINKING IS NOT A CRIME!!!

In my opinion the twin towers and building 7 were destroyed by controlled demolition: According to all the reports the towers took about ten seconds to hit the ground. therefore the buildings collapsed at free fall (by using the law of gravity, H=1/2 at2). In controlled demolition the explosives are distributed on the building key points and detonated simultaneously.

The building collapse seems a result of other explosions that was places at the lowest part of the buildings, and at some other locations located on the main bearing points of the structures. no lateral forces applied at the upper level of such huge structures would cause the sudden collapse of the entire structures.

The Environmental Engineering Program was part of the Department of Civil Engineering, with an emphasis on water and waste water treatment. I have over 20 years of experience working as an environmental professional, providing compliance support to companies on the following topics: air quality, hazardous materials/risk management, solid & hazardous waste management, storm water program requirements, waste water permitting, underground and above ground storage tanks, oil pollution prevention, PCBs, and asbestos.
I first became aware that the official government story regarding the building collapses was suspect after attending the 911-Inquiry Conference in San Francisco in March 2004. Since that time, I have been part of the 9-11 Truth Community, and have kept abreast of the developments arising from the ongoing research efforts of a number of dedicated individuals. In particular, watching video footage of the building collapses, hearing the numerous eye-witness accounts of explosions prior to the buildings collapsing, and learning that molten steel was present in the building debris (which, due to the laws of physics, could not possibly have arisen from a hydrocarbon fire--even under ideal circumstances--given the significantly higher melting temperature of steel), lead me to believe that the official story is simply not plausible. Learning more recently that evidence of nano-thermite was discovered in a sample of the building material, was particularly disturbing and I believe strongly that we need to push for a new investigation into the events of 9-11.

It definitely appears that Bldg #7 was a controlled demolition along with the other towers. It was announced on TV that #7 was going to come down and I also saw a clip of Larry Silverstein say pull it, which is a demolition term. Popular Mechanics said it was brought down by fire, which is totally contradictory to what the news and silverstein said. How could all these explosives be set for #7 between 11AM and 5:20PM? It takes weeks of planning to set explosives for demolition. This leads me to believe that the explosives were set long before 9/11. The fact that the ground was still burning up to 3 months after is also an indication that jet fuel was not the culprit. Witnesses said there was greenish smoke coming from the ground and some rescue workers said there shoes were melting. What happened to all the office furniture and door knobs in the buildings?

The fall of WTC 7 did it for me. The fact that BBC had announced it prior to the collapse, and that it had not been hit by any airplane. Then if fell perfectly...the third skyscraper that day that just fell perfectly into its own footprint. No way...Then the media blackout on that building and not a word in the commission report...WTC 7 was very obviously a controlled demolition and no one puts that together on the day of 911...It had to have been planned. Inescapable conclusion.

I have viewed some of the latest presentations on the 9/11 Building Collapses including the AE911Truth Video. Looking at the evidence being worked on and presented; the truth must be uncovered and recorded so this type of tragedy can be prevented in the future. The Scientific Method utilized and taught to children in the seventh grade, must be allowed when true facts are established.

The building 7 collapse was obviously a controlled demolition. There was no direct plane crash, and a diesel building fire somehow caused a perfect demolition internal collapse. This was no accident, and to me, completely discredits the official report, and must be investigated and scientifically explained. I would like a release of any and all evidence related to 9/11, so the public can decide. There are many unanswered questions in my mind. How come raw materials from the demolished building are hidden away in warehouses, and not publicly available? Let independent auditors test metal from the wreckage for nano-thermite. Why is there no open scientific scrutiny and study? Why is the public prevented from seeing an analyzing the evidence? Why were air force pilots kept occupied training for the exact scenario (hijacking exercise) the day of the attacks? (air traffic controller saying is this real world, or an exercise). Where are the black boxes? Security footage tapes? Release the pentagon footage - all of it (there must be some hi-res footage not publicly released), showing the crash, to refute claims it was a cruise missile / inside job, and confirm it was a plane. Explain the Pennsylvania crash - why are there no large plane parts? Explain how black boxes can fail to survive all crashes. These are designed to survive, and yet *all* 4 vanished? This isn't possible. If it were, then there are serious problems with black-box design and a national redesign should be in force. Again, science to overcome this exact scenario (crashes) somehow failed? This contradicts the official report, and must be explained. Explain how diesel can melt steel. Modern material science is advanced enough to show jet fuel can't melt steel (1400 degree jet fuel fires can't melt steel at almost 2800 degrees), so how *did* it melt? Refute nano-thermite questions with evidence. Again, why does science contradict the official report? If it is eventually determined nano-thermite was actually used (contrary to the official findings), then go further, and identify who could have done such a thing? On such a massive scale? Undetected? Open up video security footage from inside the buildings to help identify the individuals involved, expose street camera footage to allow vehicles in/out to be identified so we can understand who could have done this and how they pulled it off. Motive and opportunity. Who stood to profit from 9/11? Follow the money trail. This hasn't received enough investigative attention. The whole affair smells of a cover-up. Too much contradiction with science, too many (easily answered) unanswered questions. If there is nothing to hide, why is all the evidence hidden away in private? All of these issues and many more need serious investigation, openly, by the public, which can only happen with access to the evidence in question. Currently there are too many secrets, too much evidence held in secret, preventing people from analyzing the evidence openly, drawing their own conclusions, and thus determining their own truth. Let's make the evidence public, so people can find truth, get closure, and move on once and for all.

The manner in which the building fell contradict science, history (other building in the past have been hit by planes or burning w/o a similar collapse) and the testimonies of eye witnesses.

Before 9/11 no steel-frame high-rise building had ever collapsed due to fire, and the collapse of WTC 7 was straight-down, symmetrical in nearly free-fall, extremely improbable except in a controlled demolition.

There is nothing I can add at this point that has not been covered, with evidence, by many professionals and eyewitness accounts. All I can say is that the perpetrators of this ghastly crime must be brought to justice and be held accountable for their crimes. I am a licensed mechanical engineer with 20 years of experience in the areas of mechanical design and combustion.
I have spent a lot of time researching the WTC failure modes and the one conclusion I have drawn is that the official explanation fails to explain the events of 9/11. Some example questions I have are: 1) Where does the recent finding of the explosive thermite in WTC dust fit into the official explanation of the WTC collapse? 2)An open fire consisting of office debris and jet fuel will burn with a maximum temperature of ~1800F. (as a side note, on 9/11, the fire was much cooler as proven with the orange flames and black clouds of soot). It is well known that structural steel will lose ~1/2 its yield strength at 1800F. So my question is how does a structure designed to be 100 to 1000 times stronger than required fails when only 50% its strength is compromised? In other words, the structure would have had to lose over 99% of its strength to have failed when in fact worst case it lost only 50%. 4) What are the odds of all three buildings failing with the same symptoms and questions as outlined in questions 1 through 3? If someone can find answers to these questions that is supported by physics, I believe we will be heading in the direction of truly understanding what took place on 9/11.

I was EXTREMELY skeptical to say the least when first told of this possibility of 9/11 being staged. Putting by disbelief aside for a while proved to be the most eye-opening experience of my life! Further investigation into the WHO & WHY has been akin to a born-again experience in finding the REAL truth of who runs this country and the world. I've always wondered why things are the way they are and now it makes total sense. If you truly LOVE & CHERISH this country as I do and want it to remain FREE for your children's children,,, then pass the word to anyone who will listen about this site and what really occurred on 9/11. If we gain enough support,,, this can be the TRIGGER that awakens the rest of the world to the real reason behind this travesty! Wake-up and be the Patriot you were meant to be! I never believed the official story since day one. Three of us watched it on TV and all agreed what we saw is not possible. I understand what it takes to melt steel. I understand that lots of smoke means a cool limited active fire. I simply do not believe a small band of foreigners could so completely fool the entire US security system. I do not pretend to know who was behind this; but it is clear all three buildings were controlled demolitions. I suspect Building #7 was used to bring down the Towers; then demolished to hide evidence. The Pentagon story is just as un-believable/Improbable. As a Canadian I must admit that I fear the U.S. (and its allies) and their agendas more than I fear terrorists. I don't believe governments or special power groups are smart enough to pull off a 9/11 event without disclosure and leaks - but something terrible is a amiss. If you look at the major decisions coming out of your Obama administration, many of them defy logic and seem incredibly suicidal almost.
