PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

The theory that the three towers collapsed due solely to aircraft impact defies the physics law of conservation of momentum. Simply, the impact of the collapsing upper section does not have the force necessary to push through the stronger lower sections at an ever accelerating rate. (The increase in acceleration during collapse was documented by independent researchers.) WTC 7 was not struck by an aircraft but also collapsed that same day. This collapse is entirely unprecedented in the history of fire-protected steel frame high rise construction. The only way the three towers could have collapsed in the manner observed was by additional forces, such as demolition charges, being added to the buildings.

A brainy, nerdy child, I was politically right-wing in high school in Virginia, but gradually shifted to the left during and after my engineering training in North Carolina, until after moving to Berkeley, California in 1998. Since around 2000 my interests have shifted away from politics and toward spirituality and permaculture. My view is that we should know the truth but build a sustainable future rather than trying to fight evil.

It was clearly a controlled demolition in all 3 buildings: WTC 1, 2, and 7. Nothing can drop to earth at the same acceleration as the acceleration due to gravity, if it has 50,000 tonnes of steel and concrete beneath it, between it and the earth. The top portion of each of the WTC twin towers fell at freefall acceleration and hit the earth in freefall time. This is a scientific impossibility under normal circumstances obeying the physical and scientific laws of nature. The only way this could physically happen following the physical and scientific laws of nature, the way we see it occur, is if the remaining portions of the buildings (floors 1~90) below the impact points, were invisible or just simply not there at all to begin with, so that when the top portion of each building began to collapse, so they could reach the earth, from the height they were at, in the time it took to reach the earth, in just under 10 seconds, is if there was absolutely nothing at all except thin air between the top portion of each twin tower and the earth. Except the floors 1~90 were there; they were not invisible. Therefore the only logical explanation is if the 50,000 tonnes of steel and concrete of floors 1~90 must have been intentionally removed out of the way extremely fast enough, such as to allow the top portions of the twin towers to reach earth at freefall acceleration from the height they were at, in just under 10 seconds. Thus, by deductive reasoning, the only possible explanation, to allow this to happen, is if the 50,000 tonnes of steel and concrete of floors 1~90 must have been intentionally demolished and pulverized in a controlled demolition by either extremely potent explosives or by some sort of high energy weapon, that basically disintegrated the 50,000 tonnes of steel and concrete of floors 1~90, which would then allow the top portions of the twin towers to reach earth at freefall acceleration, from the height they were at, in just under 10 seconds. The exact same phenomenon is the only logical explanation that would explain the collapse of WTC 7, i.e. a controlled demolition of building WTC 7, which also collapsed at freefall acceleration, even though it was never hit by an airplane.

I have long held doubts in private about the collapse of the World Trade Center Towers since I first witnessed it on TV in '01. I was given Mr. Gage's video by a friend and was relieved that I'm not the only professional who feels this way. In my profession, everything you do is calculated to the Nth degree. Everything is precise. Everything is over-engineered for future expansion and controlled for safety. I have built many installations that have met UL, C-UL, CSA, CE, and NFPA standards. Many things I have built have been inspected by federal, state, and local governments. I am very doubtful that the collapse of building 7 was accidental. I have held the belief from day one that the World Trade Center buildings did not implode because of the impact of an airplane. I had watched movies of the remarkable construction of the buildings prior to the attack of 911. To say that the collapse of the towers was due to internal structural failure is a slap in the face of every individual who designed, built, inspected, and approved these structures. That includes federal, state, and local approving bodies. This also includes all standard policy bodies such as UL and NFPA. If I worked for one of these agencies, I would be worried about a law suit.

Received my B.S. Degree in Civil Engineering from Boise State in May of 2009 with an emphasis in Structural and Geo technical Engineering. I am currently working on my M.S. I have concerns about how the buildings collapsed in the manner that they did given the circumstances. I believe that a structural failure of that magnitude should be given much more investigation and inquiry then it received before a conclusion was made by the commission. It takes a basic understanding of high school physics to understand that twos building designed to take multiple hits from a Boeing 707 and continue to stand will be able to take a single hit from a Boeing 767, and remain standing. They will not fall straight down, at near free fall speeds minutes apart. Also two building struck at different locations will not fall in exactly the same way.

My main concern here is the lack of analysis performed in the Official 9/11 Commission Report, and glaring omissions such as the collapse of 7 WTC. The Commission claimed that 1 WTC collapsed in a pancake fashion (p. 308) and that 2 WTC fell in ten seconds and collapsed into itself (p.305). Given that free fall speed for the buildings would be around 9.2 seconds, and that the law of conservation of energy would prohibit such a rapid collapse under the pancake theory, the lack of scientific evidence and analysis leaves much to be desired. Furthermore, research on the WTC dust yielded highly advanced nano-thermitic compounds, indicating the true cause of collapse of the three WTC buildings was indeed through the use of explosives (Active Thermitic Material Discovered from the 9/11 World Trade Center Catastrophe. The Open Chemical Physics Journal, 2009). That finding supports the mechanics of collapse observed, including the coincidentally high degree of symmetry, lack of rotation or bending of the upper sections of the North and South Towers above the plane impact zones during collapse, and of course the speed at which they fell. This and video evidence of sequential explosions during the towers' destruction indicate that the twin towers were brought down by systematic controlled demolition. The nature of fall and lack of structural damage to 7 WTC also indicates an organized, deliberate demolition occurred here. There is more than enough scientific evidence to cause for demand of an independent investigation of the nature of the events on 9/11/01 and an unbiased diligent effort applied into discovering who was involved.

I have serious doubts about the cause of collapse of WTC 1 and WTC 2, as well as WTC 7. The indications are that they came down in a controlled-collapse manner, and this casts a dark shadow over the official published story. I have worked on projects involving controlled demolitions of decommissioned air traffic control towers. My opinion is that the twin towers and building 7 were brought down by controlled demolition, contrary to the official story.

I am the Safety and Quality Officer for REC Solar, Inc., a solar electric system integrator of residential, commercial, and federal government projects. The only active engineering I do is field engineer when going out to sites, review designs for some of our large commercial projects, or reverse engineer systems when we get quality issues to determine root causes so corrective actions can be made and sent out to the teams.
It is Sunday night, 10:31pm as I write this sentence. I just finished watching the truth about 911 video and I am very happy that there is an organization out there that is supporting finding the truth to truly hold accountable those who destroyed and killed thousands of people that day in the area of the World Trade Centers and WTC 7 building collapse. Every part of my physical and mental state of being to this point in time from all my field and academic experiences believes the evidence that was presented in the video presentation and I want and will support the cause for the truth. There are too many complacent people in the USA who want to go about struggling, living miserable existences, paycheck to paycheck, and complaining about a country that doesn't do enough for them and just not do anything about it. Mainly because they do not realize that they have been brain-washed by the media propaganda of consumerism due to the mass amounts of commercial advertising that is viewed either driving down the street, listening to the radio or seen during the countless hours of t.v watching that most Americans do. That is not me! I want to be part of the movement that stands up for what is right and true. I believe that the evidence presented in the video that I watched today has very serious implications of possibly our government and some of the biggest Corporate America companies creating the disaster that occurred to further propagate the fear that weaves itself through the American culture. This fear allows complacency, consumerism, and control for certain government official and corporate leaders to continue to gain more as the mass population gains less. That is all I have at this time.

As far as being licensed, I do possess E.I.T. certification. At the time of the catastrophe, I did wonder why neither the USACOE nor the ASCE did not demand to investigate the site and take tests and samples, etc.., this being an unprecedented case for study in the field of Civil Engineering.
For starters, why weren't there 100+ slabs of steel reinforced concrete flooring piled one on top of the other in the rubble? How were over 100+ steel reinforced concrete floors in both towers I and II pulverized to dust within minutes? Just asking? For starters.

I appeal to the lay person's common sense and day-to-day experience of how our physical world functions. Most people have seen footage of controlled demolitions; they are reminiscent of the behavior of the falling WTC structures. There are some serious unanswered questions in this regard. In addition, as a materials engineer, I know that steel and reinforced concrete buildings do not 'collapse' in the range of temperatures and time of exposure experienced by the WTC structures. I find the official explanation unsatisfactory and patronizing.

I sat riveted for over two and 1/2 hours listening and watching the presentation by Mr. Richard Gage, AIA. The concise information on the twin towers and especially building 7, caused me to reevaluate the 911 Commission report. Unfortunately, that conclusion caused me to be quite concerned at the direction that the thought process then takes you. At the very least, the disaster must be investigated with new eyes on the nature and causes of the building loss and the loss of life. Who or what is responsible? How could it have been done? What part did the planes really have in the collapse? I don't know but would like more answers.

WTC 7 was not struck by aircraft, was quite a distance from the falling towers, from photos and video did not seem damaged or extensively on fire yet collapsed in what appears to be a controlled, engineered, pre-planned demolition. This building is the only steel framed skyscraper to ever collapse from fire. A very through investigation should have been performed, instead all steel was controlled and recycled immediately, an act of criminal destruction of evidence. The twin towers collapse is also suspect. Eyewitnesses reporting explosions before the collapse. Also the damaged structure at and above the impact zone should not have been able to collapse the remaining undamaged structure, especially the massively strong central core. The core and outer walls supported the weight of the upper structure, it would have been able to resist the dynamic force of the upper structure falling. There can not be more energy generated dynamically from falling than is present in the potential energy from standing, height x gravity x mass. If the lower supporting structure had been able to support the upper floors for thirty years plus a commercial airliner impact, it would have resisted the dynamic energy because they are the same and the weight of the upper structure has been removed from the lower, that's the only way the upper can fall. Therefore in a non-controlled collapse the top section would have remained in place or fallen and broken into many small pieces and fallen off the sides of the remaining non damaged structure. If the floors had pancaked the central core would have remained standing. The only way the collapses can occur as they did is if the central core was destroyed by controlled explosions. The central cores were systematically blown and ripped down the rest of the buildings from the inside. Again all evidence was destroyed by remelting the steel. The event known as 911 was in my opinion a combination of an external government and some members of the US Fed government conspiring to produce a domestic terrorism event (false flag) to launch the global war on terrorism resulting in the invasions of Afghanistan and Iraq, the patriot act, the tapping of every piece of voice, e-mail, data communications in the world, Dept of homeland security, increase in oil prices and massive military / domestic police force spending all on the backs of the supposedly terrified US taxpayer. It is and will remain the single most important event in the history of this country.

I am really impressed (and horrified) as to the masterful and deceitful demolition job that was done on the World Trade Center Complex Bldgs. 1,2,&7, especially 7, and their ability to pass this off on the majority. Superthermite, thermate, nanoparticles, remote-controlled airliners, multiple explosions/ejections in and from the buildings prior to collapse and during their non-impeded free-fall---all paid for with our tax dollars! I have viewed Bldg. 7 collapsing at least 50 times-ABSOLUTELY NO WAY WAS THIS POSSIBLE ON ITS OWN!!!! Classic and rather obvious controlled sequential demolition. They really do think we're stupid.

I am a 2003 graduate of Massachusetts Maritime Academy in Buzzard's Bay Mass. I graduated magna cum laude and have always excelled in the sciences including math. Professionally I have been employeed in the facilities maintenance and engineering field in the Boston area since 2003.
It seems to me that having three unprecedented collapses of ruggedly built steel buildings in one day is grounds for a complete and open investigation. Steel building have NEVER collapsed this way in the past nor in the time since 911 the world over. The extreme rate of fall of WT 1,2, and 7 seems to indicate that the support columns of all there buildings were compromised by a force other than fire. Video of the day shows unexplained rapid ejections of materials well below the main part of the failing structures. The videos quite possibly show evidence of controlled demolition. Sadly the video is all we have to work with at this point since all of the physical evidence was illegally hauled away and melted down.

Earlier in my career, I have worked for a City government for 3 years and two different industries. For the last 34 years, I am engaged in my own Engineering firm. Even though my degree and my specialty is electrical, most of my work and income relates to the structural discipline (within expertise limits -- i.e., no high rises, schools, parking structures, etc.) I've worked with and can deal with all materials: soils, wood, masonry, reinf. concrete, steel, aluminum. I've even done forensics; 1 elect., 2 struct.
Well, I haven't read the official report. But I have watched many of the conspiracy theory videos. Also, I distinctly remember, nearly 9 years ago on the news report(s), the symmetrical collapse of BOTH towers, then the very underplayed (by comparison to the towers) PERFECTLY SYMMETRICAL collapse of Building 7. I thought at the time of controlled demolition and, by extension, an inside job. The gov's intent is to move on, but too many unresolved issues deserve proper focus, before all die.

Watching the towers reduced to neat piles of rubble on TV that day, what I saw did not fit with what I was being told. By the time I emerged from a state of shock a couple of weeks later, the evidence had been eliminated. Mr. Gage's presentation fits precisely with the empirical evidence and my materials experience. I feel relief from cognitive dissonance when I face the fact that those collapses could not have been caused by the jets crashed into those towers, no matter how much fuel was aboard.

"Building 2, the second building hit and the first to ""collapse"" was hit two thirds of the way up. It breaks off at the impact point and a photo shows it leaning over at 20 degrees. The pile driver effect is gone at that point. The top third of the building is no longer pressing down on the bottom two thirds. No load = no buckling. Imagine a tree in the woods being struck by lightning two thirds of the way up. The top third breaks off and falls over. Then, starting at the top of the remaining ""stump"" which is two thirds the height of the original tree, a wave of destruction starts and goes down at near freefall, spewing out wood chips and sawdust. Where did all this this energy come from?"

I have 20 years post graduate experience as a structural engineer working in the offshore oil and gas, and laterally, renewable energy sectors. I have been running my own consultancy company for the last 10 years providing structural engineering services to offshore wind, wave and tidal energy projects.
The collapses of the towers appear to happen in a symmetric fashion at free fall velocity - indicating the use of demolition. Molten metal in the basement and columns sliced neatly at 45 degrees indicates the use of thermite. The collapse of Building 7 is particularly suspicious given that it was only hit by falling debris - and if was going to collapse at all - it certainly would not have been symmetrical - nor complete.Fire endurance tests with actual models failed to cause collapse. The NIST structural simulations - are not full simulations from the moment of impact to final collapse and the failure mechanisms seem to have been manually adjusted rather than relying on the pure physics capabilities of the software. The pulling forces on the perimeter columns by the sagging floors were adjusted' (NIST, 2005, p. 142) to cause yielding. A full and proper non-partisan peer reviewed set of analysis simulations has yet to be carried out. I suspect proper simulation will verify the physical model test results i.e. the buildings would not have collapsed due to aircraft impact alone.

The background of Robert Sogge is unique in that they include training, teaching, research and practical consulting in the specific area of soil-structure interaction. Specifically he has made significant contributions in the areas of anchored sheet piles, laterally loaded piles, reinforced mat foundations systems, and buried arch culverts. His thin-arch designs have been verified by full-scale HITEC tests on a 28 ft span structure. With partners he founded a design-build company to construct such structures.
As to the 'conspiracy' theory, I don't get into it ' instead, I look at the failure of just Bldg #7 that came down at 5:23 pm after only being hit by a small 40 ft by 40 ft section of steel beam. The building constructed of steel came tumbling down. I, as a designing Civil Engineer, would not want to design with such a material if that were the case. So it is said to have failed by 'progressive failure'. Where is the research, conferences and study on this topic. Where is AISC in defending their product as they always used to do in comparisons to concrete structures? Where are our professional groups like ASCE on this topic? I notice that ASCE sponsored a 'paper' on the Pentagon Bldg failure ' but the study was a joke in that concrete walls were replaced by columns in the analysis. When the Teton Dam failed in the late 70's, the cause of the failure was investigated. The failure generated much research and subsequent conferences on Hydraulic Fracturing ' the culprit. Thank you for finally creating a voice for those of us who would like to correct the facts for the public and preserve the profession we work in and love.

I was born in Kamas Valley Utah, grew up on a farm near Lava Hot Springs Idaho in a large family. Then served two years as a missionary in Finland, got my higher education at Ricks College, and then went on to get the degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology at Arizona State University in 1980. I took a job with the Boeing Company primarily as weight & balance engineer on the hydrofoil program with some time on airplanes and electronics (7 years total) before I became disabled by chemical sensitivities from an indeterminate combination of cigarette smoke, carpet out-gassing, solvents, synthetic perfumes, etc. at work, on the road, and in our mobile home. Thus, I moved back to the mountains where I am isolated from most normal social interaction, so the internet is a huge boon for me, since I have a positive ventilation system set up to exhaust my computer equipment to protect myself.
I had studied the previous incidents of Oklahoma Murrah building, the Waco massacre, Tonkin Gulf, Pearl Harbor, etc. so was prepared enough to recognize immediately when I saw on Fox satellite news that the towers went down on the morning of 9-11, that they were taken down by pre-planted explosives'the little bit of video they show made it blazingly obvious. And just as divulged by the news, it was a New Pearl Harbor event' but I knew few Americans comprehended the full meaning of that admission. We also heard later that day of the other building that collapsed. I am fortunate in having a wife who is likewise aware. I told all I knew my view, but most thought it impossible' or rather did not want to face what was obvious from the evidence. I heard fairly early of the molten metal in the basements and couldn't help suspect nuclear involvement, so was very interested when Steven E. Jones found thermite and then super-thermite. I cringed at his involvement as co-chair of the 911 website with Fetzer.

Considering the design and method of failure of the world trade center buildings and the evidence of the damage and debris from the building collapses it is clear that these structures underwent a high energy failure mechanism that cannot be attributed to a localized structural instability or heat induced by one or more collisions with a jet aircraft and the ensuing fires. As a concerned citizen I believe a full, complete and open investigation of the failures and the evidence of the twin towers, and world trade center 7 building collapse is vital and necessary to the security of the nation.

I remember thinking, as I watched building 7 fall, that there was something strange. Those few small fires brought a building down so perfectly? A couple years ago, I was lying awake in bed, surfing the TV stations. I happened upon Loose Change being played on a local cable access channel. That sent me off into a fury of research into 9/11. In my mind, there is NO POSSIBLE WAY the building fell because of the plane impact/fire. Building 7's collapse explanation is so ridiculous I don't even know what to make of it. I hope that I can see some bit of truth and justice come to light in my lifetime.
