On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

There are definite questions from a physics aspect and of certain elements that should be questioned. True investigation, like design, should not count out any possibilities and claims should be refuted by scientific fact. There are many claims in the NIST report that do not add up and should be evaluated. Even the 'debunking' released by Popular Mechanics have weak explanations that are not based on evidence of photos, scientific study, 3D modeling and so forth. For example, a building designed to withstand horizontal force and fires for hours leading to a complete collapse does not add up. These 3 buildings would be the first buildings in history to ever completely collapse to rubble from a multi-story fire. If this is the case, then NFPA and all other fire-protecting standards would need to be greatly revised to even allow for any new high-rise construction or else we are all performing malpractice.

As an Fire Alarm Professional employed by ADT I frequently visited their HQ at the WTC in the mid 1980s. I witnessed, first hand, the lack of horizontal fire suppression (vertical risers were installed) and the sub standard building life safety conditions that were allowed by the NYS Port Authority. These defficiencies may not have contributed the collapse but might have saved many lives had they been installed. There are many unanswered questions that need to be researched and reported. When 9/11 happened, I was attending Regis Jesuit High School in Aurora, CO. I believe that this event is crucial in understanding what's going on, and what has been going on, both domestically here in the United States, but also geo-politically. The 'How' is easily sussed out by fellow engineers, especially structural and civil engineers, so the next two questions we need to be asking ourselves are 'Who?' and 'Why?', and it's my contention that these last two are inextricably linked, i.e. 9/11 was part of an overarching agenda that spans not only the Western world, but the entire globe. Basically, once you understand the 'Who', you'll understand 'Why'. So many have died, including those 3000 innocent souls, as a result of this most egregious terrorist attack. It was trauma on a macroscopic scale. When a person's mind is in that traumatic state of suspension, it is much more susceptible to the various suggestion and/or injunction delivered by the mainstream media who are either (a)complicit in this cover-up or (b)completely ignorant. I for one have more faith in the average human being's intelligence so have to, unfortunately, side with the former.

The first thing I point out to people who ask me about it is the resistance paradox. The WTC towers' top portions fell through the steel and concrete of the lower portions about as fast as pieces from them were falling through the adjacent air. Assuming a collapse, this would indicate the lower portions provided little more resistance to the tops than air would. Yet the top portions disintegrated while falling, which assuming a collapse would indicate the lower portions offered very high resistance. This is an irresolvable paradox, material cannot simultaneously present high and low resistance. Demolition on the other hand explain both phenomena. There are many aspects of the events which to me indicate demolition. The points presented on this site about both the main towers and WTC7 are excellent.

I have a masters in special education. I worked at a center for adult mentally disabled people and after my education I taught special education in a high school for 30 years. I was also the president of our teacher's union for a number of years. I had to figure out ways that my students could accomplish everyday activities given each individuals strengths and weaknesses. I also had to convince parents that it was important to allow their handicapped teenagers to do functional things as home such as make their own lunch, order their own food at restaurants, deposit their own money in the bank. This involved much creative thinking for each student and some powers of persuasion to convince the parents of the worth in allowing them to grow up and not be treated as eternal 3 year olds. It was a satisfying and worthwhile endeavor.
I knew within a day that there was something horribly wrong with the story about how the towers came down. One floor falling on the one below it does not produce enough energy to turn concrete to dust and blow it out sideways without an accelerant, period! European architects complained mightily afterwards. The government wanted to go to war in the middle east, shock and awe I believe was a term related to what they wanted to do. Well, the government shock and awed the American public to make that easy to do and help out a buddy or two that had expensive repairs coming up for buildings that must have seemed out of reach. Anyway, much of the world figured this out before much of the American public did. It was a tough pill to swallow that our own government did this.

I observed the television reporting on the planes hitting the Twin Towers. I noted that WTC 7 came down in the late afternoon. I like facts. I am not an engineer, but reading the sensible and reasonable materials regarding 9/11 it is clear to me that explosives were used to bring down the Twin Towers.

It is impossible that the destruction of the WTC happened without the slightest knowledge of US government circles. It is not possible for buildings to collapse at the free fall acceleration.
