To the Members of the House of Representatives and of the Senate of the United States of America,
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

The towers were designed to be hit by fully loaded jets. Would the designers be so negligent as to forget that those jets would be loaded out with fuel? Why have other steel skyscrapers burned, some over a dozen stories for hours and not collapsed? Why did the towers fall at free-fall speed? Why were the steel remains of the columns at bedrock melted?

I have worked as an engineer for 5 years in Australia's mining & energy sector in environmental and chemical engineering type roles. My work has expanded the entire asset life cycle of QLD's CSG/LNG upstream project work in the Surat basin. That includes: Environmental Impact Statements (EIS), stormwater assessments, council permit applications & surveying through to construction work, rehabilitation, erosion & sediment control, soil assessments, liaising with all stakeholders including government departments with respect to environmental conditions and legislative requirements, on to final process engineering and commissioning work to bring gas infrastructure online mitigating all environmental, production, and safety risks.

From the moment I saw the towers fall I could not believe that the impact from a plane could cause those towers to fall straight down as they did. Being involved in the metal fabrication industry it was impossible for those towers to free fall as they did with little to no resistance. It was a perfect demolition job and not a result of pancaking floors - the building fell straight down as if the structural steel frame holding it all together was completely compromised. I am shocked that it has taken this long for the truth of what actually happened to begin to surface.

I spent approximately 15 years performing structural design and field engineering in the petrochemical, nuclear, mining, power, microelectronics, and food processing industries. Subsequently, I managed facilities and environmental projects, programs, and a 60 -70 person office of a major consulting firm. I am currently semi-retired, working part-time from home.
I read the 911 Commission Report to confirm what I had heard: that this report did not even mention the collapse of World Trade Center Tower #7. This is true. To me, this report seems very superficial. I question the official version for the reasons of the collapse of the 3 towers because of their symmetrical collapse from non-symmetrical damage and that tower 7 collapsed at all. Tower 7 was not impacted by a plane, had non-symmetrical fires burning, and collapsed some 7 hours later.

I am a corrosion specialist and have worked in the Middle East for over 10 years, most of it being in Yemen. Right now I am in Dubai working with an Austrian Oil Company, OMV. We just recently had one of our colleagues killed at the office in Sana'a. Since then the office has been closed. The violence in the Middle East stems from deception of governments, with USA being the leader. We need to fix this.

Tall slim buildings bear high side wind loads in hurricanes, so they are inherently designed and built to sustain a multiple of their own weight at the columns. The top parts were weaker structures than the bottom section of the building. Top would have certainly destroyed itself at the first hammer blow to the much stronger and intact core columns. It is SCIENTIFICALLY IMPOSSIBLE that those buildings could have collapsed so fast and so perfectly vertically without something quickly kicking and removing the column joints from underneath; especially the core columns. We should have seen and heard a hammer blow, collapse of the top part on itself, and then a side slide of the top section, with the bottom part staying put. Instead, we saw the top perfectly intact dropping through a cloud of air filled with dust. Not only did 3000 innocents perish inside the rubble, but this country sent its boys to war on three more countries with hundreds of thousands more innocents dead and maimed because what really happened was hidden from Americans. The climate of shock and fear stopped rational thinking and made people believe convenient lies rather than face the difficult truth. It is the patriotic duty of the nation's educated and professionals to arouse and illuminate the public awareness into seeking THE TRUTH.

During the 1960s I studied construction technology at IUPUI in Indianapolis. I obtained a BFA from Herron School of Art in 1974. I became a licensed architect in the state of Indiana through the grandfather clause in 1977. During my career I taught construction technology at IUPUI, Ivy Tech, and Vincennes Universities. I worked for medium to large architectural firms on projects of varying sizes, both residential and commercial. I established a private practice specializing in residential and small commercial projects. I became LEED accredited in 2005. Throughout my architectural carrier, I have produced artwork based on Chaos Theory and Fractal Geometry.
It is obvious that the WTC buildings were brought down by controlled demolition. This fact has huge consequences for our nation and the world. We are at a crossroads. How we come down on the two sides of this issue will bear heavily on the direction of humanity's future. At the here and now, we must find the courage and perseverance to uncover and confront the truth wherever it may lead. Only then can we begin the work of fashioning a better world. I am proud of our profession for taking the lead on this issue. Our expertise, our ability to reason and present complicated concepts, our integrity and professional restraint are precisely the qualities needed. At this moment in time, we are the ones.

My knowledge of engineering principles tells me that the goverment's explanation for the collapse of WTC 1, 2 and 7 is inconsistent with the observed speed and symmetry of the collapse of those buildings. If the government's explanation was valid it should have significant implications for building codes and the way we design and build high rise buildings. Yet virtually no changes have occurred in structural engineering codes since 9/11/01. I am upset that an NFPA 921 investigation was never done on these three buildings, nor a proper forensic investigation of the structural components of these three buildings.

With my working knowledge of physics, I know a steel structure, namely Bldg 7, cannot fall at free fall or close to free fall speed, indicating no resistance, without the use of explosives in a controlled demolition. Also, I have seen video of molton steel dripping from Bldg's 1 and 2 which indicates to me the use of thermite or even nano-thermite, military grade. Also, the angle of the steel columns indicate 'cutting' which occurs with controlled demolition and thermite. Also, the owner of Bldg 7, I believe within a week of the demolition, bought insurance on the building, and was seen on TV explaining there was a decision to pull the building. There is no way the official 9/11 Commission report is correct in it's findings, when they did not even use the scientific method in their research and look at this simple evidence.

Graduating with a Mechanical Engineering degree from the University of Colorado, I practiced my profession for 22 years at which point I returned to obtain a BA in Math as well as a license to teach secondary math.
Whatever one might think about what brought about the destruction of the Towers, Building 7 falls outside any logical conclusion.
