PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

I'd like to know the truth about the 9/11 tragedy, what really transpired within, who shall be responsible for the lives lost, and when will the truth come out? Based on some technical and scientific analysts I've searched and seen on the net (testimonies and videos), it seems that the 9/11 tragedy was planned and executed almost perfectly (before, during, and after). This is evidently shown on the collapse (demolition) of Building 7 and mysterious flight 77 which allegedly hit and damaged the Pentagon. I believe everyone deserves to know the truth.

There seems to be a disconnect between the outcome and the cause of the tower's destruction. The more the so-called experts, including the NIST engineers, tried to explain it, the murkier it got. If you accept this official explanation like that, then you have to consider that the Newton Apple is not falling to the ground but is going up towards the sky! These 2 points have to be explained by any serious study. And the official explanations don't explain this because it cannot be explained without that added source of energy...

I began a professional career in Silicon Valley in '83 working in the hi-rel IC industry. I have worked in a variety of high tech companies in the Bay Area and have broad experience in technical, marketing, communications and business development.
I just happened to be up working in the early a.m. PST when events started to unfold in NY, and so was able to see all the coverage from the start. What I saw seemed as though a staged production, although certainly a sinister and incredibly tragic one. The eventual collapse of WTC 1&2 seemed completely implausible due to plane crashes and fire damage. As it has turned out, the evidence now shows this to be the case. Even though the media appeared to have no shortage of experts with ready explanations, I was not satisfied with these official stories. My independent research over many years eventually lead me to the understanding of how these towers actually did collapse so catastrophically and disasterously.

As thoroughly explained by Steve Jones and Richard Gage, the free-fall symmetrical collapse of the 3 WTC buildings on September 11, 2001 cannot physically be caused by fire alone. The law of conservation of momentum demands that the lower floors be blown out in advance from the path of the falling upper floors, so that their inertia does not slow down their fall. This can easily be proven using simple high school physics. An engineering degree, architectural degree or Ph.D. is not required to understand this.

I graduated in 1986, worked in the aerospace/telecommunications industry as a production engineer, building countermeasures defense systems for the military until 1990. I then worked as a bicycle components designer and CNC machine shop manager in the early 90's. Following this, I spent 12 years as a custom furniture builder. I no longer am involved in engineering as a profession.
I originally (immediately after the attacks) thought that the official story of collapse made sense from an engineering standpoint. However, after spending countless hours reading reports, looking through comprehensive engineering analyses, studying the tower's design aspects, and seeing what a poor, non-technical report/explanation was produced by our government, there is no doubt that there needs to be a more thorough investigation into what happened. I received a BS in Civil Engineering from a four year accredited university in 1986. I became a licensed Civil Engineer in the State of California in 1991. I have worked in several fields of civil engineering including structural design.
The Official story does not appear to be supported by the evidence. It would appear much more likely that demolition brought down the twin towers and building 7 than the burning jet fuel. The fact that the floors and columns came down so fast and in the same footprint along with the chemical analysis of the molten metal indicate the buildings were very likely brought down by controlled demolition. A through investigation by independent engineers, architects, and explosives experts is necessary for the truth to be known about what actually happened on 9/11/2001.

I am a medical device engineer who analyzes failure. I have many years of engineering experience, and was long dismissive of the 9/11 truth movement, until I came to grips with the horrible, overwhelming evidence that it was indeed an inside job. I have studied materials, structural engineering and structures mechanics for 5 years in a leading engineering school in France.
I measured on one hand the duration of collapse of the towers ( t1 ) and calculated on the other hand the duration of fall of an object on a height equal to that of the towers ( t2 ). My result is that t1 < t2. I can explain it only by emitting at least the following 2 hypothesis: - floors set no resistance during the fall (this hypothesis alone would lead to the result t1=t2), - the fall of towers was accelerated by the existence of depressions create in the building during its fall.

It takes very little time to review existing evidence and become convinced that controlled demolition was involved. Early in my career I worked in the chemical industry. For the last nearly 20 years I have worked in aerospace. I am a member of the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics, as well as a member of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers.
In January 2004 I stumbled on a web site that showed evidence that the WTC buildings were brought down by controlled demolition on 9/11. It is clear that the buildings had help to bring them down. The collapses of WTC towers 1 and 2 were obviously far more energetic events than can be explained by some sort of progressive gravitational collapse initiated by a simple weakening of the structure by hydrocarbon fire. Here I am thinking of the tremendous dust clouds (pyroclastic flows) and the nearly free fall speed. Building 7, not hit by a plane, appears to have been a classic controlled demolition, and perfectly symmetrically executed.

There are hundreds of inconsistencies in the events. The most striking for me are the collapse of WTC 7 and the foreknowledge of the events. If the collapse of WTC 7 was totally unanticipated, then how many other buildings in the world are in danger of seven second complete collapse due to a few small fires? Foreknowledge includes Gulliani's interview where he states that he was informed that the first tower (south tower) was going to come down in 10 minutes. Additionally, there are the elevated levels of stock put options on United Airlines, American Airlines, and Boeing; Larry Silverstein's comments on pulling WTC 7; Silverstein not eating breakfast at the top of the north tower on that day which he did daily otherwise; and CNN and BBC's anouncing that WTC7 had collapsed 20 minutes before it did.

Real time observations on September 11, 2001 of the collapse of each of the twin towers, as provided by the national TV networks, led me to the same conclusion: controlled demolitions. Subsequent analysis, as found on the internet and in various publications released by non-government entities, have clearly demonstrated the validity of that conclusion for each of the three towers. The problem at hand is to achieve a government sponsored study that is truthful and fact based; education of the US population and electing a legislature that is reponsive to the US population is important though problematic.

Objects move through the path of least resistance. Towers 1 and 2 collapsed through the path of most resistance. Normally, you would expect the layers to fall with increasing eccentricity as the collapse progressed, rather than through the centreline where the greatest resistance is. NIST's cascade theory depends on mathematical modeling, and as with all complex models, numerous assumptions are needed to get the model to run. An independent review is needed to verify the reasonableness and plausibility of the factors included in the model which was used to support the cascade theory. We need to independently verify whether the NIST analysis was a case of shooting the arrow and then painting the bulls eye around it. Furthermore, films of the collapse of WTC7 show a very improbable event: the symmetrical collapse of a building that was impacted by the WTC 1&2 debris asymmetrically. Both ends of WTC7 should not have begun their collapse at the same moment if left to chance alone. The collapses of WTC 1, 2, and 7, purely from an engineering point of view, and leaving out any political theories or implications, do not make sense without the assistance of explosives or other devices or some other as-yet unimagined factor to remove resistance and control the collapse. I very much recommend that the engineers, whose duty it is to determine the causes of collapse, remain unswayed by speculations and fears about political implications, and make their assessments based on the physics and engineering alone. The claims made by NIST seem to require multiple leaps of faith in highly improbable events. Improbable things do indeed happen, but as all good skeptics know: Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence.

1) From a metals engineering perspective, my experience tells me that it is impossible for jet fuel to melt (liquefy) structural steel, yet there were rivers of glowing molten iron under ground zero for weeks after 9/11 as evidenced by eyewitness accounts and US Geological aerial thermographs. - - - - 2) Compounding the impossibility of fuel to melt steel is the massive heat sink of the huge central core weldments of the twin towers. However, these core structures are always left out of official discussions and computer generated simulations of these events. - - - - 3) The black smoke of the twin towers is evidence that the jet fuel fires inside were burning cool. Black smoke is an indication of an oxygen deprived fire - the towers were smoldering, not melting. Further evidence of the cool fires is radio records of NYC firefighters discussing how they only need two or three hoses to knock them out. - - - - 4) From a purely logical perspective, the official story does not make sense because of the events surrounding WTC 7 which was a full block away from the twin towers yet the buildings directly between it and the towers remained standing even though they were directly rained on by falling debris. WTC 7 was neither struck by an aircraft, nor significantly damaged by debris. - - - - 5) The following is a MUST SEE video: At just after 5pm EST, the BBC news had their NYC correspondent Jane Stanley in front of their studio window overlooking ground zero and reported that the Solomon Brothers Building (official name of WTC 7) had collapsed - when in fact it was standing like new in the background right behind her. How did they know about the collapse 20 minutes ahead of time? - - - - CONCLUSION: If someone knew of at least one of the collapses ahead of time and jet fuel was not the reason for the collapse, then there must be some other reason for that collapse. It logically follows that if this true explanation is being covered-up, it is probably the same explanation for all three buildings.

WTC tower 1, 2 and 7 could not have collapsed by fires the way we saw without extra auxiliaries as ieg. explosives. NIST could not have explained the collapses at all and it has left the official explanations to private persons who have failed too. The last attempt was done by Dr. Seffen from Cambridge University (UK) (http://www.exodus2006.com/911seffen.htm), but his paper can be debunked to be false.

I, as I hope many other colleagues in the architecture and engineering fields, am sick every time I think about the tragedy that occurred on 911. I want the truth, I want there to be an independent and transparent investigation of the crimes that were committed on 911. I want to bring people back to reality, back to thinking and start the discussion of what really happened on 911. I support all individuals who are courageously stepping forward and showing their patriotism by demanding the truth.
The 911 collapses were a sham and it pains me to think how so many Americans continue to act like sheep and never question what, although was a tragedy, was simply not possible via the forces of nature.

My professional experience with metals in high temperature environments convinced me that the three buildings could not have been demolished with jet fuel fires.

I'd like to see a new investigation by an independent, cross-disciplinary panel to openly and impartially examine the evidence and hypotheses regarding the causes of the 9/11 building collapses. I believe the U.S. government investigations to date are flawed and inadequate.

The official stories of WTC building collapses do not make any sense in the physical world I deal with daily as an engineer. I fully concur with Fourteen Points of Agreement with Official Government Reports on the World Trade Center Destruction submitted to the Open Civil Engineering Journal. Especially with NIST's statement regarding WTC 7 that Although the total diesel fuel on the premises contained massive potential energy, the best hypothesis has only a low probability of occurrence. Further research, investigation, and analysis are needed to resolve this issue. Indeed it does require further investigation and as an engineer I take this language to mean that there is no official theory that adequately explains the collapse of building 7 of it's own accord.

My firm, Andrassy Engineering, Ltd., and I have been engaged primarily in the design of erosion control structures on the Lake Erie shoreline for the last 14 years. Prior to that I worked in private and government positions, also in the coastal engineering field on the east and west coasts from 1987-1993. I have B.S. and M.E. degrees in Civil Engineering. I am a registered P.E. in OH, PA, and MI.
I am not a structural engineer by training or practice, nor does my practice concern the design of structural steel buildings. Nevertheless, having basic civil engineering coursework experience (steel and r/c design, etc..) and some structural framing design experience I have harbored deep doubts about the government's explanation for these collapses since the morning of 9/11. I recall expressing then how the buildings would remain intact, even given the severe damage they had experienced, never considering that the damage inflicted could cause collapse. There is power in numbers and there is further power in the prestige and integrity of the numerous engineers, architects, and scientists who have come forward and who may yet come forward to challenge the government's explanations or lack thereof. I suggest that there are powerful computer modeling and physical testing tools that are likely being employed and may yet be employed in concert with the photographic, video, and forensic evidence to investigate how these towers collapsed, political motivations aside. I believe it is very important that these questions be addressed and support efforts to do so and thank all those who have come forward and put much time and energy into the numerous and vigorous research efforts that have already been conducted.
