PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

After reviewing the data presented by the Architects & Engineers for 9/11 Truth Organization and through my independent assessment of the data I have reviewed, and based on my 40+ years of professional experience, I have concluded that it would be nearly impossible for any of the principal World Trade Center Towers to collapse in the manner or in the recorded time frame as a result of any fire or explosion caused solely by the impact of terrorist-guided aircraft alone. Braced steel frame buildings simply don't collapse in a symmetrical manner with a uniform plume of debris in 102 or 56 minutes respectively with modern structural design standards and state-of-the-art life-safety systems which must be continuously inspected by local building inspectors based on ever increasing performance standards centered on human survival.

I've actually done the math: an analysis of Building 7 collapse acceleration. The standard kinematic equations were used to compute the speed of the building collapse. Note that these equations don't take many 'real-life' factors into account, such as air resistance, friction, and temperature. They are used to compute a theoretical 'ideal case' for use in the lab. Known data: g = 32.2 ft/s^2 (acceleration of gravity) d = 610 ft (height of bldg 7) vi = initial velocity (zero since bldg was at rest) vf = final velocity (in a vacuum) t = 6.5 seconds (elapsed time of collapse of bldg 7, according to picture found here: http://buildingwhat.org/wptemp/wp-content/uploads/2010/08/wtc7_collapse.jpg). Mathematical symbols used below: / = division ^ = exponent (ie; ^2 means squared) ( ) = multiplication. EXERCISE: Find percent of bldg 7 acceleration compared to free fall. Final velocity (using 3rd equation above) after 6.5 seconds: vf = 0 + 32.2(6.5) = 209.3 ft/sec. Now we can use vf in the 4th equation to get the distance something would travel in a vacuum. If this is close to the actual bldg height, this means that bldg 7 fell quickly, with relatively little restriction, like a controlled demolition would. d = vi + vf/2(t)d = 0 + 209.3/2(6.5)d = 680.2 ft. The percent change between the bldg height and free fall height is: %change = old value ' new value/old value(100). %change = 680.2 ' 610/680.2(100). %change = 10.3%. SOLUTION: Building 7 fell at 100% - 10.3% = 89.7% of free fall acceleration. CONCLUSION: Building 7 fell at roughly 90% of free fall acceleration. Building 7's rapid, symmetrical collapse appears to involve controlled demolition and does not evidence the kind of gradual, organic fall that a failed column or two would be expected to cause (in a natural collapse one might expect a portion of the structure to sag, leaving one or both ends slumped inward but upright). The twin towers appear to be ripped apart and uniformly pulverized rather than simply falling due to failed upper floors slamming down. The dust plume is too pervasive and exceeds the expected amount of powderization that would likely occur in reinforced concrete flooring suffering a 'pancake' collapse. The temperature experienced at street level and in molten wreckage indicates a tremendous release of heat energy at a time when plane fuel fires had burned low.

The explanation for the Towers' collapse, and many other events from the government, are a complete fabrication, devoid of any sustaining evidence and in complete denial of the actual real physical evidence and eyewitness accounts. Instead of looking at the copious physical evidence they went with virtual computer models. You don't need 'make believe' computer models to identify explosive residues, don't need it to explain nano-particle thermite. In their 'magical' hands is just a tool to deflect from the obvious truth. Of all the incongruities of the government explanations is the sudden total collapse of Building 7 from some minor office fires. Only when the real truth is known of this 'Terrorist' attack will we have peace and love in this world. I worked as a Mechanical Designer for about 15 years designing small mechanisms (locks, cash register drawers, etc. and the tooling to produce them and then as a Systems Engineer for a manufacturing facility in Mexicali, Mexico (10 years), and finished my career as a Programmer Analyst/System Administrator for a multi-national corporation which made electrical components like switches, servo motors, gearing etc.(6 years). I have always had an interest in architecture and watched with interest the documentary put out by the group 'Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth' as I could never understand why Building 7 collapsed and additionally why all 3 buildings at the WTC collapsed straight down, similar to buildings that were purposely demolished with explosives. I also am wondering why there was no airplane debris at the Pentagon and the Penn. site where the last airliner went down. Having viewed the documentary I have come to view the government reports as suspect, and even lost some respect for our government itself. The only way to restore faith and trust is to have a truly independent investigation and find the absolute truth of the 9/11 events. This is important because so many secondary events have taken place because of the original 9/11 conclusions. Examples: We have given up some of our rights and fought extended wars because of the 9/11 conclusions. If these serious questions of concerned citizens and technical experts, and the serious resulting actions taken by the US government are not worthy of a second look at the 9/11 event then I cannot imagine whose running the government! Certainly nobody I would vote for. And last but not least, the final sad effect of the 9/11 events are the opportunities of the many lives lost, military or not, and money spent on the fight against the 'terrorists' who planned this attack, creating a deficit that threatens to overwhelm our country. I believe in order to expend the capital and human toll that we have spent these years since the 9/11 event, we should not now have ANY questions or doubts, by ANY group, technical or not.

Building 7 came down in near free fall, and both Towers 1 and 2 did as well. That is scientifically impossible from fire alone. Furthermore, the flight patterns of the airliners that day were too precise for amateur pilots to execute. Not to mention the complete stand down of NORAD to even attempt diversion.
