PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

I know complex systems, i.e the electrical grid, and the modes of dynamic response. Within the timeframes of these building collapses it an improbability approaching near zero that discrete components can fail symetrically. I have better odds winning the powerball lottery - three times in a row.Furthermore when systems fail energy release is asymmetrical because, well, something failed. All one has to do is watch movies like the latest Superman, Pacific Rim, or The Avengers to see how a building would collapse if catestrophically damaged on one side. It topples over, it does not fall straight down at free fall rate.

My experience relates to infrastructure design (hydrology, hydraulics, grading and earthwork). In addition, I have spent 3 years doing structural retrofitting of large warehouses in order to bring them up to code and increase their hurricane wind resistance.
I do not have enough experience to dissect and double check all of the original structural calculations of the towers. However I do thoroughly understand the laws of physics, building geometry, and materials of construction, and I agree with many other engineers' opinions that the towers would not fall the way they did from a single impact. I thoroughly believe that the towers came down due to controlled demolition.

The 2.25 seconds of WTC 7 free fall is one of much evidence of the intentional demolition. For his theory of gravitational progressive collapse, Bazant uses a value of free fall acceleration, which allows him to overestimate the kinetic energy available for the first ....missing jolt.... He plays down then the energy dissipated in plastic deformation of the poles using a model that buckling does not match the behavior of short columns and the AISC prescriptions, which recommended that the critical stresses of decline, be close to the poles compression resistance. This requirement does not allow poles to bend under a load of axial compression. Bazant's calculations are wrong. For the failure of the North Tower poles, it was necessary that all the poles reach 750 ' C. NIST simulations can be concluded that the steel did not reach these temperatures with office fires ...

I received my BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. I have spent the last 13 years working in the power electronics industry, working on both commercial and military contracts. I also spent 6 years in the active and reserve Army.
The official story defies the laws of physics in many ways. There was clearly insufficient caloric content in the fuel that the planes would have had on board to melt the steel structure. There is no historical precedent showing evidence for a steel structured building collapsing as a result of a fire, or a plane impact, much less falling at the speed of gravity, and falling straight down, with all of the floors reduced to rubble. The only known building collapses that bear any resemblance to this failure were those intentionally destroyed with explosives. Furthermore, building # 7 was not hit with a plane.

For the past 6 years since 9/11, my belief in the official media accounts of what happened to the WTC that day has been gradually but increasingly eroding down to disbelief. Yet, I have been willfully disregarding any 'conspiracy theories' that loudly and obnoxiously point fingers at the Presidency with more hatred than evidence (Bush has some power, but he is not omnipotent!). But, after stumbling upon this site, I find some of my colleagues have been quietly and steadfastly giving this issue a fair and rational assessment that I now think deserves my attention and support. Even though it may not be easy to see at first glance, it becomes quite obvious that the official story we have been told by the mainstream media about the nature of the collapses is a lie, once you look behind the curtain of mainstream media reports. ae911truth comprehensibly summarizes pretty much all scientific aspects of the truth, so I just want to focus on a few specific features of the collapses. There are major indications why all 3 buildings - the 2 trade centers and building 7 - could not have collapsed the way we were told by the official sources: - Unresisted, near free fall speed of all three buildings - Symmetric nature of all collapses - Pulverization of almost the entire building with a complete disintegration of the inner steel core structure Many trustworthy sources indicate that it is highly questionable if the fires had the capacity at all to weaken the central steel structure in the affected sections of the buildings. Let us still assume that the claim of the fires to have weakened the steel structure around the fires, which initiated the collapse, is correct and that a pancaking of the floors occurred as a result. For the following reasons this theory cannot explain the above mentioned characteristics: - The lower structures of the building, with the strong steel core in the middle, were entirely intact and should have generated SOME KIND of resistance for the falling upper sections. This would have resulted in a significant and measurable delay during the collapse. Yet, free fall speed is only possible if the entire supporting structure is simultaneously destructed. - The structure of the WTCs was such that the different floors were mounted between the outer wall mesh and the steel core. A pancaking of floors would not only have been much slower than free fall speed, but would have resulted in a partially remaining steel core structure, which very likely would have leaned to one side eventually and tilt, rather than simply disint

I use to work and go to school. Since 9/11 I find it challenging to do either. I spend most of my time doing research. I find it frustrating that I can't have a conversation with any of my friends or family. I don't expect anyone to blindly accept my views. They certainly have the right to their own opinion. But I really struggle with my patience when they tell me that they are correct and I'm wrong, knowing I'm the one who has done thousands of hours of research. And I will continue.
I always thought something just didn't sit right about the chain of events on September 11. I can clearly remember my thoughts on that day. Seeing as how that was by far the most significant day of my life, I just assumed It was confusion that I was experiencing. I can't tell you how reassuring it is to know there are others out there who feel the same. I still struggle with the idea that my smartest friends who pride themselves on their knowledge of physics just don't get something so obvious.

I have been in the building trades for 20 years. I started as a carpenter apprentice and worked my way quickly into management. I have been an inspector on state building projects for the last couple of years.
The evidence that has been presented to me leads me to believe that there are a lot of questions that still need to be answered. The near free fall speed that all 3 buildings came down at has not been explained for some reason. The destruction of the evidence also seems a bit odd. There should have been evidence collected and saved to prosecute all parties implicated in this terrorism. I don't believe that all parties have gone to trial. I am admittedly not an expert, however, the building 7 collapse is entirely suspicious. How in the world did this happen when the structure was not even struck? I have heard of a diesel tank fire, which should not have the capability of taking down the building. Besides, it fell into it's own footprint. This does not make sense.

You don't have to be smarter than a fifth grader to see that the damage at pentagon is not consistent with the damage at WTC. If you open the 911 Commission Report to pg 313 and get a magnifying glass out ,you can see the open book on a wooden stool,a computer monitor and WHITE walls that survived at the Pentagon impact site....and then you are suppose to believe that the same type of impact essentially melted steel buildings in NY.

Well since this is not a job search I can say I was in mechanical engineering in one major corporation for 28 years, starting as an apprentice draftsman program in 1956 working in the engineering dept. and in heavy shop assembly at 55 hours per week until apprenticeship completed in a year. Both drafting and designing heavy state of the art paper making machinery from pencil to Cad.
The chance that two towers side by side damaged by different collisions would fall directly into their own footprint without leaning any direction is preposterous and is like believing in the tooth fairy. Building 7 is another preposterous example.

The whole mess was cleaned up far too quickly for any impartial investigation to have taken place. This, in addition to technical evidence as put forth by disinterested engineers and the fact that Christianity and Islam have been at war for over a thousand years, is ample reason for American powers to settle in the Middle-East. And the only way that this would be possible would be by presenting a unprecedented threat to America. And the only threat to America that truly exists is America itself, and particularly the (well-concealed) fascistic powers that guide the country and aspects of the world by extension.

Born in 1978 in south Germany, had a childhood and a youth there, expelled from high school, became an engine mechanic/repair woman, studied 2 years mechanical engineering and is now studying process engineering in north Germany, is going to start her diploma thesis this year.
My doubts started when I got a roommate at the student's home who had a pilot license. I myself am very interested too in planes and piloting. We never talked about 9/11 but what he's told me was too much to believe anymore that this bunch of greenhorns could fly these planes this perfect. By this time I realized that in case of the Pentagon I have a hole in my memory of the exact size and shape of a 757: I've never seen any!! We are told to see a 757 that crashed in the Pentagon but I've never seen ANY pictures that verify this. There also seem to be very few witnesses of a 757 or this size of a plane, f.e. an Airbus A330, or any of that kind. For me this is hardly believable because at least 4 times a year I drive on the Highway 5 very close to Frankfurt Airport. Considering the WTC building 7 the question is: Why the HELL did it collapse? If that little of a fire was sufficient to bring the whole building down this is a reason to worry very very deeply about the safety of all of your American high-rise buildings. To be honest: There is an ordinary house very near to my mother's house, a house from the Weimar Republic when Germany was poor and they build almost with no cement, only with sand in the walls and wooden floors, that some years ago was completely on fire during half of a night (2 casualties). It still stands... It's inhabited again... To the Twin towers: A main question is: Why did they collapse the same way, the south tower first, although the south tower was hit over the edge? The official version talks about free hanging floors but others say that the Towers weren't build that way, they had a lot of columns inside. That means: There wasn't any investigation, there only was an embarrassment.
