To the Members of the House of Representatives and of the Senate of the United States of America,
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

I am college philosophy professor and long time member of 9/11 Truth Seattle. My specialty is the nature of religion, in particular as understood in cognitive terms. So I look at the human brain and the functions religion appears to serve. My conclusion is that religion (generically understood) is the brain's operating system. I did my PhD at Claremont and came to the 9/11 Truth Movement through reading Griffin's New Pearl Harbor. Since I knew him I knew that I had to take the book seriously. Since then I have been active, lectured, help produce events and written on 9/11. I have always been politically active. It is just the profound moral dimension of what 9/11 Truth is about demands a response -- or so I have argued in print. But it is true, I am a 9/11 activist against my will because I feel morally compelled to do something about the monstrous evil imperial America does.

I found the squib charges in WTC 7 to be irrefuatble evidence of controlled demolition. The implications, while disturbing, reveal more than ever a country without the ideals of Thomas Jefferson, and Benjaimin Franklin. I do think that an un-biased and thorough investigation of the collapse needs to be performed and taking into account all the evidence that has come to light by all of the various sources. While I would like my name to remain on your petition, I recommend for your own credibility and that of all of our names that less convincing and ambiguous aspects be eliminated from your arguments along with discussions of motive. I think consideration needs to be given to many possibilities as non-controlled collapses are nearly completely outside of human experience; whether architect, engineer, or even building demolition expert, none of us have an expectation of how forces at this scale and in these condition should behave. After spending a fair amount of web time investigating myself, I have seen a lot of real amateurish conspiracy mongers that are giving your cause a really bad name. While I believe your spokesman is the most credible I have seen, by keeping your arguments scientific and non-emotional you elevate your own position and improve chances for the end goal, a complete investigation into the collapses.

I know I am not an architect, but I do believe that with the given evidence it is apparent that more went on that day then we were made publicly aware of. I believe that our government may have taken part in this atrocity for its own personal gain, Its not the first time we have used a ruse to create public awareness of a false situation to cover up even bigger problems and lies.
I believe that the buildings did not undergo a straight gravitational collapse. I mean with the squibs, the debris radius, and also the projection of thousands of pounds of steel hitting buildings up to 600 feet away is startling. I have taught as a epistemology as a graduate student and have a son who is a fire fighter. It was my fire fighter son who started showed me video of the collapse of building seven and key facts relating to the melting point of steel.
No steel frame building has ever collapsed before in all of world history. I am enormously concerned that basic procedures for investigating a crime scene were not followed. It is untenable that the collapse of building seven at nearly free-fall speed was the result of fire damage and/or the impact of falling debris from the first two towers.

I am a young Christian man from southern Minnesota. As of 2009 I am currently enrolled in the auto mechanics technology program at Ridgewater College. Obviously there is nothing to debate about the official government reports - they are lies. Looking at the events that took place on 9/11 logically and scientifically explain the truth of how and why those three towers fell. Just from watching the 6.5 second clip of the towers falling indicates there where bombs planted on all three buildings, there was thermate use because of the molten steel pouring out of the sides of the buildings, the towers fell at a free fall speed, there were pieces of steel found hundreds of feet from the building - fire cannot do any of these things. I demand the REAL investigation be conducted.

The official explanation is obviously not suitable to stand as the whole truth about what happened to World Trade Center buildings 1, 2 and 7. World Trade Center 7 is especially suspect since it was the site of a fortified safety command facility that was made to withstand disasters including terrorist attacks, and it did not appear to sustain as much damage as other buildings which stayed standing while WTC collapsed in precisely the manner of a controlled demolition.
