PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

The fact that both towers collapsed in their footprints, without any toppling of the upper floors, clearly indicates controlled demolition as the cause of the buildings' collapse, rather than structural failure. In my opinion, the collapse of the south tower (WTC 2) illustrates this idea most clearly. The airplane which hit this tower entered the south wall, and wreckage can be seen in the videos exiting the east wall. As a result, one would expect the damage to be worse near the southeast corner of the building, and any structural collapse should have occurred first at this corner. This should have resulted in the upper floors toppling toward the southeast. However, videos of the building's collapse clearly show it failing in a more or less symmetrical manner. - - - - In contrast, the north tower (WTC 1) was hit by the first airplane in the north wall, at almost a perpendicular angle to the north wall. And yet, the upper floors of this building leaned toward the south as the building collapsed. - - - - Likewise, there are two failure phenomena which cannot be explained by the pancake collapse theory. First, video of the collapse of the north tower shows the upper floors (approx. 10 stories) toppling toward the south. Yet, instead of falling to the ground relatively intact (as they should have done with no structure supporting them from beneath at that point, and nothing pressing down on them from above), they mysteriously disintegrated in mid-air. What forces (other than explosives) could have caused this? - - - - Second, a video exists which shows part of the inner core of the north tower still standing prior to the south tower's collapse. And yet, with only minor debris falling on it from the south tower, the remaining core structure disintegrates. Unless the video is faked (and I have seen no evidence of this), what would have caused the remaining core structure to collapse?

Upward vertical debris usually is the result of charges going off late in the demolition, much like that visible in the videos taken of the world trade center.

I am British. My Bachelors degree is a 2.1 honours in biomedical science, my Masters degee is in Biosensors with a combined award in instrumentation and Analysis from UMIST in Manchester. I have read many articles and books and seen many videos on the 911 disaster, and see no way that so many coincidences could have occurred at one time. Impossible that the collapse of building 7 could have been caused by the fall of the twin towers - it was clearly a demolition job falling straight into its own footprint. Then, instead of careful inspection of the steel beam infrastructure - it was immediately sent to China! And Cheney just happened to take charge of NORAD that day and sent the planes that should have been scrambled to intercept the hijacked planes off on training maneuvers elsewhere. And how come members of the Bin Laden family living here were scooped up and sent home instead of held for questioning. Just a few oddities off the top of my head.

Even for me that I did not examine closely the collapse of the three buildings I must say that it was actually hard to believe that an airplane could take them down as it is being said. I remember when I saw the collapses on TV that its could have not possibly been due to the airplanes alone but with additional factors. There are a lot of questions about these incidents that have not been answered, and the fact that these are still deliberately stay unanswered despite a certain pressure, unfortunately gives mistrust feelings. Therefore I recommend a new deep investigation in order to get all the questions satisfactorily answered.

I have no experience with the structure of tall buildings. My work was in building and remodeling residential houses. I say 'was' because I'm retired.
I can only express my opinion, which is not 'evidence', so I'll just say that as a builder, I think it is impossible that these buildings were brought down by airplanes, as if the fire quickly melted the steel infrastructure, causing a freefall into their footprint all the way to the bottom. Don't get me started on the 'office fires' that were supposed to have brought down Building 7. Ridiculous. With 2 physics classes in High School I am no physics expert. But with 2 physics classes in High School I am not completely ignorant either. I am a Canadian qualified accountant and a Certified Fraud Examiner. I have had public accounting and audit experience in the UK, Iran and Canada. It took me some two days to figure out that the 9/11 caper was a fraud purely based on instincts. I did not have any proof but came to the right conclusion purely on common sense. This delay, plus the towers falling at free fall speed and above all the fact that 19 Arabs were immediately blamed sounded too convenient. This 9/11 caper is not only fraudulent but the biggest farce of the twenty first century. How can the American people be so gullible? Have they lost their power to think and rationalize events? The truth will come out one day. I just hope sooner than later and then watch what happens? Israel will pay a very heavy price for what it did to the American people on that day.
