To the Members of the House of Representatives and of the Senate of the United States of America,
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

The way the WTC1 and WTC2 steel-towers collapsed, after burning less than 1 hour, simply cannot be explained by the oxygen starved office fires which were the result of the plane impacts. Especially after the kerosine had all burned off. The buildings disintegrated at almost free-fall speed. The part of the towers below the impact zones, which should have been completely intact and strong, did not provide any resistance in the symmetrical freefall collapse of the buildings. The limited pile of rubble remaining is not consistent with a 450 meter tall towers. The symmetrical nature and freefall speed during the collapse of WTC7 is even more puzzling as no plane ever hit that building.

While a Firefighter and a Paramedic I saw numerous buildings collapse. none were steel frame. I was at the Philadelphia Meridian Fire in 1991. 3 of my fellow Firefighters died in that building. 2 of whom I personally knew. While I did not know the third Firefighter, he was my brother. Saddened to the core by the loss of 3 Firefighters? I cannot imagine losing 343 as did my FDNY brothers did on 9/11. As a former Firefighter I can assure you that no one, not one, of the Firefighters present at the Meridian Building fire thought that building was going to collapse. Falling debris from the engulfed floors was a worry, but not the building coming down. I can also assure you that those FDNY Firefighters didn't ever in their wildest imaginations imagine those towers coming down. Brave men and women, but not kamikazes or suicidal. They knew the buildings were not coming down due to fire. Initial command post was in the lobby of the first tower struck. Obviously they saw the damage in the lobby, but the reason for that could be ascertained later. The job at hand was to rescue people and put out the fire. Some of the brightest and most educated Firefighters set up that command post. They are promoted after written testing and verbal scenario knowledge to Fire Chief. In fact there was one Chief on the 78th floor who radioed that he needed 2 hoselines to put out the fire. That tells me that rescue was no longer needed at his level of the building and it also tells me that the fires were not all that great. That Chief and 342 other Firefighters did not know that they were set up to die. I will admit that when I witnessed the towers collapse on 9/11 (on TV), I was in a funk as to why they collapsed. Believe it or not, I attributed the collapses to how perfectly the Architects planned and constructed those towers. As if the perfect collapse was also their design

My father was a ground zero survivor on 9/11. I was previously a fire department service member, and I worked at ground zero during the freedom tower construction project in 2009. I have a bachelors in fire protection engineering, so I have more knowledge on this topic that the common man. I'm currently in pursuit of my PE in the same field. I now work as a government contractor to safeguard their facilities (nuclear power plants, VA medical centers, EPA laboratories) from fires and other disasters.
If a building is designed to withstand a plane impact, then it will. I have too much respect for the engineering field to argue that fact. Fire does not cause structural failure of that magnitude. Maybe a fire will cause a wooden shed to fall, but not a skyscraper at free fall speed. An asymmetrical structural failure (as the NIST report states for WTC 7), cannot cause a symmetrical collapse. The building would have tipped over.

My technical experience has been in IT as well as civil design. After graduating from Vanderbilt in 1999, I found myself working NYC a few blocks from the WTC. After the tragedy, I moved to FL and started doing civil design work.
There are 2 things that bother me about 9/11. The first is the fact that I bore witness to in the path train station under the two towers. I took the path train in that morning and arrived around the time the first plane hit the north tower. There was smoke in the station. How did it get there? The station was at least 4 to 5 levels below ground level. The second is building 7. It is physically impossible for a building to fall at free fall speed without some sort of assistance. This means that something must have been in the building to remove the objects from below the falling debris. This needs further investigation and the 9/11 commission failed to address this issue in their report.

I watched the 911 event on television. Although I didn't see the first airplane strike the first tower, I did watch the second plane strike the second tower and then all the other events at the Pentagon. I wasn't aware of Bldg. 7 until later. At the time, I couldn't believe what I saw, and knowing what I know about steel building structures and airplane airframes and skins, I knew that the building shredded the plane like French fries and as to the weight of the plane, I knew that that would not be a problem. So when the building came down I was speechless. I think I said, 'No, that can't happen', but it did. When I became aware of Building 7, I joined this group of A & E''s. Building 7 came down in a controlled demolishing fashion, it was so obvious. I have been watching Richard Gage's efforts and research ever since. Most of my piers don't want to get involved and I don't understand that, other than it is high stress and they already exist in a high stress industry. High stress such as this event s not healthy, most just want to move on. I understand that but continue to send letters to my Senators to review information on 911 Truth's web page. Did it last week stressing the research and data collected on Building 7 in an effort to get NIST to do the right thing.

At the next break, I saw replays of the aircraft collision(s) on the TV in the foyer outside the room. It was a shock, although I had been tracking machinations in the works that whole summer on alt info sites and discussion forums. From videos I've seen it appears all of the buildings that went down were implosions. Steel doesn't burn that fast. I could see bombs going off below the buildings when they fell. Bldg # 7 imploded for no reason. No plane hit it, it was far from the WTC towers. I want answers. It felt wrong, fake! Why wasn't any debris found in Virginia if a plane crashed? Clearly the observed events of the actual collapses do not correlate well with the official story. Fundamental principles of even first year physics can be used to discredit the official story based on simple observation of the video footage combined with even the smallest shred of engineering knowledge. Comprehensive and scientific analysis of the events are required.

The very first time I saw a video clip of one of the twin towers falling, I knew in my gut that something was amiss. There's no way a jet liner and a fire can cause such a building to fall straight down like that, I puzzled. I have no advanced experience with architecture, aero dynamics, computers, explosives, politics or protests groups. I hold no creditability for any education on this subject other than education I have sought out myself and developed myself through information provided by others through the internet. I do not consider myself an expert on the subject, but rather a well informed individual with the strong belief that something like this is highly possible to be orchestrated by insiders with ulterior motives.
I do not believe the planes solely were responsible for the collapse of World Trade Center North and South towers, it appears scientifically impossible that the towers collapsed at the speed they did in such a controlled manner. The collapse of building 7 isn't even ethical to conceive without the consideration of a controlled demolition. No plane came in contact with it, and it has only been explained as collapsing because of its proximity to the twin towers. I do not believe the planes that crashed into the towers were commercial airliners, but rather military planes that were a part of the scheduled practice drills for possible attack on the world trade centers. I remain highly skeptical that Flight 77 ever crashed into the Pentagon, or that Flight 93 ever did crash at the spot where it was reported.

I am a U.S. citizen who was living in the U.S. during the time of the attacks. I left shortly afterwards in protest to the Patriot Act and the invasions of Iraq and Afghanistan as I believed the U.S. was being turned into a totalitarian state. I believe the U.S. government is completely untrustworthy and does not act in the best interests of the citizens of the United States.
I am absolutely disgusted about the official NIST report and the unwillingness of the United States government to fully investigate this matter. Nine years on and they are still hoping this will be swept under the rug. It will not. The metal beams would have gotten harder ,heat will harden steel .the jet fuel would have released a low level heat,not hot enough to melt the steel...only hot enough to harden the steel...any one can test the gov. Theory,just go and get several gallons of fuel and put a piece of steel in the fuel light the fuel for the same amount of time that it took to bring down the w.t.c...........see,for your self, what really will happen to the steel!!!!!!

I have seen many buildings hit by bombs and flying objects.. For these to come down as they did seems odd! They just collapsed like cards very similar to way they do in controlled demolitions. It also made no sense that the jets did not explode forcefully upon impact which should have at least tilted the floors above the impact zone! Floors did not seem to collapse upon one another as they do when a structure is integrally weakened (see numerous earthquake images of Japanese cities for example). It looked like someone pulled the plug so to speak and allowed them to collapse. Maybe it (controlled vertical demolition) was done intentionally to stop the structures from collapsing sideways and therefore creating even larger damage? The Bush administration did always seem over zealous in their approach to terrorism and in particular setting homeland security with the either you're with us or our enemy and what have you got hide?. It was in my mind a complete excuse to take away freedom!

I feel that it is an injustice to exclude all evidence, specifically the evidence pertaining to the actual collapse of the buildings (all three). I feel that evidence exists beyond the scope of the original investigation that should have been and needs to be including in a subsequent independent examination of all evidence pertaining to the entire investigation of 9/11, from the check in of every passenger of each flight, to the complete collapse of all three ( wtc 1, 2 & 7) buildings as well as the exact object to hit the pentagon, and what brought the plane down in flight 93!!! A complete & full investigation!!! Needs to be done, independently! We can accept the truth, but the truth must be known to all!!!! We cannot move on without closure and closure cannot be found without truth!
