To the Members of the House of Representatives and of the Senate of the United States of America,
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

The question of why they lied about this incredibly destructive event should be the most important question posed to our officials in the history of the United States. The actions of our government following 9/11, and their use of 9/11 as justification for those actions, makes it essential to search for the truth of how those buildings were erased and why. Its behavior was consistent with controlled demolition in that it was an imploding free-fall, and there weren't any external stimulus at all that could have brought it down. It takes the best controlled demolition team 2 weeks to wire a building for demolition. So, there was knowledge of the attack before it occurred.

I remember quite vividly when the buildings came down ' I saw it on TV in real time. I was stunned, it didn't make any sense to me, especially that they came straight down. I asked many colleagues including structural engineers to see if I had missed something. No one had a good explanation. And I was unaware of any steel framed building that had collapsed as the result of a fire. I was not particularly aware of Building 7 until I saw the video at the AE911Truth booth at the AIA convention. That collapse really doesn't make sense. I don't know what really happened, but I am glad to know that there are lots of others with specific knowledge of building structural performance who are also wondering. The official report seems to be full of holes.

In the beginning I believed the official story. But after the shock wore off, I found I could not forget the way the buildings fell. The debris was not consistent with a normal building collapse. Eye witnesses heard explosions, and the collapse of all three buildings had more resemblance to a controlled demolition than an unplanned structural failure. I have read many points of view on the matter and can no longer agree with the official story.

As for most of us, I can clearly remember exactly where I was and what I was doing on the moment the 9/11 attacks occurred. Well, on that day I was teaching English to Italian students at the University of Sassari in Italy; after considering the evidence you present, I am now practically ashamed to admit that on that day I defended the position of the United States as a victim of an unparalleled terrorist attack. Yet, as you so pertinently point out, the evidence was being shown to us all on the major news networks, right before our very eyes that very day, and around the world.
It a seems so incredible, but the scientific facts do indeed speak for themselves; we all must keep needling at our respective authorities to get to the very bottom of this story.

I have seen many documentaries on the subject. Also the latest samples collected by Steven Jones containing the highly refined thermite. I am a bit frustrated at the fact the only media to touch the subject has been Free Speech TV. on a limited basis. The notion of this being caused by creep. The official conclusion is such BS. There is no real engineering professional in the world that can support that story. I have to take the motto one mind at a time to not get discouraged.

More than by the building collapse, I started to believe that the official history of 9/11 is false because of the high degree of difficulty of the flight manoeuvrings to impact the airplanes without help of electronic or optical guiding systems almost perfectly in the horizontal center of the towers (the second was 'drifting to the right, a little'), later the impact of United Airlines 93 with only a hole in the ground, no significant wreckage, no suitcases, no bodies. Than the maybe even more difficult flight route of American Airlines 77 to the Pentagon, destroying with precision nothing else than the department which stored highly delicate and scandalous financial information at point to explode. And the optical inspection of the crash site: nothing makes you think that here has crashed a Boeing 757, it seems like the impact of an cruise missile. Al this can't be true, and then the WTC 7, the BBC (I still resist to believe they talked about the 'collapse' before it really happened), the history of the 'hijackers', the books of Koran left in a strip-bar and found in other places, their suitcase, the flight-manuals, the history of the flight traffic controller responsible for the New York flights, and on and on and on'. About the collapse, I'm not an architect, but if you critical professionals say it was a controlled demolition (to me it seems it is), having in mind all the other incoherent circumstances, than I decide to support you. I remember to have read that on 28th July 1945 a B-25 bomber crashed in the 97th floor of the Empire State Building because of loss of orientation in dense fog without causing any known structural damage to the building. For me the demonstration of the cardboard boxes was the main reason to get involved. I believe that there were thousands of tons of material ready to stop the collapse. But the actual nearly free fall speed collapse looks very much man made to me.

Why is it that no one seems to know about building 7? Why was termite found in smoldering pools at the bottom of the twin towers? Why did a building that 'compassed from fire' turn to dust? How could the buildings collapse at freefall speed without the aid of demolition? Why were FIMA investigators banned from ground zero after 9/11? I think the evidence presented by the group is startling. It seems to be well researched, thought out, and compelling. I've been to previous 9-11 truth meetings, and found many of the speakers and attendees motivated by emotion and any contrary evidence, regardless of whether it's rational. It's important to be objective. It saddens me that so many details have been lost between 9/11 and now. I think it's important for the sake of future generations that we don't allow these important details to go down the memory hole, and I believe an independent investigation should be requested and not take a permanent back seat to our current economic woes.
