PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

I earned my B.S. in Engineering at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2002. I earned an M.S. degree in Aerospace Engineering at Washington University in St. Louis. I worked in the defense industry from 2003 to 2008 at The Boeing Company as a Controls Engineer.
My main concern here is the lack of analysis performed in the Official 9/11 Commission Report, and glaring omissions such as the collapse of 7 WTC. The Commission claimed that 1 WTC collapsed in a pancake fashion (p. 308) and that 2 WTC fell in ten seconds and collapsed into itself (p.305). Given that free fall speed for the buildings would be around 9.2 seconds, and that the law of conservation of energy would prohibit such a rapid collapse under the pancake theory, the lack of scientific evidence and analysis leaves much to be desired. Furthermore, research on the WTC dust yielded highly advanced nano-thermitic compounds, indicating the true cause of collapse of the three WTC buildings was indeed through the use of explosives (Active Thermitic Material Discovered from the 9/11 World Trade Center Catastrophe. The Open Chemical Physics Journal, 2009). That finding supports the mechanics of collapse observed, including the coincidentally high degree of symmetry, lack of rotation or bending of the upper sections of the North and South Towers above the plane impact zones during collapse, and of course the speed at which they fell. This and video evidence of sequential explosions during the towers' destruction indicate that the twin towers were brought down by systematic controlled demolition. The nature of fall and lack of structural damage to 7 WTC also indicates an organized, deliberate demolition occurred here. There is more than enough scientific evidence to cause for demand of an independent investigation of the nature of the events on 9/11/01 and an unbiased diligent effort applied into discovering who was involved.

Over the next few days I continued to watch video replays of Twin Towers 1 & 2 and could not comprehend how both towers could collapse as they did. As a Structural Engineer, it made no sense to me how the structural framing system below the impact level did not continue to support the structure. It was only in the last few weeks, as I researched and found this site, that I found out that building 7 had also collapsed. I agree that it has the classic signs of a controlled demolition. Thanks to all of you who created this site. I am proud to be part of the cause to get congress to conduct a full investigation.

The NIST investigations were based on unfounded or ill-referenced assumptions, and have been carried out with an unacceptable set of restrictions and a lack of professionalism. The refusal by NIST to discuss the obvious and severe issues regarding their findings incriminates them.

What I saw perplexed me as from my background, I determined that a 757 could not have possibly fit into a 16-foot hole and leave little to no debris field at that. Afterwards, I contacted a friend who works for a governmental agency (commercial building engineer) and asked him how it is possible that aviation fuel could burn hot enough to 'melt' the steel trusses and supposedly causing a 'pancake' collapse. Then I asked him how WTC 7 fell. He only answered that fires were hot enough in WTC 7 to cause its collapse. The last time I spoke to him was in 2001 and he will not return my phone calls. He defended the WTC 1 & 2 official 'pancake' explanation. I've since listened and printed out many theories as to why these buildings fell. Steven Jones suggestion about thermite or thermate is intriguing. Others have suggested a mini-nuke device was implanted at the base of the buildings. It is obvious WTC 7 was a controlled demolition. But I wanted to hear from the experts, such as those on this site. My biggest objective now is to find out why the evidence was removed before experts could examine it - especially the steel. Why did fires keep burning under the rubble for over a month? But most important is why the investigations are being obviously covered-up. This is why I appreciate your site and will gladly sign the petition.

I'm presently a Senior Principal Design Engineer/Manager with over 24 years of broad industry experience in Product and Design Engineering. My initial year at engineering school exposed me to mechanical as well as civil engineering, although my concentration has been on electronic engineering. I've received over 10 US patents which relate to IC design.
It's my understanding that when a building has been destroyed by fire in the course of a crime, then forensic analysis must legally test for the use of accelerants. I believe NIST did not comply with this requirement and the only rigorous xray analysis of the steel ejected from this crime scene found strong evidence which supported the possibility that thermate was present. NIST's final conspiracy theory that thermal expansion was responsible for the collapse of WTC 7 - a new phenomenon. I also found out today that one of the eyewitnesses to explosive forces emanating from the basement of the Twin Towers, Kenny Johannemann, committed suicide - such testimony I feel was never fully considered by the 9/11 Commission and this evidence is rapidly disappearing, or worse, being swept under the carpet. I would like to see an independent inquiry into the unanswered questions regarding what really happened on 9/11 and full accountability of those who were complicit in the events of that day. I consider diversion of our nation's military to a bogus war in Iraq at the height of our nation's response to this attack with extreme suspicion.

I have built homes, racing engines, racing boats and cars. I have seen the extreme temperatures that an everyday engine holds up to and the super extreme temperatures of a racing engine. Strangely, both types of engines have far lesser materials holding up to far more extreme conditions that that of a building on fire with kerosene. I have seen what a crashed racing boat and car go through and just know that anything bolted and welded together become bent, crumbled and distorted, not disintegrated.
Anyone who truly takes just 5 minutes to educate themselves on this matter, should have zero issues understanding the buildings were demolished by explosives. Thank you for all your help in bringing these lies to the public eyes.

Alex Gurin was born in St. Petersburg (Leningrad), Russia in 1956. Mr. Gurin attended the Petrograd Music School for Children where he studied violin from age 6 and piano from age 10. Upon finishing school in 1973, Mr. Gurin entered the Rimsky-Korsakov College of the Leningrad State Conservatory graduating in 1978 with a concentration in voice, choral conducting and piano. After moving from New York to Connecticut in 1988, Mr. Gurin was closely associated with the Norwalk Symphony Orchestra, where he served as assistant conductor under Maestro Jesse Levine, as well as a Board Member from 1988 to 1998. Mr. Gurin also served as a Choral Director at the Canterbury School in New Milford, CT. He was responsible for the rehearsals, performances and everyday administration of a 70-member Chorale and Women's Choir; Octet and Chamber Orchestra; AP Music Theory/Harmony Course; Introductory Course on Composition Principals; Piano Workshops and Vocal Coaching. Mr. Gurin also held the position of Band Director at the Immaculate High School in Danbury, CT. I'm not an architect or engineer. I'm simply someone with common sense who can look at the available evidence and clearly see that the government's story doesn't make sense. I have two years of College, worked as a pre-school teacher, and now work as a caregiver for elderly and hospice.
The government's National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) website: http://wtc.nist.gov/pubs/factsheets/faqs_8_2006.htm says: ...the NIST investigation showed conclusively that the failure of the inwardly bowed perimeter columns initiated collapse and that the occurrence of this inward bowing required the sagging floors to remain connected to the columns and pull the columns inwards. That means the explanation that the government gives for claiming that the horizontal beams stayed connected to the vertical beams, is only that them staying connected is what is required in order to explain the occurrence of the vertical beams getting inwardly bowed. So the government is asking us to believe that several floors near the top with weakened steel tied in with concrete floors sagged and pulled the vertical steel beams down through multiple floors of horizontal and vertical steel beams, all the way down to the ground at the speed of a free falling object. I don't have to be a scientist to know that there's no way the concrete floors could have inwardly bent all 236 vertical steel beams around the periphery along with the 47 massive vertical steel beams in the center of the Towers all the way down to the ground right into the building's own small footprint at free fall speed.

It was a week before the towers and we were crossing the Vermont border and there was an unusual backup and my daughter and I noticed the addition of some serious equipment....we talked about what was happening and a week later, well it looks like they knew they would be changing ways forever...I have never believed Cheney was not involved and the Bush look when told is may god they did it...the truth will come out someday, not in my time but eventually and Americans may just wake up and stop believing the tooth fairy left the money.

I have completed high school, and worked for 26 years in the corrugated paper printing business as a machine operator, forklift driver, shipping clerk, leadman, and supervisor. I have also acquired experience in concrete, carpentry, plumbing, and mechanics.
I have studied, the collapse of WTC 1,2, and 7 very extensively on the internet ever since 9-11-01, and have concluded only that the official story is all but impossible. As an American I am left with uncertainty about my government. It seems to me that questions left unanswered have left voids filled by speculation. This speculation alone slowly eats at any trust I have for my government.

I'm a church musician in Germany and have no education in physics or engineering, but since I first saw the building collapsed in September 2001 I've often been thinking about the cause of it and, of course, all innocent people loosing their life. Kyrie Eleison!
I've looked at some movies of the WTC1, north tower, collapsing and noticed that at large portion of one side of the building is standing so that you can see it above the dust could. After one or two seconds this part of the outer wall is totally turning into dust before it falls apart and disapear. There you can really see how the iron pulverizes.

During high school I studied drafting for 4 years and took the necessary science classes to go to college. I went to work after school and learned machining which I have done for the last 20 odd years.
You can clearly tell from the video it was a controlled demolition. If you have a doubt, look at a controlled demolition of a large building. If the building had fell by any other means there would have been much more damage to surrounding buildings and the debris would have been in larger pieces. It would not have been basically vaporized.
