PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

I have a bachelor's degree in civil engineering from West Virginia University. I graduated in 2007 and obtained my PE license in 2012. I have been working as a structural engineer for the same company since 2007. I design commercial, athletic, multi-family residential apartments and hotel low rise structures. The structures that I have designed include materials such as but not limited to: Steel, timber, concrete, masonry and light gauge.
After reading the NIST report on WTC building 7 it was clear that there was no way that building could fall at 'free fall' acceleration due to the failure of one column that bore a transfer beam. It's true that fire can cause steel to change it's structural yield point and maybe some of the connections could be compromised due to the fires but even if that whole column were to have vanished in thin air, the whole building would not have collapsed like it did.

I am recently retired from a 30-yr career as a structural engineer in the military defense aerospace industry, holding DoD Secret Clearance throughout. My academic training was in civil structural engineering, and while I spent most of my career in space launch applications focusing on rocket structures, I managed the Ground Systems Structures Section at The Aerospace Corporation and have considerable practical experience with ground structures and facilities. I also have vast experience in failure investigations of launch systems and am well versed in the inter-disciplinary analyses -- thermodynamics, ballistics, structural dynamic and structures -- required to develop and explore credible hypotheses.
I was initially a skeptic regarding the possibility that the WTC was brought down by explosives. I erroneously thought that the conspiracy theories were based upon the notion that steel had to melt to precipitate a failure (it does not), and that rocket fuel doesn't burn at sufficient temperature to liquify steel (which is true). After reviewing the overwhelming evidence presented by the 911 Truth Organization, it is apparent to me that the steel did in fact melt, and that is incontrovertible evidence of the use of explosives. Together with the visual evidence, particularly that of WTC 7's signature implosion, there can be no doubt in the mind of anyone trained in structural engineering that these buildings were brought down by carefully placed explosive charges. NONE WHATSOEVER. As unthinkable as it is to me, it is hard to believe that anyone except agents of the U.S. federal government could have had the access and resources necessary to commit this atrocity.

In my construction work I have seen first hand the amount of redundancy that is built in to steel and concrete buildings as they were being constructed. I have seen extremely hot electrical fires that have completely destroyed the insides of electrical panels yet the steel panel boxes and the surrounding concrete was left undamaged. We heat the construction site with 200,000 BTU heaters (http://www.masterheaters.com/kero/index-2.html) that burn jet fuel. These never even come close to melting the steel. No steel and concrete building has ever collapsed from fire. From my own observations backed up by facts, I know the THREE WTC buildings were not brought down by fire.

How is it that the buildings fell at free-fall acceleration and straight down, doing virtually no damage to any surrounding buildings (especially building 7, which wasn't even hit by anything)?

I am a truth seeker. I am an educated person, with many years of experience in finding truth. I do my research and look at all sides of an issue before coming to any conclusion. I also require proof before I believe any theory. I focus on the history behind any event to see what led to its occurrence. In looking at all the evidence presented so far and the fact that there is many credible witnesses to these facts and that there are professional experts to explain the implications of these facts I have come to believe that the truth is that the 9-11 tragedy was pre-planned and arranged so that when the airplanes hit the building the explosive charges where set off to bring the building down in a controlled manner. I do believe without a doubt the government was involved in the matter and has purposely covered up the truth. I want a real investigation conducted with individuals that do not seek to gain monetarily from their contributions to the truth behind the facts of 9-11. This truth may reveal a awful fact that there are those in power that do not care about freedom, truth or lives. These individuals who participated in the cover-up and the planning of 9-11 need to be brought to justice for the deaths of those who were sacrificed for the plans of the ones who brought about this tragedy. May truth and justice prevail in spite of those who try so hard to keep the truth hidden and justice at bay.

I am 49 years old female carpenter, I have been out of work for almost 2 years. Not too long from now, I will be losing my house, no work. At first I didn't know my head from my but!! On the day it happened I watched the first building go down and could not understand why the whole building was falling into its footprints. I said to myself, that looks like a controlled demolition. When the second building fell in the exact same way I knew that something wasn't right. Two planes hitting two different buildings at different angles and heights (one of them passing through a corner of the building) simply could not create two identical building failures. It's just common sense and logic.

Food for thought: I don't know alot of laws and legal practices, but my question is that why didn't Bush take Osama's confession of the collapse of the WTC and use it as evidence to convict him of Capital murder or something of the sort. Isn't that what our court system does to anyone else. A confession is used as evidence to convict someone of a crime. A confession does not mean to waive an investigation and just go after the person, right?

Never, previous to 9/11, was I a conspiracy theorist. The textbook demolition collapse of Building #7 was the catalyst that startled me into change . I have always doubted 100% the official story as to the collapse of the towers, and cannot accept any other theory other than that they were demolished. Upon viewing hours of footage, I am convinced that the collapse of these towers was carefully planned well in advance in order to achieve the results.
