To the Members of the House of Representatives and of the Senate of the United States of America,
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

I am a member of a long line of commercial/industrial building contractors. My immediate family has been erecting steel-frame buildings in New York since the 1940s. I personally worked in the building trades for over ten years. As general contractors, we have hired other forces to take down large buildings using controlled demolition in order to pave the way for our new construction.

While on active duty I never once allowed myself to consider any of the information some people were talking about; I believe it was that I didn't want that type of distraction taking away my energy in performing my assigned tasks. However, something happened to me after I retired and began working again as a 'civilian'. Over the last year, I've spent literally hundreds of hours reading, reading and reading, along with viewing excellent and fact-based documentaries on not just 9/11, but every major event in my lifetime. It has been an incredible awakening for me to realize that my own government has conducted such mass global manipulation, death and war, supposedly in the name of freedom and democracy. The more the people ask about 9/11, the less the media report it. For example, there is no reason for molten steel burning weeks afterward. There is no reason all three simply evaporated during descent. Why was all power cut off the weekend (maybe two weekends) prior to 9/11. Whoever planted the explosives had access to every single room in that building since all cameras and motion sensors were disabled. Building 7 could not have fallen on its own. No way. Pull it. But the biggest farce is the failure of the Pres and VP to provide testimony separately and under oath to the 9/11 commission.

My experience relates to infrastructure design (hydrology, hydraulics, grading and earthwork). In my opinion, I do find it difficult to believe the official report based on some of the scientific knowledge I have. Free fall speed as mentioned in some reports suggest fire is not the only cause of total collapse, in particular building 7. There should have been a lot more visible fire damage than seen in the numerous videos produced. I have my doubts.

Nano-Thermite (Fe2O3+2Al) has been found in the dust from the WTC and Aluminum Oxide (Al3O3) was clearly seen coming from the buildings before the collapse. WTC #7 fell at 6.6 seconds, which is impossible according to the law of Conservation of Momentum, and it fell into its own footprint without damaging the adjacent buildings. None of this was addressed in the 9/11 Commission Report.

I did not become a believer at first, but it inspired me to begin my own research, after which I have come to the conclusion that the events of that day are, without a doubt, the actions of a sinister element within our own government.
In my opinion, the most compelling evidence that the towers were brought down in a controlled demolition are the squibs that are clearly visible as both towers are coming down. The pancake theory simply does not hold up to the scrutiny of anyone with knowledge of physics or the construction of large buildings. There are simply too many witness statements from first responders as well as people inside of the towers of secondary explosions occurring at almost all levels of the towers. For those who do not find this compelling, the collapse of building 7 should leave no doubt whatsoever.

I am, like many others, disturbed with how the investigation took so long to begin and was not conducted as a true criminal investigation. When experts now come forward questioning the 911 Commission Report, they are ridiculed. It is the right of the American people and the people of the world to learn the truth - whatever it is, about that horrible day in September!
Controlled demolitions are all too familiar to us all since we have seen so many in the media over the years. The news reporters on September 11th kept repeating that the collapse of the World Trade Center buildings appeared to be controlled demolitions. They would not dare say those words since that day. Why? Are we not allowed to know the true cause of the 3 buildings falling that day. Is every high rise built subject to collapse. Building 7 fell because of small damage and fire we are told. If that is true why are we not taking steps to condemn buildings that could potentially kill so many people? Or was it just those three building that were dangerous and all the thousands of other are safe? We live in a country that is so overprotective and lawsuit conscious except in the case of high rise buildings in the most populated areas of our country. Or perhaps we all know inside that the way those buildings came down could only have happened in one way.
