The AE911Truth Petition
To the Members of the House of Representatives and of the Senate of the United States of America,
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

After WW2, I studied at NYU under the GI bill, receiving a BSEE in 1946. I continued my studies for a MSEE. Since 1947, I worked in NYC as an engineer for 54 years, and I passed the exam for Professional Engineer in 1952. I continued work in designing and constructing electrical and lighting for all types of buildings, mainly in NYC. Occupation: Systems Engineer
Worked on the space program from 1962-1974, primarily as systems engineer. Developed a number of classified patents. Wrote a textbook about high-accuracy inertial navigation systems. Wrote the first system to computerize/optimize a portion of the US textbook market. Was VP of Engineering for a PC development firm and the senior R&D manager for instrument design in a chemical residue analysis company. Became disabled in 2007 and retired. Currently writing a book discussing the reality of global climate change.
I have no answers, but there are far too many unanswered questions concerning the engineering details of the events leading to the collapse of three steel and concrete structures - that fell (at near free-fall rates) within their own footprints. How could this happen? No one has come close to answering those questions to the satisfaction of any knowledgeable engineer. It simply 'doesn't compute' to people familiar with the supposed process. I do not believe the stories that were floated - they were 'made up' by people who did not appreciate the information that engineers could extract by studying the videos of 9/11.

As I continue to learn more regarding the events surrounding 9/11, I have to begun to see that this has the hallmarks of a controlled demolition. As such, I am interested in exploring who did the elevator work in the buildings during the period just prior to 9/11: who was this company? Even more: who were the specific workers assigned to this elevator project? What specifically was the upgrade that they performed? These workers should be deposed as part of a larger independent investigation.

The many witnesses who heard a multitude of explosions coming from the Twin Towers, the unburnt Koran found in the street, the Arizona and Minnesota FBI reporting of Arabs taking 747 flying lessons before the attack, the fire inside and subsequent collapse of WTC7 after Mr. Silverstein said Pull it., the fairly quick removal of debris from the site before local authorities had a chance to examine the evidence, fuel fires are typically low temperature fires when steel needs 2900 degrees F to melt, and the hundreds of engineers and architects stating the bldgs. shouldn't have collapsed.

I am a mechanical engineer by education, but practiced mostly in Project Management in the polymer, non-wovens, petrochemical, and refining industries.
Not only are the twin tower collapses in question, but the plane crash into the Pentagon needs further review. It seems unrealistic that more debris was not found on the site. Same goes for the PA plane crash in the middle of a field. Further investigation is needed in all 4 plane crashes. It smells like a cover up.

The official version never made sense to me. I anticipated that explosives would have been required just by hearing a description of the collapse on 9/11/2001. Quick calculations I made based on conservation of momentum trying to convince people the official explanation was false gave a 120 second collapse time for a gravitational collapse & 35mph to 60 mph lateral mass ejections which are not possible if only gravity driven. Newton's 3rd Law required the complete destruction of the falling top of the towers that should have left 60 stories of intact buildings standing after a gravitational collapse ended. Energy available from a gravitational collapse was insufficient to explain all features of the actual collapse. Core columns could be seen disintegrating in sections after the collapses ended. Steel frame buildings, by design and properties of materials, could not fail from oxygen-starved hydrocarbon fires. The buildings were designed to withstand airplane collisions of the 757/767 class and had withstood natural forces far greater over the life of the buildings. In short, I'm an engineer and understand the laws of physics and the official explanation violated at least 1/2 dozen of them.

I have always thought something was not quite right about the collapse of the two WTC towers. The way they disintegrated and created so much dust and smoke just does not make sense. And building 7 is completely bizarre. One second, a complete office building with some small fires, and then a perfect free fall collapse into its footprint.....amazing. We need to do a complete re-analysis of this event.

I have a bachelors of applied science in electrical engineering. Although not a structural engineer, I understand the laws of physics and chemistry. For over 10 years I've worked on million dollar transmission and scanning electron microscopes, looking at nano particles. I have access to some top university and government research labs and Ph.D. Staff.
The perfect uniform pile drive of two towers and the identical collapse of WTC7 as a controlled demolition don't make sense. Molten steel and concrete were found, with months of high temperatures afterwards. The smoke and debris clouds during collapse don't act like a structure failure. The lack of debris is in question. The way the building seems to turn to dust even as it falls. The top section, being tilted when collapse started, should have, at best, fallen over the side. The inner core columns are non-existent after collapse. The whole thing stinks!

The metallurgical anomaly of melting temperature of steel versus jet fuel combustion temperature made me skeptical but I dismissed it due to the NIST report. Another report surfaced in 2001 that stated fireproofing material was blown away by the plane impacts and jet fuel weakened the structure. At that time I assumed it was correct. I never knew WTC7 fell until I watched videos years later. After time passed and I saw numerous slow motion videos showing what looks like a controlled demolition, I am signing this petition.

Building 7 is the key indicator that everything about the official story is false. I work with a structural steel firm that produces 15,000 tonnes of fabricated steel a year. The official story leads us to believe that over 40,000 tonnes of steel, what would take us almost 3 years to produce, turned to dust. It's a ridiculous arguement & the more I look at the facts the crazier the official story sounds.

Whilst I am a graduate of Aeronautical Engineering from Sydney University, upon graduation I started a business in a different field & pursued self employment in other fields for my entire working life. As such, I have never worked a day in my life as an engineer. That said, I still have a reasonable grasp of the scientific principles involved & am well aware that the aircraft that struck WTC 1 & 2 could not possibly have been commercial 767's as they exceeded their flight envelope parameters (esp. in relation to their speed at sea level) . I'm also well aware, through basic High school Physics principles, that WTC7's mostly freefall collapse ( & WTC 1 & 2's near free fall collapse ), are incompatible with what one would expect from an asymmetric gravity collapse.
Refer to my remarks in the section labelled 'Relevant Biography'.

Freefall is deemed impossible unless 'assisted.' Secondary explosions were heard and reported by witnesses and are audible in recordings. Secondary explosions are visible in the new media footage of the collapse, always preceding the freefall collapse at the 'top.'

If you remove all coincidences of 9/11 and focus solely on the collapse of World Trade Center 7, what remains is still overwhelming evidence that the popular theory of the events of 9/11 is misleading and not at all based on true science. When you add in all other evidence, the popular theory of 9/11 becomes entirely unreasonable.
