On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

I received my high school diploma and graduated from St.Patrick's high school. Shortly after I started an apprenticeship with Local 95 Heat and Frost Insulators and I am currently attending my 3rd and final 6weeks of trade school which will move me from the level of apprentice to journeyman.
I highly doubt the official story about the WTC buildings for a number of reasons. 1) The fact that the buildings fell at nearly free fall speed encountering no resistance on the way down. 2) The buildings were built to withstand multiple plane impacts and the buildings still fell. 3) Jet fuel does not burn hot enough to melt the structural steel and cause a sudden collapse. The jet fuel only has the capability of warping and bending the steel beams which in my opinion would not be enough to bring the buildings down SUDDENLY. 4) The concrete was completely pulverized suggesting the possibility of explosives being used. 5) Molten metal was seen by the first responders dripping down the steel beams like lava. Pools of molten metal were also found underneath the rubble of the towers. If a fire isn't hot enough to melt structural steel then what caused the molten metal?? Could it be some sort of an explosive? 6) Many interviews have been done with the first responders, and people who where there who said they heard explosions in the building before and during the WTC collapses. There is video evidence to prove this. Also a man named Willie Rodriguez who was a janitor in the basement levels of the towers heard explosions in the basement just a few seconds before the plane actually crashed into the building. You can find his videos online through Google or Youtube, just type in Willie Rodriguez. 7) Before 9/11 no steel framed structure has ever collapsed due to a fire. This would make the WTC buildings the 1st in history according the the commission report if it were true but I know it's not. And remember WTC building 7 was not hit by a plane and it still collapsed. 8) If the buildings collapsed by fire then why were steel beams thrown hundreds of feet away from the towers. In one case a steel beam was even lodged into a neighboring building. If it was a natural building collapse the beams would have fell straight down not across the street. The amount of force needed to throw a steel beam this far and lodge it into another building would have to great. My conclusion explosives were used. I'm not an architect. I'm not an engineer. I'm not a scientist or a physicist. I'm just an average JOE. Evidence of the truth is in plain sight and easy to understand if you are willing to open your mind. It doesn't take a great mind to see behind the lies of the commission report.

I received a Bachelor degree in design from UMass Amherst in 1990. I later worked for a structural engineering firm in Virginia for 5 years. In 1998 I received a masters degree in architecture from UVA. I worked as an architect for several years in Boston before moving to Paris in 2005. I have since worked on the design development for 3 high-rise office buildings throughout Europe. I am now the project architect and designer of a 48-storey office tower in La Defense (just outside of Paris) that is to be completed in 2013.

By 9/12 I was convinced that there was something fishy about the collapse of the WTC. I learned about progressive collapse from my engineering professors at Columbia, and I found it hard to imagine that the twin towers could have failed in that way. They were specifically designed to resist impact and load applied by the collision of a Boeing 707 jet. The buildings appeared to have been destroyed by an engineered demolition. When I articulated my suspicions, however, I was met with derision. I have continued, however, in my conviction that the buildings were intentionally destroyed.

There are enough questions being raised about the events on 9/11 in New York, Washington DC and Pennsylvania that a new investigation is appropriate. There are numerous question that this group, and others have raised. The rebuttals that I have seen have often been vague and have not addressed the specific point that was being raised. These rebuttals have left me uneasy about the 'official' story.

From my limited experience and understanding of the strength of materials and focus on stress and strain capacity of structural materials, I have difficulty understanding how the official report is credible in describing the mode of failure. In particular, building 7's orchestrated collapse does not bode well with me.

My father was a ground zero survivor on 9/11. I was previously a fire department service member, and I worked at ground zero during the freedom tower construction project in 2009. I have a bachelors in fire protection engineering, so I have more knowledge on this topic that the common man. I'm currently in pursuit of my PE in the same field. I now work as a government contractor to safeguard their facilities (nuclear power plants, VA medical centers, EPA laboratories) from fires and other disasters.
If a building is designed to withstand a plane impact, then it will. I have too much respect for the engineering field to argue that fact. Fire does not cause structural failure of that magnitude. Maybe a fire will cause a wooden shed to fall, but not a skyscraper at free fall speed. An asymmetrical structural failure (as the NIST report states for WTC 7), cannot cause a symmetrical collapse. The building would have tipped over.

I have a degree in mechanical engineering and I always worked for the motorcycle industry, designing structural and non structural chassis and body components such as frames, forks and clamps, swing arms and links, tanks, carriers, fairings, fenders, air boxes and exhaust pipes and mufflers etc.
As an engineer I feel very ashamed that I believed the official version for more than a decade, without asking myself any questions. Then I saw the documentaries by Massimo Mazzuco and I understood what should be so obvious to any normal person who is not completely hypnotized by mainstream media. There are too many unanswered questions about the physics related to how only the impacts of large airplanes caused WTC Buildings 1 and 2 to collapse (explode and melt). For example the melted steel beams would indicate use of thermite; and the many months of steel remaining molten in the ruins would indicate possible use of small (low radiation) nuclear weapons. How could only the jet fuel and kinetic energy of the collapse cause such intense heat (for months)? How could they cause the buildings to explode so far upward and outward? How could they cause so much of the buildings' concrete and steel to be pulverized (almost vaporized) into fine dust (2.5 microns)? Was the energy required to do all of this much more than that from the jet fuel and the kinetic energy from structural collapse? Basic physics principles (conservation of energy) do not appear to support the official story. What other sources of energy were involved? Also, there are many unanswered questions about how WTC Building 7 was destroyed; the official story was that small fires caused an internal column to buckle. However, all videos show it was an (obvious) implosion that was very level (i.e., level pancaking typical of engineered demolitions). So, did a demolitions team engineer and place the many explosives needed to cause its orderly implosion? If so, how did the team find the time and resources to do all of their work during the chaos on September 11? Or, was their work done before September 11, as a precautionary measure (for safe, controlled demolition) in case of attack? Hopefully a few brave, patriotic people will eventually address the many unanswered questions. If not, life will still go on, and the many good people of America will continue to improve our beloved nation.You can fool all the people some of the time and some of the people all the time, but you cannot fool all the people all the time.

I watched the event on live TV. The loss of life and impact on society was staggering to say the least. However, the extent of the investigation did not match the magnitude of the event. The scientific method was not applied. All possibilities were not examined thoroughly. The final report was not peer reviewed. The final report should have been vetted by other independent scientists, engineers etc. Any scientific professional should be appalled by the blatant disregard for the code of ethics and conduct. It challenges the integrity of our profession as a whole. It is our responsibility as scientific professionals to stand up for the integrity of our profession. I recall watching the video of towers alight while based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and I could not comprehend at the time why 'Molten Steel' was pouring out of the side of the building! Having melted some steel using homemade thermite mix, the amount of thermite needed to produce that massive flow of steel, plus the wasted steel beams seen after the event is impossible for any cavalier US Lawyer, pseudo NIST armchair non-experts and non-engineers to explain.

I graduated mechanical engineer cum laude (3.4 / 4.0 GPA) from Auburn University, AL in 2007. I got a job right out of college with the US Army Corps of Engineers and became a mechanical quality assurance building inspector for 3 years with the government as a civil servant, and also a project engineer of 6 months. Seeing that the finances of that organization were totally corrupt, with 7 out of 7 buildings in North Carolina and Georgia costing 200, 300 dollars a square foot to renovate when by contract they should be no more than 150 to build, I left USACE. At the same time I was waking up to 9/11 truth, and found the materials Wikileaks was putting out about our operations in Iraq and Afghanistan. I began speaking out online, and have not stopped since. I estimate I have told 8 million people through the internet about the corruption that lies at the core levels of our governments.
Of the many valid arguments about why controlled demolition brought down three buildings on 9/11/2001, I find this the most easily convincing: That 15 floors cannot crush the many dozens more floors below, I think it was 80 or 90, as is claimed about one of the towers that fell. The upper 15 floors would have disentegrated into nothing after falling on 15 floors if we are to believe that the floors were totally crushed into powder under the influence of gravity alone.

The ASME code of ethics establishes the responsibility for engineers to 'hold paramount the safety, health, and welfare of the public' and to strive to maintain this responsibility with honesty and impartiality. As an engineer, it is my duty to question the integrity of work others have done if the welfare of the public is at risk. Having an understanding of the scientific method, I recognize the failure in the National Institute of Standards and Technology organization for conducting a negligent investigation where many important questions were not answered and pertinent evidence was mishandled. I support the Architects & Engineers for 9/11 Truth organization's petition calling for an independent investigation into the possible use of explosives that may have resulted in the structural failure of the World Trade Center buildings.

I think we need to look at 9/11 again. There are some very good youtube videos that make people curious. My big question for many years was: Why do we (the west) need to kill way more people in the 'name' of fighting terrorists, than the terrorists ever killed. It seems very odd and immediately makes you think if this whole thing is about something else, other than terrorists.

I was scheduled on a flight to Chicago for a meeting with other Network Associates engineers when my wife was watching the collapse of building 2 on September 11, 2001. It was a controlled demolition. Building 7 wasn't even badly on fire before collapsing and BBC reported that it had collapsed 20 minutes before it actually happened. The official version just doesn't add up.

The evidence is too clear that the buildings had to fall by a controlled demolition. There are too many inconsistencies in the official explanation and the video footage. Building 7 is the absolute clincher. The molten metal defies any other explanation.
