PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

After viewing the documentation about the evidence surrounding World Trade Center 7, and comparing it to structural characteristics of building materials under fire conditions, the explanations given by NIST don't quite match up. While some structural failure of the building after prolonged exposure to fire conditions fueled by office materials is possible, large structural steel beams would yield slowly over time and the building collapsing all at once is all but impossible, unless it was engineered to do so.

Have been designing building structures for 35 years both in the UK and the Middle East with local UK based consultancies and with a large project management company in Saudi Arabia. For the last 14 years, I have owned and run a structural design consultancy in Edinburgh, UK specializing in steel framed, masonry and timber building designs.
From the outset, watching the collapses on television, it was clear there were very serious questions to be asked about how three robust steel framed buildings collapsed into their own footprints, one of which had not been struck by an aircraft and had been subject to a relatively minor fire. Given the evidence from multiple witnesses regarding explosions in the buildings before and after the planes struck, the stand-down of the US air force, the admission by the owner of the buildings of the decision to demolish Building 7, the immediate removal of structural evidence, the high temperature fires in the basements, the evidence for explosive residues in dust and obvious unwillingness of US authorities to offer a reasoned and full engineering explanation for the collapses. Since 911, the two relevant UK engineering institutions have failed to provide an analysis or to offer advice to structural engineers on progressive collapse and fire protection in steel framed buildings in complete contrast to previous serious building collapses. In my opinion, the official report on the collapses, or any other that I am aware of was entirely inadequate and should be reopened to fully investigate the reasons for these building failures and offer advice and guidance on limiting risk in future, and existing, structures.

The Pentagon, when you analyze the destruction, could not have been hit by the plane but possibly only the missile could operate so deeply and narrow. There are obviously others circumstances which make the whole picture and it is clear that the official version is a lie.

I've watched countless hours of video evidence from 911 starting in 2005. The collapse of WTC building 7 is clear cut in that it resembles a collapse into its own footprint due to demolition when comparing to video of other multi story buildings deliberately destroyed by this method. No engineering degree or architectural qualification is needed to know that the twin towers did not fall due to fire - simple high school physics is proof enough. The collapse of both towers happens incredibly quickly - with stories seemingly finding no resistance below as they fell. There are other glaring anomalies such as a top section that was keeling over but then stopped its rotation movement and collapsed vertically ' this makes no sense if the official fire-based collapse is to be believed. Other glaring evidence includes steel beams being jettisoned outwards for huge distances as the tower fell ' there is simply not enough kinetic energy present in a fire-based collapse to cause heavy beams to make this movement outwards. The only explanation can be demolition by explosives. Moreover ' the fires were oxygen starved and cool burning (burning with dark smoke) which allowed people to walk down past the fires to escape and allowed a woman to stand calling for help in the hole created by one of the planes. Such small cool burning fires could never cause the towers massive steel structure to collapse ' the core center girders were several meters thick.

It had always bothered me that the section of one tower, with the long, slender antenna on it, was intact and leaning outward, about 20 degrees, when the collapse started ??????? Two questions nagged at me...why didn`t it continue falling outward, into the area of least (no) resistance...and even more troubling, why wasn`t it laying on top of the rubble pile, in one or more big chunks ???????

I do not believe the official story is accurate. Based upon the visual evidence I believe the twin towers were demolished using demolitions charges. I have waited 11 years to start wondering and caring whether the official story was watertight. I consider myself a skeptic and a freethinker and I have been persuaded by recent presentations of film and microscopic and other scientifically presented evidence that the truth is not yet known, and that it is at least possible, and a good idea, to debunk the official story, to the extent that it can be. I have been an educator for most of my life, and I like to think it has made me a reasonably good judge of what knowledge is important to the human future. This seems as important as any.
The initial investigation didn't include sufficient input from engineers and scientists, as nearly as one can tell. A new investigation would settle the question far more authoritatively, when professionals in relevant fields are included.

Having worked with various grades of steel, iron and aluminum in processes including welding, heat treating, cutting and forging, the photographic evidence does not support standard combustion. Even if accelerated with petroleum distillates. Some of the girders and I beams look more like a plasma cutter has been at work as opposed to radiant heat of any intensity.

I have a strong concern with the lack of evidence currently supporting the way the three buildings were demolished. I feel the American nation and other countries have shown a very one sided view of September 11th. The PBS - Colorado broadcasts 9/11: Explosive Evidence - Experts Speak Out (2012 documentary) has opened insightful scientific evidence of the way the three buildings fell. I believe their research should be look into more.

As a person concerned that the truth be openly discussed, I am highly interested that the scientific investigation be reopened addressing the pulverized/ vaporized concrete and steel, the lack of debris normally reflected in a physical collapse of a structure versus a structural failure enhanced by explosives, and the chemical components found in the dust from the Twin Towers and Building 7 destruction. I would also like to know who manufactures nano-thermite explosives, if there is a chemical signature from the residual debris analysis that can lead to the manufacturer, and how much would it have cost to purchase and instal said explosives in a quantity large enough to vaporize the above mentioned buildings. I would like to know if Al-Qaeda had any banking data available prior to the 9/11 incident that would have been sufficient to fund such an operation and how they would have been able to infiltrate into the Trade Centers to install the explosives. I would also like to see discussed why there is such a poorly conducted investigation by NIST, FEMA and others that seem to have gotten this so wrong? Thank you.

If these claims are true then they deserve extensive investigation and recognition. A full investigation should be done by non biased members of the scientific community so that the truth is exposed. America DESERVES the truth.
It is a tragedy what happened on 9/11. I am from Florida so I was no where near where it happened, but i recall sitting in a classroom where teachers were told not to turn on the televisions.

I am concerned that the debris was taken away before it could be tested. I am wondering why Building 7 fell in free fall. I am wondering why there were explosions heard from people who were there. I wonder why the insurance on the Trade Towers was increased a few days before this tragic event. I wonder if this was a staged event to propel us into war in the Middle East. I wonder if it has to do with oil or opium rather than true terrorism from Muslims.

I currently attend Grand Junction High school. I am a senior this year. Next year I will be attending Mesa University here in Grand Junction for a year. To me it seems like there might be a problem with the official story of 9/11 when in every press conference after the Towers fell the president had a different story. When all of these interviews are compiled together in a short video, one can see that president Bush has something different to say every time which led me to believe he was lying and trying to cover something up.
