PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

Since graduating college in 1982, I have worked in the structural engineering field. In 2000, I started my own consulting business as a structural engineer. I have experience with wood, concrete, and steel design as well as some forensic experience investigating collapses of structures. I also have experience as a paid on call fire/rescue worker.
I've done extensive research online, and of videos, and have concluded that at the very least, building #7 was 100% a controlled demolition. Although there are literally hundreds of discrepancies, and unexplained things surrounding 9/11, I consider the collapse of building #7, and the fact that Controlled Demolition (the Company) was hired for site clean-up to be an unexplainable coincidence. The fact that we spent much less than the investigation of Flight 800 is also questionable. The destruction of the crime scene evidence is inexcusable. I did not witness any raging infernos that the media claims existed on 9/11.

I'm a professional engineer with over 40 years of experience. I'm currently licensed in three states: Oregon, Washington, and Alaska. My education and experience relate to the properties of materials used in building port, harbor, and bridge infrastructure. As a licensed civil engineer I have been trained and tested in competency related to civil engineering including structural design and the behavior of building materials. My formal education in engineering and related fields was at the University of Oregon, Oregon State University, and the University of Alaska at Fairbanks. I was trained in arctic engineering in Alaska, where I worked on the Alaska pipeline project for Bechtel. My job included monitoring controlled demolition work to create a cut at the summit of the Brooks Range, in preparation for road and pipeline construction.
Like others who have commented I also have a huge question about how WTC building 7 came down later in the afternoon of September 11th. By visual observation, all three buildings exhibited free fall characteristics very similar to characteristics of a controlled demolition. Reviewing literature that described the structural members I have serious doubts regarding the free fall collapse of the interior columns of WTC 1 and 2 buildings over a distance of close to 100 floors as a result of a limited amount of jet fuel. It seems more likely that the majority of fuel burned quickly near the point of impact, consistent with other aircraft crashes. The huge fireball and black smoke observed shortly after the impact suggests the majority of fuel burned quickly and the fire became oxygen depleted. There was likely not enough fuel reaching the lower floors to cause a complete collapse of either building. There were reports of nanothermite in the dust, of molten steel in the basement, and of local fires burning for a week or more after the event. There were reports of multiple and sequential explosions. Some explosions were even reported prior to the impact of the aircraft. These facts all raise more questions about how the buildings may have actually been brought down.

I first became aware that the official government story regarding the building collapses was suspect after attending the 911-Inquiry Conference in San Francisco in March 2004. Since that time, I have been part of the 9-11 Truth Community, and have kept abreast of the developments arising from the ongoing research efforts of a number of dedicated individuals. In particular, watching video footage of the building collapses, hearing the numerous eye-witness accounts of explosions prior to the buildings collapsing, and learning that molten steel was present in the building debris (which, due to the laws of physics, could not possibly have arisen from a hydrocarbon fire--even under ideal circumstances--given the significantly higher melting temperature of steel), lead me to believe that the official story is simply not plausible. Learning more recently that evidence of nano-thermite was discovered in a sample of the building material, was particularly disturbing and I believe strongly that we need to push for a new investigation into the events of 9-11.

I have seen the video of Rumsfeld stating that there was trillions of dollars missing from the Pentagon the day before 911 and suddenly found the day after...yet the clerical areas of those records surely were destroyed? As time passed it seemed to me that many in the USA had gotten past that uneasy feeling and I assumed that the Americans must have been better informed as they, as a nation, were quite comfortable with the Official explanation of the events of 9/11. My Canadian stomach has always felt uneasy whenever the events of that day come up. Now that I have learned about, and fully understand the psychology of cognitive dissonance, I no longer believe that the Canadian Education System is light years ahead of the American Education System ... but to anyone on the planet outside of the 50 States unaware of the power of cognitive dissonance who reads through the comments of an online article questioning the Official Explanation of the Events of 9/11 that had an audience of mainly US citizens, Americans completely come across as uneducated knuckle dragging obnoxious boobs. The people of the USA need to unlearn the, 'my country, right or wrong', mentality and learn the, 'right is right and wrong is wrong', mentality before the 99% good people let the 1% despicable people destroy the entire country. There are so many things wrong with the Official Explanation of the only 3 Steel Framed Skyscrapers to collapse due to fire ... all on the same day [9/11/2001], no less ... that only a very patriotic nation of good souls suffering from an epidemic mass state of cognitive dissonance could not see, and feel in their guts, the glaringly obvious lies.

The lack of answers and questions in the NIST report is outrageous and therefor need further investigation. It's clear that there were in fact a controlled demolition which leads one to think that the official statement from NIST and other government officials is borderline false and untrue. I refuse to believe that the buildings collapsed because of the airplane impacts alone or the statement that office furniture could melt steel, it defies basic science and psychics and the gravitational laws which we all are bound by. After watching, reading and hearing footage and information on 9/11 over the years I truly believe it is physically impossible that 3 buildings with that much steel in them could just fall at free fall speeds with little resistance and straight down with total structural failure without assistance from explosives. I am not an architect or engineer but one does not have to be to realize the collapses of all 3 towers violated basic physics. For the building to drop at freefall for at least eight stories all of its energy had to go into accelerating there had to be NO RESISTANCE, NIST said that is what freefall would imply when they were still denying freefall of WTC7. You can look up What a gravity-driven demolition looks like on YouTube and if you measure the buildings falls on 911 there is no jolt like there would be in a gravitational collapse. One also does not need to be an expert to discover Paul Bremer's connections to the WTC's and to the Bush Admin., Rumsfeld's actions and inactions that day or the red flags in the aftermath of the attacks, the denial of evidence of molten iron and concrete and of explosions, the denial of freefall, the destruction of evidence, making things like the data on WTC7's collapse secret, Bush Admin. resisting any investigation into 9/11 for over a year then appearingbefore the 9/11 Commission only on the conditions that Bush and Cheney testify together not separate as requested, NOT Under Oath and behind closed doors. Even 6 of 10 9/11 commissioners have said they didn't get the information and that it was a coverup. There is much, much more but you get the idea there is evidence all over the place showing the official story is nothing but lies and omissions.
The videos of all 3 collapses defy the various official explanations 'experts' have put forward and the official explanation of the total collapse doesn't exist they merely state once collapse initiated 'global collapse was inevitable'. Their data showing how the collapse of WTC7 started is secret and been denied when requested under FOIA by a registered engineer. They found evidence of steel that was attacked by oxidation and sulfidation and melted during the FEMA investigation and had plenty of eyewitness testimony and sound evidence of explosions yet NIST did not test for explosives or incendiaries and NIST's John Gross denied there was any evidence of molten steel, he didn't want to look at the evidence either. The oral histories of the firemen that had a lot of references to explosions weren't released until 2005 because of a lawsuit and after the 9/11 Commission was already over they didn't include those references in the Commission.

I watched the live footage when the jets hit the two towers. I also noted the explosions from lower in the buildings, as well as the other building. There was no contact between the planes and the other building. Nothing from the twin towers hit that building. Other than demolition, there was no reason for that building to fall down.

I am not an Architect or Engineer but with the amount of evidence that is available, the official story for how the 2 WTC towers fell is just laughable and the supposed story for how Building 7 fell is just an insult to the intelligence of everyone on Earth.
There is literally mountains and mountains of evidence on 9/11, too much to list here but for me some of the most damning evidence is: the fact the towers fell at all! Building 7 in free fall for 2.25 seconds, FEMA appendix C, thermate and iron microspheres found in all WTC dust samples, molten metal and extremely high temperatures, the government not wanting to investigate at all and then after stalling for over a year the government impedes the investigation, many witnesses to explosions and video evidence of explosions simply suppressed and denied, NIST REFUSING to test for explosives and sulfidation even after FEMA recommended testing and NIST said they would test all recommendations and then not testing for anything. And then Dick Cheney and President Bush only meeting TOGETHER behind close doors with the 9/11 Commission rather than separately as requested, NOT under oath, NO transcript AND kept secret. Something is seriously wrong here, these are just some of the huge red flags for anyone that looks into what happened on 9/11.
