PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

I became interested in a possible cover up of the true nature of the collapse of the WTC towers after reading some of Dr. Steven Jones research on the matter. Dr. Jones was an archeologist/physicist at BYU before resigning due to the controversial nature of his research into the 9/11 attacks. BYU had no desire to have their name associated with controversial topics of political nature, as I'm sure it is something most institutions would seek to avoid. Dr. Jones makes a compelling case for controlled demolition on the WTC towers.

I've never been able to explain how the towers collapsed as they did if the collapse wasn't 'assisted' by explosives. I believe 85-90% of the towers below the point of impact couldn't have fallen because of the forces of the impacts and the heat generated by the burning jet fuel.

The events of 9/11 are a large reason that I signed up to serve my country. Now, thanks to organizations such as AE, and knowing there was a third building destroyed, I see the plausibility that there is more to the story than what has been presented to us. I certainly concur that there should be an unbiased re-investigation. The videos and other public resources showing the collapse of WTC 7 do not suggest nor support collapse by common office fire, in my opinion.

No doubt a controlled demolition, steel framed structure's of that size and weight can't collapse in under 2 hours due to jet fuel. Earned Bachelor's at Temple University, during which I interned with the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation. Upon graduation I spent six months working as a construction materials inspector. This was mostly based around soils but would include concrete, masonry, and steel at times. Then I worked as a project engineer at a general contracting firm for 16 months. I currently now work for one of the largest curtainwall companies in the nation. We are responsible for designing and building most sytems. My current role is in a program in which I train for 2.5 years under every discipline in the company (i.e. estimating, design, engineering) before I enter into project management.
I found the presentation to almost unrefutable. The clear evidence that the building fell at free fall speed with almost no resistance was really eye opening. It was the first time I had watched the scene since in occured in on 2001, when I was only 15 years old. The next compelling argument that really stuck with me was the fact that no steel building in history has ever failed due to fire. With this is mind, building 7 has no reason to have fallen on just small office fires. These are just some highlights to to a story that deserves independent investigation.

Not having been directly involved with architectural design or construction, I'm not qualified to comment specifically about the collapse of the 3 World Trade Center buildings; however, I find it incredulous that these 3 buildings would all collapse in on themselves. Having watched many demolition (History & Science Channels) teams attempt the best possible scenarios for destructing structures of all sizes, shapes and under various circumstances, it seems to me questions about the 3 WTC collapses (all similar) have not been adequately answered.

All Architects, Technicians & Engineers are required to design buildings for 'proportionate collapse' (being that a building is designed to limit an area of failure adjacent to the supporting columns in question). If an area centred around the failure of a single column were to be true as 'officially true' - in no way would could the whole building be brought down in such a uniform and coordinated manner.

I studied at the University of Rhode Island and spent many years as a temp employee working all over the country trying to learn as much as I could. Building 7 fell so quickly that it overcame all forces of friction. No direct hit to Building 7 fell due to fire (steel structure) WTC Twin towers began their fall with tops leaning yet the building collapsed straight on top of itself. Numerous Picture show molten lava at the base of the structure. Twisting and collapsing steel can not provide enough heat to achieve molten lava state.

Too many coincidences to be just an accident - especially Bldg 7 collapse and the fact the Larry Silverstein just happened to agree to purchase all of the buildings for $3 billion with a $128 million down payment, then takes out an insurance policy for destruction by terrorism shortly before the incident, and begins a nearly impossible and very costly undertaking of asbestos removal and remediation in all of the buildings - which sounds like the perfect opportunity to set thermite charges under the guise of doing asbestos removal - but who provided the tons of thermite is the last remaining unanswered question ???

Marine Structural Designer with over 30 years experience. I have experience in structural design as it relates to the marine industry and am very familiar with the strength of materials as it relates to steel structure.
Having worked in the design of structural components of both ships and drill rigs, I am very familiar with the behavior and strength of structural components and structures built with steel. Up until recently, I somewhat begrudgingly accepted the official story without giving it much analytical thought. However, it is now my observation, after viewing the evidence presented at AE for 9/11 truth, that there can be no other conclusion than what is reached here. The steel was obviously destroyed by deliberate means causing the collapse of the 3 WTC buildings and not by the relative low temperature office fires resulting from jet fuel as claimed by the official (NIST) report. Steel is manufactured to withstand enormous stresses under both heat and weight forces. These were not only steel buildings but steel reinforced with concrete specifically designed to resist the forces of a plane crash and the ensuing fires that would result. The structure can only collapse in the manner the WTC building collapsed if enough energy was placed on them and that at every level of the structure. No heretofore known examples of such a cause has ever been observed in steel structures except in a controlled demolition. The implications of these facts are mind numbing and I do not take this statement lightly. I do fear for my country and so hope that my participation in this petition will in some way help in getting an independent study done that will examine all of the available evidence and come to a conclusion based in fact and science.

More than 10 years with the same doubts. WTC 7 freefall is a proof behind the whole story. I'm happy that there are people out there who are unsatisfied with the official version. it sounds like a big lie to me. I feel really uncomfortable when i think back of that day. I can't imagine how people that lost parents or sons can feel. peace.

I am a 20-year-old, Iranian-American male currently in my third year of education at Fordham University at Lincoln Center. I intend to graduate in 2013 with a bachelor of the arts degree in theater performance. I attended Redwood High School in Larkspur, CA and graduated in 2009. Although I have directed my life path toward the arts, I have always been passionate about the fields of math and science. In high school, I was enrolled in AP BC Calculus among other AP classes, receiving a 5 on all of my AP tests. I hope not to be dismissed for my primary interest in the arts.
The more I research the events that occurred on 9/11/01, particularly in lower Manhattan, the more doubts I have about the official explanation(s). The free-fall of World Trade Center 7 strikes me as extremely suspicious. My suspicions lead me to support the prospect of an unbiased, independent investigation of 9/11.
