On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

I graduated mechanical engineer cum laude (3.4 / 4.0 GPA) from Auburn University, AL in 2007. I got a job right out of college with the US Army Corps of Engineers and became a mechanical quality assurance building inspector for 3 years with the government as a civil servant, and also a project engineer of 6 months. Seeing that the finances of that organization were totally corrupt, with 7 out of 7 buildings in North Carolina and Georgia costing 200, 300 dollars a square foot to renovate when by contract they should be no more than 150 to build, I left USACE. At the same time I was waking up to 9/11 truth, and found the materials Wikileaks was putting out about our operations in Iraq and Afghanistan. I began speaking out online, and have not stopped since. I estimate I have told 8 million people through the internet about the corruption that lies at the core levels of our governments.
Of the many valid arguments about why controlled demolition brought down three buildings on 9/11/2001, I find this the most easily convincing: That 15 floors cannot crush the many dozens more floors below, I think it was 80 or 90, as is claimed about one of the towers that fell. The upper 15 floors would have disentegrated into nothing after falling on 15 floors if we are to believe that the floors were totally crushed into powder under the influence of gravity alone.

The days following 9/11, as the news reported out on TV, I was standing alone in my living room and watched for the first time the third building collapse. I said out-loud to myself, 'that's a demolition'. From observation alone, it clearly was a demolition as the building uniformly collapsed in free fall. This made me more carefully observe the collapse of the twin towers as the video footage was replayed on TV. The more I watched the replays, both buildings also uniformly collapsed in free fall. Then weeks, months after the 9/11, there were news reports about the sustained extreme temperatures in the rubble. The remains of the building collapse was mainly dust, There were no body parts, no bones, no office furniture etc. Later I learned that the official explanation was that the buildings collapsed from the fire. I knew there was definitely more going on than fire to take down all three buildings in uniform free fall, with the remains being only dust at extreme high temperatures.

Too many facts don't add up, especially the collapse of WTC #7 and all evidence pointing to a controlled demolition. I received a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Texas Tech University in December 2007. I have internship experience at Freese & Nichols, Inc. in Dallas, Texas, and Parkhill, Smith & Cooper, Inc. in Lubbock, Texas. WTC Building 7 fell uniformly as if each level of the building had collapsed in succession, strongly suggesting that explosives were planted in the building. If explosives were planted in WTC 7, then the twin towers could have also been rigged with explosives. The failure of the twin towers appeared to be the result of a more complex explosive sequencing. The official pancake theory of collapse does not legitimately explain why the portion of each tower located above the point of impact of the airliner was not slowed by the mass of the building below.

I am in agreement with the forensic analysis of Dr. Steven Jones regarding the chemistry and topology of the pulverized concrete residue deposited on the buildings and streets of NYC. Forceful air solidification of molten metals and alloys is a common method for producing spheroidal particles for microelectronic metallic pastes. Steel would behave the same way when exposed to the high aluminum/iron oxide exothermic reaction temperature and forceful expulsion.

I was always wondering about how they could collapse under the circumstances... since, while growing up, we used what was known as primus which is a kerosene burning appliance.. (kerosene is the major component of jet fuel). While cooking using kerosene in the most efficient manner (hottest possible flames), the appliance was made of very thin steel and our vessels were also very thin. They did not melt or distort ever, even when used for hours. When I saw the collapse of Bldg. 7 (several years later) that clinched it for me.

Collapse of the three high-rise buildings on 11 Sept 2001 seems improbable as a sole consequence of the airplanes striking the two world trade center buildings. The circumstances of building 7 failing in the same manner as the twin towers is even more improbable. Photographs and video of the impact area on the Pentagon show little evidence of the airplane that reportedly struck the building.

When you watch the videos and listen to firefighter testimony, it appears that the 3 buildings exploded. If there was a point of failure the building would have toppled asymmetrically and not at free fall speed as the supports below the fires would not have melted. Bones and dust were scattered many blocks away and a collapse does not support this but an explosion would explain it. Why not investigate how the terrorists planted the explosives in the building beforehand? Why not test the dust for thermite or nano-thermite? I would like to know the truth of what has happened. I have moved out of the United States and have converted my dollars to other currency until I can trust those in power again.

The fact that the information is coming from degreed and licensed professionals in the Architecural and Structural Engineering community provides a level of credibility that will hopefully propel the issue into the public spotlight. I was skeptical until I recently read about the nano-thermite particles independently found in the WTC dust remnants. Coupled with the facts: that NIST did not test for thermite or explosives; NIST avoids the thermite discussion; and the pancaking collapse of the 3 buildings that looks exactly like a controlled Las Vegas style hotel demolition; denial seems impossible. NIST officials should be indicted.

If the official explanation is true, it follows that all the events that took place in 9/11 defy engineering and physics principles, but most importantly, they defy logic. By having the most basic experience with mechanical phenomena you can clearly see that the top of the South Tower should have continued falling off to the side of the building when it tilted immediately after the collapse started. The only reasonable explanation is that it encountered no resistance as it fell or that it was pulverized in mid air.

While WTC 1 & 2 are not quite as obvious, possibly due to size and scale, WTC 7 is obvious that all supports were removed not only for free fall speed but for level roof-line fall. All supports would have to be removed simultaneously for this type of event.

After viewing video evidence of the structural debris from the basement of the WTC buildings, and the angle of the sheared steel columns, it concerned me that this did not look like normal structural failure. In addition, video evidence of building 7's collapse was disturbing in that that building sustained no damage from the attacks - so why did it collapse (and in such a controlled manner). The plumes/puffs of smoke from the sides of the building appear similar to controlled demolition charges.

I was involved with the development of the corrective actions department for Cooper Nuclear Station. I had extensive training in root cause investigations. I performed a simple energy analysis that can be performed by anyone who has taken high school physics or mathematics. The calculation shows WTC 1 & 2 did not contain sufficient potential energy to cause a progressive gravitational collapse. My calculation takes the entire mass of the building and distributes it evenly on every floor. This is overly conservative since the mass per floor is greater at the bottom because of the heavier structural columns. I also did not deduct any mass for any material that fell outside of the building footprint. Only material falling within the footprint of the building could have caused damage to a lower portion of the building. The energy of material that damaged surrounding buildings was not available to damage lower portions of the WTC 1 or 2. The energy calculation was based on the building material releasing its potential energy (the only energy available for destruction) by falling all the way down to ground level. The pulverized concrete released its energy very slowly as it drifted to the ground and was not available to destroy any building structure below it. - - My calculation shows that if all of the potential energy contained within the Tower was transferred to all of the surface area of all of the Tower floors, they would only be subject to 1,200 ft-lb/sq-in. Hardly enough to pulverize all the concrete let alone destroy all the structural steel columns and supports. This is why structural steel buildings do not simply fall due to gravity alone. Additional energy had to be involved to cause the destruction that was observed. Controlled demolition is the only possible explanation. The laws of nature cannot be violated. - - The WTC 7 free fall also violates the laws of nature.

I tend to view conspiracy theory material as a skeptic, and this is how I approached this issue. After reading peer reviewed studies done at Brigham Young University, I began taking the issue seriously. The fact that many other high-rise structures have sustained fires for long durations without structural failure really makes me question how Jet A fuel burned at atmospheric conditions (sustained fires, post-explosion) could possible generate heat necessary to compromise the structural integrity of the steel to result in structural failure. The near free-fall collapse speeds (documented on video) of the buildings doesn't seem possible from a localized structural failure. If there was structural failure as a result of fire and impact, I would expect an asymmetrical failure of the buildings however the buildings almost entirely upon themselves. I would like to see some more research done upon this subject.

I had a DUT physical measurement, universite paris XIII (physics, chemistry, optics, electronics, mechanics, chromatography, wave physics ...etc) and a CESI Level2 generalist engineer diploma, with career in IT specialization (11 years experience so far).
I think that the free fall speed of the 3 towers is really strange, lack of rational explanation and requires a serious investigation. As of now, the WTC7 collapse remains a mystery for me.

My education has been in electronics and mechanical technology. I worked for RACAL-DATACOM for 25 years, where I was a power transformer design engineer, production engineer, and component engineer. I am now retired, and spend most of my time designing and building electronic and mechanical devices. My hobbies are scientific research and experiments, and my two grand children.
I would agree that there can be no other logical explanation from the evidence to date except that a controlled demolition using the latest technology of ordnance was involved. All three buildings collapse in the same manner? Impossible! If someone reaches into a haystack and pulls out a needle, he is lucky, if he reaches in again and gets another needle, wait a minute something is not right here, and if he reaches a third time and gets a needle, well the answer is quite simple. The haystack is full of needles! IT WAS PLANNED!

I bought and read the 911 Commission Report a few years ago. After I learned about WTC 7 and saw the footage of it collapsing I began to have serious doubts about the official story.

I'm a civil engineer with over 17 years of experience in transportation. My study of the WTC-7 collapse is not from a structural engineering perspective, only straight physics. I look forward to a structural engineer providing a more reasonable explanation for the rate of collapse.
I can't get past the consistency of the WTC-7 collapse and any number of controlled demolition operations. I've looked at overall time of collapse vs. free fall and from a conservation of momentum point of view. The correlation is striking and hard to explain without a simultaneous failure of all support within the WTC-7.

Trying to find answers about what happened on Sept 11th 2001, I was struck by the evidence that proved the official story is doubtful. Later I was more struck about why I've never read about these discrepancies in the newspapers or seen anything about it on TV. I hope a new investigation will give real answers about how the three high-rise buildings could collapse.
