PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

My designs are of dynamic (moving) mechanisms meant to work in the real world and, as such, must follow the laws of the physics of moving bodies. My work involves fabrication of mechanisms and other parts often made by heating and gas welding mild steel and 4130 (chrom-moly) steel.
The collapse of any of the three WTC towers that fell on 9/11/2001 in NYC could not have happened as quickly as they did or as neatly as they did, straight down into their own footprint if gravity provided the only collapse energy. This means that the conclusions drawn by the US government and NIST are incorrect. The event is critically important, perhaps the most important event in US recent history. We must get this right.

I was first introduced to 911 around 2005/2006 when I saw 3 documentaries, Loose Change, 911 Mysteries: Demolitions, and Fahrenheit 911. While at that point in time, I was not very convinced by some points shown in them, the one that caught my attention instantly was the towers falling. The more I watched it, the more I was convinced there was something very seriously wrong here. In the recent past, I have revisited 911, and had a look at it in a more objective manner. Here is what stands on top of my list today: 1. Eyewitness reports and video evidence have been completely ignored and kept aside. I would think, this is the first step when it comes to solving any crime. One need not look further to be convinced that something is seriously wrong with the 911 investigation and media reports!!! 2. Three buildings that are designed to withstand enormous loads, 2 of which are 110 stories tall, and had an acre sized floors, and both falling at free fall speed like there is absolutely no resistance below. Seriously? Did the building resistance decide to take an abrupt vacation and crumple down to earth? 3. The energy simply doesn't even begin to add up for the buildings to get demolished! I don't even need to get a calculator. A building with an acre floor span, 110 stories tall, is designed to take loads multiple times its actual load. The energy required to demolish such a building and so quickly, is off the charts. Anyone who has a basic understanding of real world science will tell you that the massive energy hole between what was needed and what was available means that the extra energy had to come from another source. 4. WORST CASE scenario, if something seriously had gone wrong in the buildings, I would absolutely expect the buildings to tilt and fall over. Again, this is a worst case scenario!! Falling straight down through themselves and their enormous resistance, and this at free fall speed, is not even a possibility here. No way. Not happening. 5. The buildings crushed/demolished themselves in such a way that would make it seem that buildings are brittle by nature. 6. If 911 happened the way it was told, it should be called The Amazing Coincidences Day! There were that many amazing co-incidences and all in the same day. Even if one of these amazing coincidences happened on one day alone, would be quite amazing, and we saw a spate of these happen all on the same day. Jaw dropping!!! Enormous capital is controlling most of our planet, and it has strategically made media very expensive. This has in turn coupled media tightly with enormous capital; hence, media is now the voice of capital interests. This is why media is no longer free and unbiased, and exactly why mainstream media does not cover 911.

My sister in laws twin brother, who had been retired, was called to help out on that fatal day. He was an expert in getting people out of burning buildings. My daughter was living in the downtown NYC area on 9/11. She insisted that the area had been declared 'safe', to which I answered, They are lying! If the city and federal governments lied about the air quality, endangering the lives of hundreds of thousands of people, why should we trust their veracity re the collapse of the towers? Clearly calming the masses took priority over investigating the actual event. The removal and disposal of the debris calls to mind the fact that the car in which JFK was assassinated was flown back to DC and scrubbed down, removing all possible evidence. I've taught in Universities, language centers and most recently a high school. I first became suspicious about the the 9/11 attacks the day after on 9/12 when the Vice President, Dick Cheney stated on camera that there would be no independent inquiry, and that any inquiry would be done by the White House. Because of the severity of the attack and the prominent world wide coverage that it was getting this seemed like a very suspect course of action for the White House to take. A few years later I came across a news story that referred to a study of samples from the wreckage at ground zero done by Professor Steven Jones, a physicist working at Brigham Young University. He claimed to have found traces of vaporized steel in the samples he took from ground zero and pointed out that aviation fuel and the things found in an office don't burn at temperatures high enough to vaporize steel. It was at this point that I became pretty sure that 9/11 was probably an inside job. I'd already read Project For A New American Century so I knew something was wrong. I started digging and haven't stopped since then.
In the history of the world, no steel skyscraper has ever collapsed due to fire. On 9/11, the official story claimed that three did. The buildings collapsed in almost free fall speed, the top of the buildings plunging through thousands of tons of concrete and steel as if it weren't there. They fell almost symmetrically, imploding in on themselves, creating great clouds of dust. The concrete was pulverized, the steel supports cut and vaporized and traces of nanothermite, a high-tech incendiary used by the military and demolition companies to increase the heat generated in explosions were found in the dust. Eye witnesses have stated that they heard a series of explosions in these buildings and that after they collapsed pools of molten metal could be seen beneath the wreckage 4 and 5 weeks after the attacks. These facts indicate that the World Trade Towers and Building 7 were brought down by controlled demolition and not as a result of structural failure due to fire.

I have been a community college instructor for 15 years; my wife and I have also been involved in real estate investment and property management for 25 years (continuing).
At the time of the events, I thought the destruction of the towers was too sudden and explosive and complete to be the result of fire. But having no experience with steel frame buildings, I had no way of analyzing what had happened. Later I saw the photos of sheered off support members and learned that a BYU physics professor had identified thermite in the debris of the buildings. And I saw the films of building 7 falling in the rapid, uniform way that controlled implosions go down. The whole thing made no sense. It looked like deliberate destruction. So I am glad to see that professional architects are addressing these questions at last.

I am a 59 year old teacher who has been investigating the events of 911 on my own. As I attempt to put the facts together, they simply do not add up. It concerns me that so many Americans do not believe the official story. I believe that we will eventually discover the truth.
There are so many inconsistencies in the official 9/11 investigation that another investigation needs to be gotten underway as soon as possible. Americans must know the truth of this day. Questions I have specifically are why was Norad nowhere near Washington the day of the attack, how were cell phone calls made from such high altitudes when it was not technologically possible at that time, why were certain people told not to fly on that day ie Willie Brown of San Francisco and why were the remains of the event sent off to Europe so quickly? How is it possible that the steel beams melted at temperatures far less than that known to melt steel, why was such an enormous amount of insurance placed on the buildings right before the events?

I am 26 years old. I graduated from Norwich High School, New York. I have attending SUNY Morrisville and SUNY Cortland and have a degree from both colleges. I have an ASS in Liberal Arts and Social Sciences and a BA-ASP, Spanish adolescent education. I have studied American literature, history and culture and well and the Spanish Language and Cultures. I am attending SUNY New Paltz in Fall 2010 for TESOL.
I have been an active citizen since I was 18. I vote and listen to current events. I am interested in World History and am concerned with consipracies and the governments of the world not working together to learn from history. With technology and nuclear power the world is in danger. History can repeat itself on a much larger scale. I feel that the USA owes its' people and truthful and logical explanation of the occurrences that took place at the WTC.

I am 38 years old, middle class, an empiricist, a pragmatist, and a left-leaning political moderate. I am a professional educator and musician. I am a family man and a homeowner. I have an elementary understanding of the laws of physics and I have a relatively strong understanding of logic, rhetoric, and psychology.
I think the U.S. government's official theory about the causes of the collapses of buildings at the World Trade Center is obviously a lie. I think controlled demolition is the only reasonable explanation for what happened on 9/11. I think the mainstream corporate media is guilty of gross negligence and fraud for not reporting on the facts of the matter.

I still remember watching that first TV broadcast with news of the 911 events and as if I was having an out of body experience, I sensed intuitively that we were NOT getting the straight story. And then when the camera 'conveniently' spotted the 'passport of one of the terrorists' lying in the rubble, thereby 'proving who was behind the attack', an alarm went off! That clinched it for me, and was all I needed to know that we were so obviously being lied to. Then watching Larry Silverstein 'shoot himself in the foot' when he admitted that he ordered crews to 'pull Building seven' it was nearly impossible to think that anyone out there could actually still believe the lies being told! I have the DVD that your organization produced. Not sure what more can possibly be added to that to try and convince the masses of what really happened. It's all there. It is infuriating to me that this travesty has been allowed to continue! But considering what's currently happening in Washington, it seems that the truth about anything is hard to come by! Keep fighting the good fight! ...

This horrifying event was allowed to lead to the utter destruction of Afghanistan and Iraq, and abundant independent film of the double collapse (within minutes) at freefall (demolition) acceleration, offer ample proof of the urgency of impartial investigation! As a private researcher of the JFK, MLK, RFK murders, as well as a student of the Vietnam Coverups, it is clear to me that our citizens are easily (and willingly?) kept in political ignorance. That may be their own problem, but if it leads to the oppression of huge segments of the world population, then it becomes a matter of deep public concern...

U.S. citizen living in Sweden since 50 years. I am a peace and environmental activist and Chaiman of Stockholm Peace Committee. I have worked as project leader for 20 years in environmental education projects in St. Petersburg, Russia which are supported by the Swedish government.
I am thoroughly convinced that these buildings cannot have collapsed as the former report has said. Anything other than a new investigation done by truly independent engineers is a scandal, and the rage of the people throughout the world for not reviewing this event will grow. It must be reviewed!

Full of doubt. Gosh 57 more characters about doubt. Why give me a box when all it contains is dust? I studied 911 in depth immediately after the event and found out through interviews of the WTC architect that they were designed to withstand plane crashes. I hope this site is true.

I can't believe the official story; many respected science oriented professionals have much better explanations than those who appear to be 'used' by the media.
