To the Members of the House of Representatives and of the Senate of the United States of America,
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

I have a BSME. I have designed aircraft structures and steel stadium structures. I'm also a pilot with an instrument rating, and I've built an experimental aircraft. I have performed FEA analysis throughout my career and I understand structures very well.
I absolutely knew the second I watched the videos of these buildings falling that it had to have been done using explosives, the way they intentionally take down buildings. It requires immense preparation, planning and care to make a building fall straight down and not damage surrounding structures. The likelihood of a building falling that perfectly through any other means is essentially impossible. It is preposterous to suggest that these building fell from the aircraft strikes and the fires that resulted. I am very glad to see that something is being done to try to shed light on this.

As a commercial aircraft mechanic, I'm aware of how fragile an aluminum & composite structure is. I always thought it would be a great to see an aluminum aircraft try to fly though a steel girder structure. Just the frame so you can clearly witness steel box frames cut the aircraft to ribbons w/ little significant damage. Of course the engines may seem like bowling balls, but how likely are they to cause damage to more than a very small part of a large structure? Keep the faith guys!

I have a Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of British Columbia, Canada and eleven years of professional experience. Currently I am a senior engineer for a Danish company that makes wind turbine blades. I am part of the Composite Mechanics group that is responsible for determining and documenting the mechanical properties of the materials and substructures that are used in the blades. I am also currently attending a masters level fracture mechanics course at DTU (Danish Technical University) in order to become more specialized within my field. Previously I have worked in Vancouver, Canada with hydrogen fuels and their cooling and exhaust gas dilution systems and in Melbourne, Australia as an engineer designing industrial wheels and castors.
From my understanding of solid mechanics, I don't see how a steel constructed skyscraper can collapse under it's own weight at near free fall speed within it's own footprint. Steel is a ductile material and a space frame construction that is overloaded in compression will bend, buckle and twist, but will remain essentially as one structure. In my opinion, the failure mode observed for the twin towers can only be explained by a series of controlled explosions.

In December 2005 I received a B.S. Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Missouri - Columbia. Since then, I have worked in the construction industry designing electrical systems and managing the installation of electrical systems.
The question is all about investigation techniques: Look at the facts of the WTC, specifically Tower 7, collapses: 1) Terrorists used explosives on WTC 1 in 1993. 2) Over 118 first responders reported hearing explosions before all 3 collapses, many said it sounded like the 'bang-bang-bang' you hear during a demolition. 3) We have video, photographic and audio evidence of explosions after the impact and before collapse. 4) Live news was reporting multiple explosions, and the possibility terrorists also planted explosives. 5) Barry Jennings, the Emergency Coordinator for the NY Housing Authority reported explosions in Tower 7. He also reported being knocked down by explosions prior to the collapse of the tower. 6) Molten steel AND concrete were found at Ground Zero 'remember, hydrocarbon fires do not burn hot enough to melt steel or concrete.'N.F.P.A. 921- 19.2.4 Exotic Accelerants states that molten steel and concrete could indicate the use of exotic accelerrants, specifically Thermite. 7) WTC 7 was the first concrete and steel high rise to collapse during a fire that had not been struck by an aircraft. It was determined not to be significantly damaged by the falling debris, and diesel fuel tanks DID NOT contribute significantly to the fire (according to NIST final report 2008). So, with all these indicators, would you test for exotic accelerants/explosive residue/Thermite? How could you confirm or rule out the possibility that terrorists planted explosives in addition to the aircraft hits? Why does N.I.S.T. REFUSE to this day to test for exotic accelerrants in the most heinous crime in U.S. history? With the first high rise building collapses in history, why would N.I.S.T. NOT test for accelerants? Especially, with so many indicators, one in which we have lost so many lives, so many Brothers, so many Freedoms, and our Economy. I have not found a single fire investigator who can give a reason other than they didn't want to find exotic accelerants or they were incompetent! Well, if it was incompetence, we can go back and still test. If you can't answer why, then please take the time to investigate. Browse our website, and please sign the petition. Our communities trust us. If we let them know this is not how professionals investigate, or how we treat our Brothers and Sisters who gave so much, they will listen.

I am in agreement with the forensic analysis of Dr. Steven Jones regarding the chemistry and topology of the pulverized concrete residue deposited on the buildings and streets of NYC. Forceful air solidification of molten metals and alloys is a common method for producing spheroidal particles for microelectronic metallic pastes. Steel would behave the same way when exposed to the high aluminum/iron oxide exothermic reaction temperature and forceful expulsion.

After viewing the building 7 collapse, I have to say if somebody told me that a demolition expert was reducing building 7 to rubble I would agree. The thermite connection is strong evidence that somebody orchestrated cutting the under-pinnings of building 7 and probably had the twin towers prepared for demolition.

I am absolutely convinced, based on the pattern of structural collapse, the positive results for nano-thermite by Dr. Neils Harrit in his oft-cited paper, and the suspicious behavior of the government during and after the official investigation, that the Twin Towers and Building 7 were brought down via controlled demolition. I am well trained in the sciences and agree with you fully about the Towers being destroyed by explosives. The official explanation is outrageous and the way the media covered it up is even worse by calling us conspiracy theorists. Anyone who thinks 2 planes can bring down 3 towers, all constantly accelerating at freefall speed, with total dismemberment of its components, is absolutely deluded. This shows a lack of intelligence or respect for the fundamental laws of science, as well as for the thousands who perished. Molten metal seen at ground zero for 3 months while immersed in constant water irrigation is disgusting. The poor victims that were blown to pieces, along with the solid steel beams, 4 inch concrete floors and all it's internal components, deserve more respect than a generic cover up. We all need to know the truth for reference during our advancement into the future and as an explanation of what happened. No disaster in the past has ever been covered up with a false story, let alone an outrageously false story that defies science. God bless us all and bring those to justice who rigged the buildings with explosives and pulled the trigger on 9/11 after the planes hit. What a sickening way to die, especially for all of the firefighters and police officers who rushed in to save everyone. I pray the truth shall prevail in the future. Strength in numbers and I've found most people are open to hearing the true explanation so let us unite and get the word out globally. They will not be able to hide it any more.
