On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

I have 10 years of experience in the construction industry as an architect, mostly in conservation (as well as sustainable architecture). Conservation necessitates looking at old buildings and existing evidence of what happened in the buildings life. Looking at how buildings deteriorate or fail sometimes and assess method of rescue, reuse, adaptation and so on, is part of my everyday livelihood and experience.
Looking at the evidence of the 9/11 it makes me question what the media and government had broadcasted at the time, and that the debris was swept away so quickly without scientific investigation is not right. We need to learn from the experience, not run away from it. If we are to protect people's lives in the future, we need to know what the real destruction process was, how any aspect could be improved (whether it is building design/layout, engineering or security... ) and not let the distraction of the crashing planes play smoke and mirrors with us. The buildings fell very much straight down and were completely pulverized as if they were destroyed by controlled demolition. There is no other reasonable explanation given for the collapse of WTC7.

The appearance of controlled demolition by use of explosives is more than overwhelming when viewing the collapse of the Twin Towers. The evidence of the vertical cuts on the remaing standing columns is very powerful and conclusive. I have researched jet that crashed at Skranston,PA. and find there are many inconsistencies with the crash scene as compaared to other similar jet crash scenes, the lack of black box data only being one of many. I have also researched the crash data at the pentagon site and found there many holes in the official explanation of this crash as well. There are far too many unanswered questions and omission of facts in the official reports for them to have any credibility.

After being hit, the World Trade Center towers demonstrated their resilience by staying in place. But after an hour they collapsed at free fall speed, from what we are told is a fire initiated collapse. The idea that an office fire could demolish over 100 floors of building is absurd. I have to wonder - how did all of the core columns become dismembered, and how was a free fall collapse possible? I am a homeschool graduate living in Massachusetts. I became aware of the 9/11 truth movement in August 2009. Initially, I didn't accept the ideas I heard about the government knowing ahead of time, explosives planted inside the buildings, etc. But after careful research, I realized there were so many unanswered questions (like why Building 7 collapsed, which I only recently heard about). I acknowledge that I am a 9/11 truther, not a conspiracy theorist or terrorist. I have questions I want answered. It's my duty to inform others about this movement and defend those who believe 9/11 did not happen on its own.
My question is how the 3 buildings apparently collapsed straight down when the towers were mostly filled with smoke and there were no major fires at the time (as a firefighter said in the North Tower he was in just minutes before the collapse). Why have statements and interviews from firefighters and others on the scene been kept from the public? Why have communication recordings been kept private? We want answers. Many people label 9/11 truthers as terrorists or conspiracy theorists. When did it become wrong to ask questions the government doesn't want to answer? When did it become treasonous to think and ask something different from what people think happened? Unless the government provides clear answers about the true happenings on 9/11 this movement will continue to grow and proclaim the truth about what really happened.

I am a fiscally conservative registered Republican. I have worked in the energy/industrial business sector for over 20 years primarily in technical sales. I have stood shoulder to shoulder with hundreds of architects and engineers some of which hold my beliefs, but are afraid to come forward. Over my career I have been involved in everything from plant design, procurement, engineering planning, detailed engineering, construction, start-up, and operations & maintenance of commercial fossil and nuclear power facilities. Having worked closely with multi-disciplines (civil, mechanical, electrical, process) on a range of project scopes, (including structural projects) you develop an engineering intuition supported by years of experience. Anyone who has gained this intuition over time and reviews independent evidence available should immediately understand why the official story is utter and complete nonsense and unfortunately the most dangerous cover up the world has every witnessed. During the attacks on the morning of 9/11 I was in flight from Baltimore to Cleveland OH for an engineering business meeting. For many years I believed the official government /main stream story never talking the time from my busy schedule to review alternative presentations and theories. BY chance I saw the documentary Loose Change and then 9/11 Blueprint for Truth. It only took several hours of reviewing white papers by Steven Jones and others to see the unmistakable truth and mainstream cover up.
Regardless of your politics or your technical background, anyone who carefully considers the forensic data that is publicly available, combined with all the circumstantial evidence would at least call for a new independent public investigation. At a minimum there has been an obvious and continuous cover up of information both pre and post 9/11. For me there is no question that the official story is made up and full of critical holes that remain unanswered to this day. What the real story is time will tell because secrets are not kept forever. When I saw the footage of the collapse of the towers on the news later in the evening of 9/11, I was sitting with a colleague of mine and we both said, almost simultaneously, that looks like a controlled demolition. Dan Rather repeated something similar to what we had just said later in his report. That struck both of us as odd. I had an overwhelming intuitive feeling that this was true. I put it out of my mind for 2-3 years but have had a continuous nagging feeling in the pit of my stomach that something was out of joint, to put it lightly. For the last several years, I have looked at hours of footage, read and researched it, and that feeling has refused to leave. The official reports strike me as false. The feeling that much has been left out, glossed over, explained away, and outright ignored, has never escaped me. I do not, for one second, believe that the planes themselves could have done all of that. Building 7 is the one that really gets me. One does not need to be an architect or engineer to notice that this building was, with a good degree of certainty, brought down by controlled demolition - something that would have taken days to set up. This screams for a thorough investigation, and I'm happy that people are actively pursuing this. It is of the utmost importance that the American people know the real truth about what actually happened that day.

I have administrative assistant and word processing background, mainly with computer corporations, a major NY law firm, the newspaper field, and home building. I witnessed three buildings collapse on 9/11/01. I have combed through available evidence and have determined that these three collapses were the result of planned detonations, the type used by experts to bring down buildings into their own footprint. When I read and listen to those who say the buildings came down as a result of fire or some reason other than than detonation, those stories leave out known key evidence to make their case, which makes those stories weak. The facts are clear. The buildings were detonated.

As part of my degree in the School of Public and Environmental Affairs we had to read the entire 9/11 Commission Report and there was much to question as to factual evidence of what he report. This began my search for the truth.
There is an incredible lack of evidence to support the 9/11 Commission Report's reasoning on the collapses. Furthermore many of the commissioner's of the report stated publicly that they did not embrace the reports findings.

I am a tattoo artist/ painter. I am a history buff when it comes to American history. I feel it is my responsibility as an artist to be awake and aware of the most pressing issues facing us today in America.
The building collapses are just the tip of the iceberg for me. The witnesses at the pentagon and in shanksville add a whole different layer to 911. You don't need to be an engineer to see the fact that those buildings where brought down in a controlled demolition. There are many parallels between 911 and the JFK assassination. Watching the Oliver stone production give a good perspective on 911 indirectly.

Buildings do not collapse that way unless they were detonated. What is very interesting is that another building that went down and nothing happened to it. But when it did fall, it fell perfectly, just like a rigged demolition.
