PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

Seems to me that since explosives had been planted in WTC towers before 9/11 and the fact that the WTC 9/11 plane crashes weren't random (the towers were the target). It seems quite logical that some additional explosives were planted within the towers via insider or security breach to increase destructive impact of attack on towers.

I don't believe that the three buildings came down as a result of fires. They were steel buildings, and, from what I have read, jet fuel does not burn hot enough to burn steel. Also, the free-fall of the buildings appear to be that of a controlled demolition, not due to fires. The buildings came down so fast, and without stopping at each floor level, which doesn't seem possible, unless the columns were pulled out, as would have been done to start a controlled demolition.

Anyone who has ever witness a fire of any scale would realize that it burns asymmetric and causes unpredictable and imbalanced collapses. The absolute vertical collapse of even one tower due to an asymmetric fire is a near improbability. Three towers on the same day, one with minimal fire damage is a mathematical impossibility...unless it were intentional.

J'rg Schneider was appointed Professor of Structural Engineering at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zurich (ETHZ) in 1967. He retired in October 1999. Born in Cologne in 1934, he graduated as a civil engineer from the ETHZ in 1958 and worked as a research assistant until 1962. For another four years he worked in industry, where he mainly dealt with the problems of precast and prestressed concrete. As a professor at ETHZ, his research was in the field of safety and reliability in building construction. For many years he was active in various Swiss standardization committees. He was Chairman of the Safety Expert Group of AlpTransit (EGSi) which supported the project management of these two new transalpine railway tunnels in matters of operational safety. In 2000, together with former employees and friends, he founded the engineering office Risk&Safety AG.
Clearly, I cannot believe that the George W. Bush administration willingly sacrificed 3000 lives. I'm not a conspiracy theorist. But I am convinced that the group around Bush gratefully used this terrible event to start the long-planned war on terror. However, there are so many inconsistencies in the official reports on the tragic event and so many gaps, especially in the collapse of WTC7, that only a new independent investigation can confirm or delete suspicions and remove existing ambiguities. I therefore fully agree with the request to have the events re-examined independently. Of course, even a new investigation will not bring people back to life.

I hold two engineering degrees as indicated above (1971, 1972), but have not been employed as an engineer since 1978, when I followed other endeavors. My background and experience in engineering and the sciences have however continued to guide my daily work in those other endeavors and my consideration of issues such as what really happened on 911.
The official explanations of what happened on 911 are simply not plausible. I find the collection of evidence from Achitects & Engineers for 911 Truth to be compelling, and although the exact truths are difficult to discern, what this organization suggests must certainly come very close. Regarding in particular the destruction of the three World Trade Center buildings, I believe the use of explosives has now been amply proven to be fact.

My academic training was in civil structural engineering, and while I spent most of my career in space launch applications focusing on rocket structures, I managed the Ground Systems Structures Section at The Aerospace Corporation and have considerable practical experience with ground structures and facilities. I also have vast experience in failure investigations of launch systems and am well versed in the inter-disciplinary analyses -- thermodynamics, ballistics, structural dynamic and structures -- required to develop and explore credible hypotheses.
I was initially a skeptic regarding the possibility that the WTC was brought down by explosives. I erroneously thought that the conspiracy theories were based upon the notion that steel had to melt to precipitate a failure (it does not), and that rocket fuel doesn't burn at sufficient temperature to liquify steel (which is true). After reviewing the overwhelming evidence presented by the 911 Truth Organization, it is apparent to me that the steel did in fact melt, and that is incontrovertible evidence of the use of explosives. Together with the visual evidence, particularly that of WTC 7's signature implosion, there can be no doubt in the mind of anyone trained in structural engineering that these buildings were brought down by carefully placed explosive charges. NONE WHATSOEVER. As unthinkable as it is to me, it is hard to believe that anyone except agents of the U.S. federal government could have had the access and resources necessary to commit this atrocity.

I am a licensed mechanical engineer who has designed many commercial HVAC buildings and have been in the industry for about 10 years now. I have worked with structural engineers and understand the concepts necessary for structurally supporting a building. In addition, have received an education which includes materials failure, physics, structural analysis and other core classes which would help me understand a building's reaction to an impact of a plane and damage due to fire.
High rise steel buildings simply do not collapse due to fire. There is ample evidence of a controlled demolition and the rapid removal of debris implies a hurried non-investigated destruction of American property. This was a controlled demolition in which was not properly investigated. A travesty such as what happened on 9/11 should be thoroughly investigated and not swept under the rug. Building 7 is the proof necessary to warrant a different explanation as to who is responsible.

Like many I believed the official story but woke up to the truth on 911 about 4 years ago . There is no dought in my mind that the towers were brought down with demolition . This will be a very hard push given the amount of stone walling by the Gov ,industrial complex and the large corporations. Where are the bodies, and bolder's,if pancake wheres the spindal/core and what happen to the pile driver? what about history , there is none . Lots of firsts here and what about the black boxes? The pentagon, that place is loaded with cameras and yet they were more interested in the ones across the street and how did they know about them so fast unless it was planed out ahead of time , I could go on here but its a no brainer. What I would give to have the real footage of what happened that day , then again somebody's got it out there some where after all Bush claimed to have seen the first plane hit on 911 even though the only footage did not surface until two days later.

Video and eyewitness accounts support the story presented by the AE911Truth experts, which allegedly takes into account scientific and forensic evidence that was not even looked at by the minimal investigators following 9/11. I am deeply concerned that someone American at some point was able to order the removal and demolition of crime scene evidence. That person, and whomever followed the order, should be brought up on federal charges of crime scene evidence theft and destruction, should they not? Despite those attempts, it seems much evidence still exists in the form of dust samples that contain ample evidence capable of proving conclusively whether thermite, nano-thermite, or any other high explosives. In the name of justice, a public high profile investigation is the least that could be offered to the families, and to the world, which uses a scientific method to assess what actually brought down the WTC on 9/11. Let human history include the truth, however ugly and destabilizing it may be to those who actually perpetrated this travesty against mankind.

As the day of 911 unfolded, I became more and more convinced that what I was seeing was not the work of terrorists. I was astonished at how neatly and how fast the first tower collapsed into itself. After watching the second tower collapse, in the same perfect way, I was convinced that explosives had been placed in the buildings prior to that day. I am not a genius, but it looked pretty obvious to me what had caused the collapses. I found it hard to understand why everyone around me could not see the obviousness of what I saw. I realize now just how powerful that shock and awe moment was . It is hard for the average person to come to terms with and believe in such a shocking visual event. I realize that many people tend to ignore the truth because the alternative of dealing with the truth is so much more inconvenient. The truth is truly too inconvenient for many.

there are simply too many questions not satisfactorily answered, for the US Government to ignore the petitioners reasonable request for a factual and open investigation surrounding the 9/11 buildings' structural failures and any related phenomena. The buildings came down in there own footprint. These happen to be the only steel structure buildings to ever burn down. Furthermore, there was evidence of vaporized steel. Which, doesn't happen at 2700 degrees F.

WTC 7 collapsed with such precision and speed that I do not belive it was the result of fire alone. The odds of fire causing every beam to fail at the same time does not seem possible.
