To the Members of the House of Representatives and of the Senate of the United States of America,
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

In 1993, Brian Thompson joined the local combination volunteer fire department, working beside Seattle firefighters and trained at the Washington State Fire Academy. Seven years later, he earned his undergraduate degree in civil engineering from Marquette University, including a 12-month internship in fire protection engineering at a consultancy in downtown Chicago. For the next 2 years he continued to work as a volunteer firefighter. Thompson then attended Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) where he earned his Master's Degree in Fire Protection Engineering. While at WPI, he attended Professor Jonathan Barnett's building fire safety lecture on the first anniversary of 9-11, in which Barnett describing his involvement and experience as a FEMA investigator, and their findings. Thompson's coursework also included fire dynamics, risk management and forensic analysis. He holds professional licenses in both Fire Protection Engineering and Civil Engineering in multiple states, and came into the role of Principal in 2006 practicing fire protection engineering design and consulting.
The lack of the FEMA team's ability to conduct a proper investigation of the original collapse conditions, the explanation developed by the FEMA team, and the subsequent contradictory conclusion by NIST, raised questions. In an effort to answer these questions, I have researched various information and data compiled by others. My research has left these questions unresolved, and reinforced my doubt in the official story regarding the cause of collapse for both WTC towers and Building 7.

Watching the towers collapse on tv, it seemed impossible that a building could fall like that randomly. After watching loose change and the AE911 video, I know that it probably is impossible. I've been on the list of AE for 9/11 Truth since its inception. I believe without a doubt that the 9/11 event was a planned event designed to arouse patriotism and gain public support for the invasions of Afghanistan and Iraq. I also suspect that building 7 was the command center for the controlled demolition of WTC towers 1 and 2. WTC 7 was always the smoking gun for me. There is no way that this building collapsed without weeks/months of previous preparation. 9/11 was a 'false flag' event; there is no question in my mind.

As a student of architecture at Berkeley we witnessed a controlled demolition of a 12 story steel and concrete building in Oakland CA. We were impressed by the compact space that the structure collapsed into. I never forgot the image. Building 7 (and the towers, for that matter) identically matched this first hand observation when I saw them on the various newsreels and TV images that year and since.

The American Reichstag symbolizes the American Century and the American rulers and ruled in a most extraordinarily concise way. 9/11 reflects the psychologically gilded age in which we live. Just want the truth. The WTC7 especially. There are several differing theories out there most of which open the doors for the TRUTH which I am sure is not being told right now. As the towers went down it was obvious to me that they were 'taken down' like a professional demolition. The explosions on the lower floors prior to them collapsing is blatant. The evidence is overwhelming. No black boxes were found, but some paperwork from the plane survived? The nano explosive material, the cut steel beams, the K-9 dogs taken from the building the day before, the eye-witness accounts of explosions before the plane hit, etc... The official story is weak and hasn't responded to many of these issues. A plane hitting the top of a tower like that couldn't bring down the whole building, the way the building was observed to have come down. Shrapnel, or debris, from the WTC towers couldn't have possibly caused Building 7 to come down like it did.

I was pretty young when 9-11 happened. I think it was the day after my 16th or 17th birthday. All I knew then was this is way bigger than what they are telling us. I am eager to hear more.
Something doesn't seem right. How is it possible for the collapse to resemble a planned demolition. Especially when the towers were hit so close to the top. Maybe if they were hit near the base. And I have seen that movie LOOSE CHANGE and it gave me some insite but I know there is so much more to explore.

My opinion is that the buildings all had explosives planted in them. Mainly because of the fact that they fell at nearly free fall speed. And because no skyscraper has fallen due to a fire anywhere at any time in history. Jet fuel can't melt steel. The government said that the fire caused the steel to weaken not melt, so why weeks after the attack at ground zero steel was still melting cherry red? Steel melts at 2800'F so what could of melted the steel for weeks after 9/11? And why is building seven not in the 9/11 report?

There is no way the World Trade Center Buildings were taken down by two airplanes and the insuring fires. Only if you are willing to check your brain at the door of the phony government investigation, and ignore all the facts and evidence, could you come to such fatally flawed conclusions. Sadly, as usual, our own government officials are in a state of denial. This is true, at even the local levels of government. Sadder still is that the American people are willing to tolerate such nonsense from their elected representatives.
