PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

I happened to be at home on 9/11 and saw it live on TV. My mother said that she thought the towers would collapse, but I was sure that this would not happen, or only after a rather long time. And if it happened, then only the top floors above the impact zone would fall down. But then the towers were pulverized and I was sitting on the couch with my chin on the floor. All the evidence that has been found, as in the paper by Niels Harrit about thermite in the dust, confirms my initial doubt about the collapses.

Mr. Simmons studied at Brigham Young University, graduating with degrees in Russian and Civil & Environmental Engineering with an emphasis in structures. He had the unique privilege of being one of Dr. Steven Jones' physics students prior to 9/11, learning from him the principles of conservation of energy and momentum. Following his formal training, he returned to his native Santa Rosa, California and has worked for the past three years in the engineering profession, analyzing and designing water-based infrastructure and residential structures.
My initial exposure to the case for controlled demolition was as a result of a coworker, Ron Brookman, giving me a copy of one of Dr. Jones' papers. Knowing that I had attended BYU, Ron asked me if I had heard of him. I informed him that I had a physics class from him and vouched for his integrity as a scholar and person. Then I read the article. I was not taken easily by the hypotheses at first, and have to admit that, while the science was well-founded, my conscience did not want to let me accept this alternative theory and its startling consequences. I found myself challenging the points made, especially the symmetrical fall theory, and tried mentally to reason my way out of what I was slowly becoming convinced of. In the end, the science -- primarily, the near-freefall speed at which the buildings came down and the evidence of incendiaries in the rubble -- the testimonies, the pictures and video footage, and the structural drawings, which show a central core around which, even if the floors did progressively collapse due to weakening of the steel by heat, would have been left intact -- all these things convinced me that we did not have the full story as provided by NIST, FEMA, ASCE, and the WTC buildings' own structural engineer, Leslie Robertson. Getting to the bottom of what happened on 9/11 requires another serious look at the evidence, much of which has already been destroyed. Our representatives in Congress need to stand up and speak for us, not bow to the powers that, while they do much good, also have a tendency to threaten, incite fear in, and weaken us. I saw a bumper sticker that reads We must speak up, even if our voices shake. Such is the case here. Money, perceived civil order, and temporary stability are not worth rejecting truth - ever. In the end, the hard truth must be accepted, whatever it may be. We must suffer the consequences of our shameful mistakes and then start to heal the wounds. I am concerned with my profession's involvement in this apparent cover up and the media's refusal to address important questions for the reasons stated above. Nothing will happen and this will all evolve into another conspiracy theory, if it has not already, if we don't speak up resolutely now. Finally, I feel deeply for those whose loved ones were lost on 9/11 and indirectly through our questionable involvement in international affairs. I realize that my support of additional inquiries into what happened may seem like stirring the pot for people who simply want closure and to move on. I love my country and the unprecedented freedoms it provides. In order to preserve these freedoms, however, I feel that we must pursue the truth and responsibly deal with it, not close our eyes to it because of how painful it is.

I have been at MTSU for the last 16 years and taught a variety of courses mostly in electronics, microprocessors, and analog and digital systems. I attended and graduated PETROLEUM LABORATORY SPECIALIST SCHOOL, FORT LEE, VIRGINIA. I served as a petroleum laboratory quality control specialist while stationed at U.S. Naval Air Station North Island, Coronado Island, San Diego. I tested and certified the fuel for Air Force One for then president Ronald Reagan. I have done everything with jet fuel in the laboratory environment from freezing it, to frying it in a 3000 degree crucible, and then weighing the residue on an analytical beam balance. My military training was based on the ASTM (American Standard Test Methods) for petroleum products for JP-4-5-6. As well and all forms of Diesel and heavy lubrication products such as 5190 lube oils.

The official version doesn't make sense to me. The way the towers fell, the hole in the towers from the plane, how the Pentagon was looking like after the crash there. The hole in the ground that should be the crash down from the forth airplane, I have never seen an airplane hitting the ground like this. That they found the Passport from the high-checker in all that debris and dust. Everything was pulverized, burned, melted...but that passport was still readable. And so on and on.

I believe that the American government is behind a lot of things, including the war between Iraq and Iran, as your American government gave chemical weapons to Iraq, which also raises suspicion about whether the American government just let the terrorists hijack American planes and destroy the twin towers. There are a lot of obvious lies surrounding this subject such as the fact that one of the towers was said to have collapsed because the steel frame melted, but if it had melted, then people couldn't have survived in the plane hole. Yet there were people waiting for rescue. And they said no explosives were used, but many people close by heard them. And the coincidence that the same day that most of the fighter jets protecting the country were on a training day and there were only 9 fighter jets left to protect America.

There are too many holes in the story we have been told. There is too much evidence that shows this was a planned event from within our own country (possibly with some outside help too). The corners and interior columns of WTC 7 could not possibly have all failed at the same time, due to fire. Any collapse, improbable to begin with, would have been lopsided, not straight down, unless explosives of some sort were used.

I think A&E for Truth speaks for us all concerning the technical analysis of the demolition of the three WTC buildings. It would take weeks, maybe months to plant the explosives in the buildings. This explains the high level of security reported by employees during the weeks leading up to the attack
