PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

My wife and I were horrified as we watched the live news reports of that day, particularly when we saw the second plane hit Tower 2. Over the next few days I continued to watch video replays of Twin Towers 1 & 2 and could not comprehend how both towers could collapse as they did. As a Structural Engineer, it made no sense to me how the structural framing system below the impact level did not continue to support the structure. It was only in the last few weeks, as I researched and found this site, that I found out that building 7 had also collapsed. I agree that it has the classic signs of a controlled demolition. Thanks to all of you who created this site. I am proud to be part of the cause to get congress to conduct a full investigation.

I went on to design pipelines, facility stations and compressor units and then worked with hydraulic flow analysis software for gas and liquids. I have been working in the oil and gas industry for over seven years now.
One does not need to be an engineer to see the twin towers and building 7 could not fall at free-fall speed without extra energy. The media kept saying steel does not need to melt (2750F) in order to be weaken to fall. The max temp of jet fuel of ~1350F, (fire was black, so ~300-600F, most of the fuel burned outside). At ~1600F, steel holds 50% of it's strength. And, I have read that skyscrapers are designed 10 times stronger than physically required. So, impossible even if you grant the highest jet fuel temperature. It is evident to the most simple-minded person that studies it for any length of time that it was completed by the government. Rumsfield stated on 9/10 that they 'lost' track of $2.3 trillion dollars. And, the Pentagon was hit in the very department that held on the staff and computers for audits. Now come on.

Science was not suspended by those who destroyed the three World Trade Center buildings. There are hundreds of points that I investigated that reveal the official government version of what happened on and around 9/11 is, to put it simply, nonsense. However, one only needs to understand 2 of these points to be motivated to call for the first real government investigation - and not cover-up. 1. The three, steel framed high-rise buildings fell at or near free fall speed - which is impossible if they were brought down by fires. We should consider that never before or since 9/11 were any such buildings, anywhere in the world, brought down by fire. Supposedly, the first, second and third time this ever happened was on 9/11. 2. Nanothermite was found in the dust and debris (evidence of this has been published in peer reviewed scientific journals), and all three buildings show the clear signature of controlled demolitions that would result from the use of thermite eg. molten hot metal was reported to still exist in the basement 6 weeks after 9/11. I believe that the best way to bring all our troops home and prevent the planned invasions of Iran and Pakistan - to be also based to a large degree on the false-flag operation on 9/11 - is to get the overwhelming evidence to the public. I received my high school diploma and graduated from St.Patrick's high school. Shortly after I started an apprenticeship with Local 95 Heat and Frost Insulators and I am currently attending my 3rd and final 6weeks of trade school which will move me from the level of apprentice to journeyman.
I highly doubt the official story about the WTC buildings for a number of reasons. 1) The fact that the buildings fell at nearly free fall speed encountering no resistance on the way down. 2) The buildings were built to withstand multiple plane impacts and the buildings still fell. 3) Jet fuel does not burn hot enough to melt the structural steel and cause a sudden collapse. The jet fuel only has the capability of warping and bending the steel beams which in my opinion would not be enough to bring the buildings down SUDDENLY. 4) The concrete was completely pulverized suggesting the possibility of explosives being used. 5) Molten metal was seen by the first responders dripping down the steel beams like lava. Pools of molten metal were also found underneath the rubble of the towers. If a fire isn't hot enough to melt structural steel then what caused the molten metal?? Could it be some sort of an explosive? 6) Many interviews have been done with the first responders, and people who where there who said they heard explosions in the building before and during the WTC collapses. There is video evidence to prove this. Also a man named Willie Rodriguez who was a janitor in the basement levels of the towers heard explosions in the basement just a few seconds before the plane actually crashed into the building. You can find his videos online through Google or Youtube, just type in Willie Rodriguez. 7) Before 9/11 no steel framed structure has ever collapsed due to a fire. This would make the WTC buildings the 1st in history according the the commission report if it were true but I know it's not. And remember WTC building 7 was not hit by a plane and it still collapsed. 8) If the buildings collapsed by fire then why were steel beams thrown hundreds of feet away from the towers. In one case a steel beam was even lodged into a neighboring building. If it was a natural building collapse the beams would have fell straight down not across the street. The amount of force needed to throw a steel beam this far and lodge it into another building would have to great. My conclusion explosives were used. I'm not an architect. I'm not an engineer. I'm not a scientist or a physicist. I'm just an average JOE. Evidence of the truth is in plain sight and easy to understand if you are willing to open your mind. It doesn't take a great mind to see behind the lies of the commission report.

I then believed the official story, and forgot about this first impression. Five years later, a friend told me that the Towers had been blasted, but I was so sure of the official story, that it took him two weeks to convince me to watch Loose Change. Then I remembered my first thoughts, it was a second shock, as deep as the first. I did a lot of research on the net, read books on history and geopolitics to understand the context and precedents, participated in a forum of journalists to understand why they kept silent on the topic, wrote letters to journalists, without success. Prior to college I had been a glazier installing plate glass in high rise construction and store fronts. My college experience gave me an even broader understanding on design and structure of different building types and became well acquainted with the well established facts concerning the life long safety high rise structures present. My work in and on high rise construction, together with my college education, made it very easy to understand the story presented to the public does not support the facts related to high rise construction. The whole official story defies common sense, has many obvious loopholes and flaws which anyone with a little bit of skepticism can find right away as they research into this event which shook the entire world. It was also extremely insulting to me personally to find that the official explanation about the attack on Pentagon - Intense heat from Jet Fuel vaporized the entire plane. It is physically and scientifically impossible to 'vaporize' any critical component of an aircraft with jet fuel. There have numerous disastrous and more serious accidents in aviation history and none so far have ever vaporized an aircraft or it's components/structures. This is one of the most striking examples of the contrived farce aka the 9/11 official report which most definitely says that the report has been manipulated to keep from knowing the truth.

I was watching TV at the time when they interrupted the regular programs and I knew it was an attack, but I wasn't affraid of the building colapsing because I have an idea of how they were built, but when I saw the first Tower collapsed the way it did I knew it wasn't the plane causing the collapsing and the second did it the same way, sorry but you have to be really stupid to believe that this was caused by the 2 planes, and in the afternoon when they destroy the other building it was the confirmation of something else was going on. I hope we could get to the bottom of this but I don't believe the truth is going to be accepted by the Government, it will remain as another cover-up in the History of United States. None of my technical education or experience could be used on this petition, except my eyes.. which now SEE something I did not before. I am concerned for the families of all of the people who lost their lives in this terrible tragedy, and want to see justice done.
At the time, I was so disturbed by this event, I could not keep away from it. After a few years, I started to drift away from the constant thought of what happened. Then while looking for a movie one night, I saw a documentary listed on the 911 tragedy. I watched it, then I found another, then another, and another...I watched them all....I actually had never REALLY thought about it. I couldn't believe it, this was a cover-up! It is SO obvious. It reminded me of the implosion of some of the old hotels in Las Vegas. So perfect, so controlled.

I work with special fx dept. in the film industry and seem some crazy stuff! From what I've seen from the footage it looks as rigged as a film shoot.
Its obvious, just look!!! There were charges going off on lower floors before the building even collapsed. Fire doesn't go down it goes up. How could jet fuel flow 1000 feet down to the lobby? How about the janitor in the sub level 1 before a plane even hit the building he was hearing and feeling bombs going off, his co worker shows skin was peeling off his arms because of a blast in the basement.... A million questions and no answers?

If you see the scientific evidence, coupled with the (too many) irregularities that day, it is hard to believe the official story. It just does not add up. The Towers just can not fall in freefall speed, and a symmetrical collapse was the smoking gun. Together with the other evidence and excluding alternative explanations, one can only reach the conclusion that the official story is incorrect. I am completely unconvinced that the Towers fell for any reason other than pre-planted explosives, bringing about a controlled demolition. This position is based on my own appraisal of the evidence that exists currently in the public domain.

From what I see of the Towers collapsing, I don't believe airline jetliners caused them to collapse that way and I also have to wonder why this is not addressed

As I watched the first collapse, with my father on the phone, the first thing I said to him was, that would never happen, the buildings were designed for just such an incident. I agree that this looks like a controlled demolition, and that thermite might have been used. Even though I am not licensed as a professional engineer, I have enough knowledge and understanding about the physics behind the evidence to strongly question the official story.

I am simply an American looking for answers. I think like many others this is just another example, of the US government doing as they wish. As citizens I feel we have been lulled into contentment, or concern only with the things that effect us directly. The government needs to remember they are all civil servants and as such they answer to the American public.
In my opinion, a very obvious demolition. Now I have discovered there is chemical evidence of thermite in all of the debris. No evidence of a jetliner left at the Pentagon site and they refuse to release any of the footage from three cameras that where pointed right at it. Lets clear this up since there is nothing to hide.

Worked as a journeyman carpenter for 18 years and sheet metal cladder on high rise condominiums (6) in western Canada- including 3 buildings over 350 feet tall. Graduated high school Grade 13 w/honors.
As a builder, I can come to no other conclusion than the official investigation lacks credibility, incredibly so. My understanding of engineering allows me to grasp the science behind the collapse. The most recent news I became aware of is the 'put' options placed upon the two airlines shortly before Sept 11, just another example of fore knowledge.

I have been teaching in the field of education for about 10 years. I have been pro active when it comes to protecting our constitutional rights for freedom and truth. The design was a tube in a tube construction where the steel reinforced, cast concrete interior tube, was surrounded with a structural steel framework configured as another outside tube with the load bearing capacity bias towards the perimeter wall with the core acting to reduce deformation of the steel structure maximizing its load bearing capacity. All steel structures with the proportions of the WTC Towers have inherent problems with flex and torsion. Distribution of gravity loads was; perimeter walls 50%, interior core columns (interior wall of the outer tube of the tube in a tube construction) 30%, concrete core 20%.

It is curious that there are so many reports of blasts occurring at each site, and the sheer destruction present at ground zero and at the other plane crash sites. Given multiple accounts of engineers, physicists, and other science based distinguished professionals regarding the manner and circumstances surrounding in which the buildings fell and the free fall of the buildings, it is impossible for there not to be an explosion involved.
