On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

In the intervening years I worked at a variety of jobs, the most applicable being the 12 years when I did instrumentation & controls and then mechanical design engineering for a variety of industries. I have a typical plodding but thorough and mechanistic and engineering approach to any subject I approach.
I felt indignation when I first heard that people were questioning the official version of 9-11 events. It took several years for it to filter through to me that building 7 fell at free fall speeds 7+ hours after the towers. I've perused the NIST report dated 2008. I do understand the elaborate chain of events described therein and they sound very unlikely. I've heard some expert testimony questioning many of the premises and details NIST used to construct their report. I'm convinced the NIST report is unsatisfactory and that we owe it to the victims, their families and to ourselves to continue investigating. The bad guys are still out there. Their monumental arrogance and sociopathic mentality will continue to surface if we don't.

Former occupation was in aircraft accident investigation at a major airline located in the Pacific Northwest. Interviewed crew members, specifically pilots, involved in such incidences along with obtaining NTSB reports. Reported to MD-80, 727, and 737 flight instructors along with chief pilot. What I saw perplexed me as from my background, I determined that a 757 could not have possibly fit into a 16-foot hole and leave little to no debris field at that. Afterwards, I contacted a friend who works for a governmental agency (commercial building engineer) and asked him how it is possible that aviation fuel could burn hot enough to 'melt' the steel trusses and supposedly causing a 'pancake' collapse. Then I asked him how WTC 7 fell. He only answered that fires were hot enough in WTC 7 to cause its collapse. The last time I spoke to him was in 2001 and he will not return my phone calls. He defended the WTC 1 & 2 official 'pancake' explanation. I've since listened and printed out many theories as to why these buildings fell. Steven Jones suggestion about thermite or thermate is intriguing. Others have suggested a mini-nuke device was implanted at the base of the buildings. It is obvious WTC 7 was a controlled demolition. But I wanted to hear from the experts, such as those on this site. My biggest objective now is to find out why the evidence was removed before experts could examine it - especially the steel. Why did fires keep burning under the rubble for over a month? But most important is why the investigations are being obviously covered-up. This is why I appreciate your site and will gladly sign the petition.

I have a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Minnesota. I managed large gun programs for the military. I have experience in root cause analyses when the unanticipated occurs.
Here is my synopsis of the situation: 1. The 3 World Trade Center buildings that collapsed were designed to withstand commercial jet impact and the subsequent fire. Unless the design margins were compromised, they should not have collapsed. 2. If the design margins were compromised, and they were reason for the collapse, the buildings would still not have collapsed in the extremely controlled fashion that was observed. Thus, design margin does not appear to be the cause of the collapses. 3. In searching for a plausible cause, the evidence first pointed to explosives. Evidence of explosions was provided by the numerous people that reported hearing them, by the evidence of high velocity radial trajectories of debris, and by the degree to which the debris field was pulverized. 4. The evidence then pointed to demolition-class explosives. Evidence of demolition-class explosives was provided by people seeing molten steel in a fire that should have been at least 1000 F below steel's melting point, by the debris field being permeated by bb-sized steel-based spheres that shouldn't have been 'vaporized', by the presence of elements unique to a demolition-class explosive in the debris field, and by the fact that all 3 buildings 'free fell' to the ground as if their infrastructure had suddenly disappeared (as is typical of demolition). 5. The evidence finally pointed to the use of military-grade demolition-class explosives. 6. If the conclusions from this evidence prove true, and to date they have not been refuted, the group of people responsible for the destruction of the WTC buildings remain at large, and the threat that destroyed the WTC buildings remains. 7. Unfortunately, the official root cause report does not account for the use of explosives at all. 8. For the United States to hold its own in a rough world, the reality of the situation must be irrefutably determined, and appropriate corrective actions taken. The current official report may be right, incompetent, or a cover-up. If the current official report does not withstand challenge, and the demolition claim stands, corrective actions must be taken against the people responsible, as well as the people that authored the root cause report, either for incompetence or for a willful cover-up. To do otherwise is to encourage a repeat performance.

Ever since I first saw the failure, I felt something was wrong. The pancaking of the slabs as they fell struck me as the kind of failure one might see in a concrete structure building with the columns acting as shear punches at each respective failure. I was amazed when I was informed it was a steel building. Since then, I have learned of the mode of failure of WTC 7 and the temperature of burning jet fuel vs. resistance of steel to such temperatures. Something is just not right.

There is no way that this building collapsed without weeks/months of previous preparation. 9/11 was a 'false flag' event; there is no question in my mind.

The September 11th attacks are a difficult issue not because of the science, but the psychology. For years I dismissed the 9/11 truthers without taking the time to listen to their claims, let alone examine the evidence that they had diligently compiled. Even when I finally did look into the issue, I wanted so badly to maintain my world view that I spent weeks looking for something that disproved the claims of the 9/11 truth movement. After failing to find it, I became angry. Why hadn't my engineering professors told me? I realized that, just like me, they had naturally rejected ideas that went against their preconceptions. Now I am trying to become a part of one of the most ridiculed and hated groups in the United States: those who were open minded enough to listen, humble enough to investigate, and motivated enough to do something about it.

I have been studying 9/11 for quite some time and believe due to overwhelming scientific and eyewitness evidence of explosives being used in both the Twin Towers and Building 7. There is scientific and anecdotal evidence which overwhelmingly points to a cover up. The fact that Building 7 fell supposedly by fire alone and yet there was NO investigation despite the unusual nature of the event. Adding the Twin Towers collapse to that of Building 7 with no investigation into the safety of skyscrapers and their vulnerability to fire. (Going by the official story) is in itself negligible. The new building in the WTC complex has been built with similar so called vulnerabilities which makes no sense if the buildings fell on 9/11 by fire alone. (Including 'plane impact') If it happened how the official story said, building safety standards should have been investigated.

Even wood structures don't do this and if you drive around any slum neighborhood where there is a burnt out house this is evident.
