PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

In 1993, Brian Thompson joined the local combination volunteer fire department, working beside Seattle firefighters and trained at the Washington State Fire Academy. Seven years later, he earned his undergraduate degree in civil engineering from Marquette University, including a 12-month internship in fire protection engineering at a consultancy in downtown Chicago. For the next 2 years he continued to work as a volunteer firefighter. Thompson then attended Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) where he earned his Master's Degree in Fire Protection Engineering. While at WPI, he attended Professor Jonathan Barnett's building fire safety lecture on the first anniversary of 9-11, in which Barnett describing his involvement and experience as a FEMA investigator, and their findings. Thompson's coursework also included fire dynamics, risk management and forensic analysis. He holds professional licenses in both Fire Protection Engineering and Civil Engineering in multiple states, and came into the role of Principal in 2006 practicing fire protection engineering design and consulting.
The lack of the FEMA team's ability to conduct a proper investigation of the original collapse conditions, the explanation developed by the FEMA team, and the subsequent contradictory conclusion by NIST, raised questions. In an effort to answer these questions, I have researched various information and data compiled by others. My research has left these questions unresolved, and reinforced my doubt in the official story regarding the cause of collapse for both WTC towers and Building 7.

I served a two year mission for my church from 1978 to 1980. I went to Santa Monica City College and to UVSC in Orem Utah. I moved to Utah in 1990 and became involved in Republican Party leadership by becoming a State and County delegate. As a precinct chairman I was a member of the (Salt Lake) County Central Committee. I was later elected to the State Central Committee and the State Executive Committee in the year 2000.
During my service in the Republican Party leadership I had witnessed many actions that were unethical and conspiratorial. Being on the State Executive Committee in the year 2000 (one of two representatives for Salt Lake County) I was at odds with the current Governor Michael Leavitt and Senator Orrin Hatch both of whom were up for re-election that year. The main responsibility we had as a body was the planning and execution of our State Republican Convention where the governor the Senator and the Congressman were elected. Months before the State Convention no meetings were held with the body that was elected for that purpose to plan and execute this convention. The convention did go on as I was there to witness the event but it was without the input of the duly elected officers chosen for that purpose. Several anomolies occurred at this convention of which I will not note here. However I would like to reiterate the fact that this convention and the State Republican Party ran an illegal or at the very least unethical State Convention in the year 2000 that did not include the input or planning of the elected officials, including myself, who were elected to plan and oversee this convention. When the towers collapsed on 911, I was taken back by the way the structures fell. Until the birth of explosives for the demolition of buildings I had never seen a building collapse as I saw these buildings fail. As a young man growing up my father demolished homes and small structures (mostly constructed of wood). I remember seeing on television the collapse of a demolition by explosives. It was amazing how the buildings came down at once and falling in on top of themselves. This was far different than the demolition I had experienced with my father as we had to beat, crush, push and trample the structure to get it to fail. And when it failed it would fail one timber at a time and it would fall AWAY from the structure and not on top of itself unless we had the loader pushing it down in that manner. Even if the loader were pushing down on it the only part (of the structure) that would fail would be the part that the loader was pushing on. The other part of the structure would not fail. Each portion of the structure had to be crushed in order for it come straight down! In other words buildings never came down like the towers did until the advent of explosives placed in a specific fashion with great skill. Prior to that time you had wrecking balls or time consuming piece by piece dismanteling of buildings to bring them down. In conclusion: I am no expert. I have had no experience with steel columns. I have experience in only small scale buildings which were mostly large and small homes. I have had no experience in the demolition of buildings where fire was a factor. I only helped my father. However I did participated in the destruction and operation of the tractors to demolish these structures. Nevertheless as I saw the towers fall and continue to see the video of the towers falling I am certain that the falling of the towers could not be a failure of the structures alone. Explosives had to be a factor as this type of building failure was completely unheard of before the introduction of explosives for the demolition of buildings.

There are many news clips where police and fire personnel state that there were many explosions before the buildings collapsed. The owner of the WTC buildings states during an interview that he gave the order to pull WTC 7 hours after the planes hit the other two towers. It takes days of preparation to pull a building like WTC 7. BBC reported that WTC 7 collapsed before it was actually demolished. The official story is nonsense.

Experts explaining the so called collapse of the World Trade Center Buildings were explaining the reasons for the buildings falling immediately following their collapse at freefall speed. The holes alleged to have been from aircraft were not sufficient to bring buildings 1 & 2 down, and the black smoke fires did not appear to be hot enough or fires large enough to sufficiently soften structural steel, and as well, the surviving emergency workers in very many instances reported both only small pockets of fire that could easily be put out as well as flashes and explosions just prior and during the so called collapse. I personally doubt that there were any hijackers on board and of the airliners that were said to have been hijacked. During the Vietnam war it was my job to process and insure proper identity to all deceased that were processed by the US Army Mortuary, DaNang, Vietnam. We occasionally had to handle the deceased that were killed as a result of Aircraft, and at least once that of a large Airliner. The first evidence always needed was a manifest listing all on board. I was at that time assured that the FAA required that all flights had to have the names of all on board, passengers and crew, as a matter of procedure prior to takeoff. I am sure that that requirement is still in effect. Why were the passengers not identified on the flight manifests? It is a very basic and necessary requirement that would be rigidly enforced in a more modern time as today where there is an even more crowded sky than 1968-72.

Clearly the WTC buildings had help in falling that horrible day. Thank you for opening my eyes. I am still trying to figure out how agents unknown could have planted so many energetic devices at a sufficient number of steel structural joints to cause free-fall collapse. This must have taken many tons of devices planted over a period of months by a large team. Towers 1 and 2, I believe, used the entire steel exoskeleton as a major load-bearing structure; thermite-like emissions were indeed seen on video from some of these!!!

Observations of the video recordings taken on September 11th, 2001 show clear evidence of the controlled demolition of the World Trade Center towers 1, 2 and 7. I've questioned the official story for years, as I uphold scientific truth above all else. The fact that both towers fell at near free fall acceleration in the path of maximum resistance is the most compelling bit of evidence to me. Also the fact that no other steel structure in history has collapsed due to fire is alarming. Finally, WTC 7 is the elephant in the room; no plane hit it, yet it fell vertically in on itself, again suggesting controlled demolition. Let's follow the scientific method to the book.

I have had serious doubts about the destruction of the W.T. Building 7 is what got my attention. I thought that was an obvious building implosion. I started watching documentaries and reading articles on 9/11. I do not see how 9/11 could have happened without elements of the federal government being involved. And then the very suspect government explanations. I think Building 7 is the key to getting people to consider and rethink the evidence in the 9/11 building destructions.

The buildings were too similar in their collapse/destruction: very choreographed. The planes hit the buildings at amazing, unreal speeds. There needs to be a true independent investigation.

Any 2nd year structural or mechanical engineering student, given the construction materials used, can readily calculate the forces required to bring down a structure within its own foot print. In addition, having heard and seen footage of the architects and engineers who designed the buildings, one may readily conclude that the public was misinformed.

I have worked as a University administrator for 21 years. I have a BA and an MA. I worked part-time during college in an architect's office. I have also worked for NGOs and Foundations.
For even a lay person, it is clearly impossible that the buildings came down that quickly and were pulverized. This was clearly a controlled demolition that pancaked the building. We need to know who did this and how and why it was done. People who were involved in setting up the demolition need to come forward. Or, were they all pulverized in the demolition. We need to know the TRUTH, not the shoddy investigation of the 9/11 commission.

I am an avid researcher for the truth about 9/11 from an unbiased standpoint. If the scientific facts and mathematical laws of physics didn't add up, I wouldn't be wasting my time encouraging this point of view to be observed. If everyone just takes the time to look into the facts from a third person standpoint, you'll see the same thing as many others.
After looking at evidence that stands behind science and reason I can safely say that all 3 Towers came down in an imploding rain of steel and other debris. There's no other factual evidence out there that could prove otherwise other than the government trying to gain power of the citizens. What do they have to gain you might ask? Our freedoms.
