On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

I have to say something about myself so I am listing these things, not because I am highly successful or that I have accomplished much, but only as evidence that I am capable of thinking for myself and I have a degree of ability to sort fact from fiction without yielding to self imposed biases.
For Bldg 1 or 2 to fall, enough momentum must be gained in the time it takes for the upper portion to travel 1 or 2 stories in order to overcome the resistance of the lower portion of the intact building. Upon impact this force must be transmitted through the lower structure to the ground before any crushing can occur because the floor immediately beneath the point of impact is not suspended in mid air. Therefore, it is not a single floor that sustains the entire shock of the impact but the force must be distributed throughout the entire lower standing structure none of which had sustained any damage (allegedly). Since the bottom most floor is capable of holding up the weight of the entire building and since each floor is constructed in a similar fashion, one can reasonably assume that an upper floor would also be capable of withstanding a far greater static load than was required of it. Although the impact is dynamic I do not see how this excess momentum could be great enough to overcome the static weight bearing capacity of an entire collection of intact internal and external support structures and crush the entire building unless it was dropped from a far greater height. It cannot be argued that any of the lower supports could have sustained any substantial damage from heat or the initial impact of the planes. It is obvious that the greatest number of columns were not severed by the planes even at the impact site. If the remaining columns there were heated enough to bend under the strain it seems more likely that they would serve to reduce the momentum gained by the falling upper portion and that the remaining momentum would be further reduced as energy was transmitted to the ground and consumed in breaking the entire set of undamaged supports all the way to the ground. This transfer of kinetic energy would act on the entire lower undamaged portion of the building and would not act to crush one floor at a time as was observed. One floor could not be directly acted upon without indirectly affecting those below it. In effect it is not only the floor at the point of impact which is absorbing the shock, but the entire combined resilience of the entire lower structure would resist the impact at once, not just the columns of a single floor at a time. The additional momentum gained by the falling portion of the upper floors would have dissipated well before total destruction could have occurred even with the simultaneous collapse of all inner and outer supporting columns at the point of impact. One is forced to conclude that something was knocking the props out from under the upper part of the building as it fell. As Dr Ross pointed out, the indentations and directions of sheared bolts at the ends of the support columns where they connected to lower ones appeared as one might expect if charges had been used to thrust them out away from each other as the building fell. Pieces of columns appear in the films being thrust outward and away from the building where they are not obscured from vision by smoke. This corroborates his interpretation of the indentations and shearing. The NIST explanation depends on both the severing of columns, massive displacement of fire protection, temperatures hot enough to weaken the remaining structures to the point of simultaneous collapse and the successive destruction of each floor below the crash site. None of these factors can be omitted without leaving a severe deficiency in their theory. Not only that, we are expected to believe that this concurrent set of circumstances happened not only once, but three times on the same day. That's a bit much to accept without some other mitigating contribution.

The technical evidence presented since then certainly warrants a full and honest investigation. The freefall collapses of WTC 1, 2, and 7 must be impossible if only due to the entry of the planes, and in the case of 7, the absence of any impact at all. There is clear knowledge of the extremely robust structure in all 3 of them, and a pre-meditated scheme of internal explosions must have played a part. Further to that, the immediate vaporization of the structural cores must have involved some staggering level of explosives technology. The motives therefore seem heinous. In London last year, I witnessed the Grenfell Tower fire. It burnt visibly for at least 3 days with intense heat. 24 stories high, a year later it is still standing, with no deformation whatever.

The rate at which Building 7 collapsed seems to indicate, beyond any shadow of a doubt, that this was a controlled demolition. IF Building 7 was indeed a CD, given the exceptional set of circumstances, Buildings 1 and 2 were also controlled demolitions. The unanswered question remains, controlled? By Whom? It took me 12 years to reach this conclusion.

The opinions of the experts, and survivors of the 9/11 tragedy, as presented at AE911truth.org and their documentaries, are so compelling that not calling for a new, independent investigation into the building collapses seems morally indefensible to me.

I have done courses on metals and engineering, for 17 years now and have worked with metals. As part of my jobs I had to preheat metals so they could be welded. Why is this significant? We often worked on bridges or structures bearing enormous weight. We cut and replaced structural parts and main suppport beams. Never did I see any steel beam heated to the exreme (visbly glowing with heat) ever fail. And what is more, these beams were not compromised by the process and were safe for use in the project.
It is my opinion, based on science, that these buildings were in fact imploded. These buildings were made to withstand an aircraft impact as are buildings today. To say these buildings fell from aircraft impact is like saying that all the worlds engineers and architects are wrong, and that all the current safety standards are null and void. Why hasn't this come up? Are we not concerned with the safety of buildings still being made? The government would be reviewing their safety standards now would they not? Building 7 was not even hit by a plane! So, do we now have to review all the fire safety for buildings? No, steel buildings do not fall as a result of fire

I have been in the fire protection industry since 1976. Sprinkler Fitter, Foreman, Construction superintendent, RME level II, inspector specialty fire pumps, special hazards, such as flammable liquids, and anything deemed as an extreme fire hazard, or explosion risk. Spent 6 years in the Texas air national guard as a munitions specialist, I know explosives.
I need an answer to many questions. Knowing the nature of jet fuel, I know there is no way that it can produce enough heat to compromise the steel the way the reports claim. Most of the fuel was expended in the fireball in the initial impact. The way the Towers fell clearly is a controlled demolition. All the members (columns) would have to had to have all failed at the same time to fall the way they did. The fires did not burn long enough, or hot enough to cause the Towers to collapse. The explanation of the collapse of Building 7 is totally unacceptable, the building clearly buckled in the middle before the collapse, yet no plane hit Building 7. Small fires, yet a total collapse at or near free fall speed. The impact at the Pentagon raises even more questions. The damage looks more like that of a missile than that of a large airliner. Whatever hit the Pentagon penetrated deeper into the building than an airliner could have, in my opinion. There is not enough wreckage present at the scene as there should be for a plane crash. Same thing for Flight 93 that supposedly crashed in Pennsylvania. I have no answers for the events that happened on that day 09/11 2001. The explanations do not match the facts or evidence.

17 yrs in the Electrical trade with some military experience. I have seen the techniques of construction in my years in the trade so I know a little about how buildings are built (and potentially how they would fall).
To me, the poofs of dust shooting out during collapse below destruction level is evidence to me that official story is not true.

The evidence gathered over the last 17 years proves beyond any doubt that explosives were used to demolish all three WTC buildings. The only thing left to do, is to push hard for a fully independent official investigation.
