To the Members of the House of Representatives and of the Senate of the United States of America,
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

Didn't seem right from the get-go. Spoke to an electrical engineer during an inspection on the morning of 11 Sep 2001. He had not yet heard that the two towers had collapsed, and couldn't believe, from the simple facts we knew at the time, that aircraft impacts could precipitate a collapse of the World Trade Towers. Soon the President announced names of the highjackers who had crashed the planes, and propagated the story of Al Qaeda as the terrorism perpetrators. Right, and a highjacker left a passport that survived the pulverization of the Towers! Too many plain tall tales and improbable explanations surround the circumstances of that day. Now we can begin to understand that, as Barry Zwicker's Towers of Deception book sketches out, the traumatic shock of the spectacular experience makes the mind need explanation, and the initial propaganda catapulted by Bush and the media that most people did accept as explanation even if tentatively, causes pain when contradicted by countering evidence. Statements of the A/E professionals here provide ample brief summary of that evidence.

I have serious doubts about the cause of collapse of WTC 1 and WTC 2, as well as WTC 7. The indications are that they came down in a controlled-collapse manner, and this casts a dark shadow over the official published story. I have worked on projects involving controlled demolitions of decommissioned air traffic control towers. My opinion is that the twin towers and building 7 were brought down by controlled demolition, contrary to the official story.

I was at the WTC in 2004 during cleanup operations. I was given access to the bottom level of the site and was present when debris from a huge pile was being sifted for remains. I took two large chunks of concrete (one had burn marks on it) and donated it to the Mississippi State University (MSU) library. When I returned to Mississippi, I related my visit to the WTC site to my students in a course I taught entitled Forensic Engineering at MSU.

After watching numerous clips about what caused the collapse of the WTC buildings, I am convinced that those buildings did not come down as a result of two aircraft crashing into them. What I would like to know is who was involved in making this horrific event happen. I would also like to know what actually hit the Pentagon - why only a 65 foot gap when the wing span of a commercial airline exceeds one hundred feet and why was there no wreckage of the commercial aircraft that crashed in Pennsylvania? Only a hole in the ground and small aircraft fragments.

I just know that planes that are so fragile that hail can damage them severely, would not be able to knock the steel girders down. I watched the collapse on TV when it happened and I knew that there was no way this could happen. I don't believe I was just in denial of such a terrible tragedy. A large part of my over 40year career as a nurse has been working with hospice patients and their families. They have taught me many lessons about the dying process, grief and loss. My heart still aches for the families, friends and the world who lost those close to them in this unspeakable disaster. But speak people must in calling for an honest, comprehensive investigation to address the many questions left unanswered.
If this country has any semblance of a Republic still left where the citizens have a voice that will be not only heard but listened to, the AE911Truth Petition is speaking on behalf of those voices that were silenced forever. This Petition is enacted for their loved ones as well as the citizens of the world that deserve and have the right to know exactly what TRULY went down when those towers and Building 7 were demolished. The official report has left another hole in the hearts of families and friends that will only begin to heal with truthful information, uncensored and allowing the real experts to speak the whole truth and nothing but the truth.

I think it was an ''inside job''. The carnage and destruction was more than planes could have done, especially since the buildings were designed to take a plane impact. Building 7 wasn't even hit by an airplane but appears to be a controlled demolition.

The whole 9/11 story and its aftermath seem to have been engineered to remove freedom to Americans. The explanation about the airplanes being responsible for the collapse of the towers does not make sense, neither is the explanation about the Pentagon or building 7.

The absolute Truth is owed to the families of the Firefighters and Paramedics that died on 9/11. They went into those buildings to help people who could not help themselves and were met with a scenario they never trained for. Something happened that can only be put in an Other category. I felt something was wrong with the official statement from the beginning. That a fire was the cause of the collapse was not the truth. I know that central core building steel is fireproofed. That even if fireproofing was not there that it would take more then jet fuel and office supplies to damage the core of a modern high rise.
