PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

When I saw the Pentagon Conspiracy movie on the Internet, and Loose Change 2nd Edition in 2004 I suddenly knew the truth and have attempted to spread the word as effectively as I can--I give a lot of DVDs to my students to watch at home. Our active 9/11 group has hosted Robert Bowman, David Ray Griffin, Cindy Sheehan, and in Sept., Kevin Ryan as speakers to enlighten and inform the local population. I have had an AE 911 Truth bumper sticker on my car for over a year. I just finished Hal Sisson's Modus Operandi, and though it is fiction, it sure offers a lot of plausible explanations for how 9/11 happened. I listened to Paul Zarembka recently on Guns and Butter, and wow, he has a lot to say as well. A lot of good information out there, people need to get it. Donating to NYC CAN to help their effort--how I wish the mainstream media would pay attention to that drama instead of the stupid crap they focus on! Thank you Richard Gage and all others with the courage to speak out for us.

I'm just a small town architect involved primarily in the design of wood frame residential structures with nearly fifty years of experience in architecture, thirty-two as a registered architect with the last twenty-eight in a private practice I share with my partner. Because of my years of experience I was granted permission to take the professional exam on the condition I passed all of the required pre-qualifying exams, of which there were five if I recall correctly. I did so in 1980 and passed the architectural licensing exam in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts in 1981. I have no experience with high rise structures but I do believe that logic trumps the nonsense written between the front and back covers of The 9/11 Commission Report. In my view the report is more fiction than fact.
The manner in which the towers fell could only have been through controlled demolition. I've witnessed enough of them through videos and even in person to know this. Initially I presumed the attack, blamed on radical Muslims, was blowback for the horrific foreign policy of the US government. My belief that the attack was blowback has not diminished in the light of new evidence which suggests factions in the US government had prior knowledge of the attacks and not only did nothing to prevent them but complemented them to stage the catastrophe that would ensure the nation's sympathy for a Middle east confrontation. I stand by my belief today that the correct response to this criminal act would have been to find and prosecute the culprits, foreign and domestic, responsible for those acts of terrorism. The actual path chosen only reinforces my belief that the US government played a significant role.

I have a Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of British Columbia, Canada and eleven years of professional experience. Currently I am a senior engineer for a Danish company that makes wind turbine blades. I am part of the Composite Mechanics group that is responsible for determining and documenting the mechanical properties of the materials and substructures that are used in the blades. I am also currently attending a masters level fracture mechanics course at DTU (Danish Technical University) in order to become more specialized within my field. Previously I have worked in Vancouver, Canada with hydrogen fuels and their cooling and exhaust gas dilution systems and in Melbourne, Australia as an engineer designing industrial wheels and castors.
From my understanding of solid mechanics, I don't see how a steel constructed skyscraper can collapse under it's own weight at near free fall speed within it's own footprint. Steel is a ductile material and a space frame construction that is overloaded in compression will bend, buckle and twist, but will remain essentially as one structure. In my opinion, the failure mode observed for the twin towers can only be explained by a series of controlled explosions.

I have twenty years of experience and a solid working knowledge of construction processes and of the materials utilized in most every aspect of construction. My field experience is extensive; it ranges across every aspect of transportation projects such as airports, rail lines, ferry terminals and transit centers, underground utilities and both sanitary and storm water conveyance systems to hazardous waste containment structures, earthen dams and dikes, and concrete dams. And I have extensive experience inspecting and testing all manner of construction related materials.
From the moment I saw the towers collapse on September 11th 2001 I knew something was amiss. Firstly, since there is no horizontal component to gravity, I felt that some unseen force was responsible for driving large sections of the external box columns horizontally outward to land well beyond the expected limits of debris pile spawned by gravity driven collapse. My second observation was the pulverization of the lightweight concrete. Because it takes hundreds of thousands of pounds of pressure per square inch to shatter 6-inch x 12-inch concrete tests cylinders but never is more than a tiny percentage of the concrete (less than 1%) pulverized. I recognized there was most certainly a great deal of available energy within those collapses to crush the concrete, I did not note a slowing in the collapse as the gravitational kinetic energy was sapped away from the falling section. The observation from the morning was that while fire was visible in sections of the towers it was noticeably absent elsewhere. Speaking specifically of the north tower now, I found it incredibly odd that all of the external columns and (apparently) all of the core columns failed simultaneously on the same floor. This seemed odd because the steel frame should have provided multiple alternative load paths so portions of the building should have held fast while other sagged. A simultaneous global collapse could never have occurred due to unilateral damage from the impact, or from uneven heating of the columns. Call my observations that day hunches or whatever. From the minute I saw the collapses I have doubted the official story. From the efforts and offering of A&E for 9/11 Truth I have learned that my hunches were spot-on; I have learned much beyond those hunches as well through the work of your steering committee and from all the experts who have added to your work. And I thank all of you for your efforts and your time. One last thing. In 2007 I learned that a woman I loved dearly was killed in the North Tower that September 2001 morning as she sat at her desk in the offices of Marsh USA. My understanding is that her desk was at ground zero of Ground Zero, meaning she died instantly. I hope and pray this is the case. Denise Crant, may God hold your soul close to his heart. Minimum time to fall for towers, about 20 seconds, without credit for ANY structural strength in building. When considering the structural strength of the building, the collapse self arrests after 6 - 8 floors.

I have a B.S. in Civil Engineering, a B.S. in Engineering Physics. My emphasis has been on the seismic retrofit of existing structures for masonry, concrete, and steel buildings.
Buildings with localized damage to vertical structural elements (columns) cannot collapse globally and in a uniform fashion. This is a physical impossibility never once observed prior to 9/11/2001. Steel is a ductile material (it flexes, deforms, stretches, large amounts before fracture). In the case of all three WTC towers, ductile behavior is not observed. We see no large deformations of the columns prior to collapse. Instead, we observe sudden, catastrophic failure. No energy is dissipated through deformation. A free-fall collapse. Impossible in a structure where columns are not hinged (i.e. severed at the floors).

The collapses of all buildings appear to be controlled demolitions, particularly building 7, which was not impacted by a plane, did not catch fire, and was not otherwise compromised by heat damage. It was merely hit by falling debris, yet it collapsed, pancaking one level upon another. In comparison to other buildings which have toppled due to outside factors, one simply does not see the pancaking seen in the demolition of the WTC buildings. The official story is bunk!

It is an absolute scientific certainty that the Twin Towers and WTC7 were destroyed by energetic material (i.e. explosives) in a controlled demolition: all three buildings came down at nearly free fall acceleration, meaning that the gravitational potential energy from the weight of the buildings was entirely converted in kinetic energy. So the energy that pulverised all the concrete and cut all the steel beams and columns in mid-air necessarily had to come from something else. Only explosives can release that much energy in such a short time. Furthermore, the unnatural symmetry of the collapses requires a very accurate timing => it was a controlled demolition.

I have a B.S. and M.S. in biomedical engineering, and have worked for years in the biotech industry with nano/micro scale materials. I am reasonably familiar with various characterization techniques used in imaging (SEM, TEM, AFM) and chemical/solid state analysis (DSC, XEDS, etc.).
The video evidence suggesting controlled demolition is very persuasive. Further, I am a biomedical engineer with familiarity with the characterization techniques used in documenting the existence of nanothermite. Although the video analysis is persuasive, I think more independent studies of the tangible forensic evidence would be very helpful to the cause.

I chose to graduate in electrical engineering. I loved statics and dynamics and have learned to love chemistry as well. I learn science as a passion. After playing poker for a living over 7 years now, another passion of mine is learning about people; how they develop to be who they are, and how we interact with each other.
As a professional poker (think casino, not clicking a mouse) player, I know how to read people well. I think it's safe to say that most of the people in the Bush White house, as well as the leaders of NIST and the 9/11 Commision Report, are lying to us about what they know, or chose to not look into. I have seen lists of 15 items long of evidences of explosive, controlled demolition. For those guys to say they say NO evidence, and didn't even consider it an option, they are obviously lying. Clearly, the building steel and contents were pulverized/shattered by a powerful shock-wave which resulted form a detonation designed for such. This happens naturally in volcanic explosions, where granite is also pulverized into ash. The connection is very clear. Somebody developed the technology to harness this effect. Must be very classified.

If a collapse is properly and independently investigated, I have never witnessed such disagreement afterwards. That only happens if desires of a certain outcome influence the report. This collapse is just to important not to have it independently analyzed, and I am confident that if that happens almost every engineer will be convinced by its findings, contrary of what is happening now.

I worked in the mechanical engineering field for over 20 years. I have been flying small private aircraft and experimenters for 5 years. My father was a career Air Force pilot, and I spent 3 years as an Operation Specialist in the USN.
I don't believe the official 911 story, especially building 7 collapsing in free fall, the lack of debris around the Pentagon, and such an inexperienced pilot being able to fly into it. These alone scream for further investigation.

I believe that the buildings were set up for collapse by other means. The building 7 collapse is just the fatal piece of evidence that could have being found in US soil to prove it. The way the buildings collapses is a perfect scenario of demolition procedures that can be seen perfectly clearly with no structural education required. I mean that with simple logic you can state that it is impossible for a structure to fall the way it did without other means. Investigation of these acts has taken too long and fallen on deaf ears ... it is time for the people to stand and demand it...

I have designed many large structural projects over a 40 year span including such projects as a one million square foot industrial plant, largest oil and gas drilling rig capable of drilling to 25,000 feet below surface, and the largest freestanding steel cross standing 19 stories and weighing 2.5 million pounds (to name a few).
Engineering is the only exact science in the world -- we know how to erect structures and how to demolish them also. We do not practice engineering as the law and medical professions do. Without a DOUBT, these structures failed from a deliberate controlled demolition effort. There is not a tall slender structure anywhere that would fail in a symmetrical footprint mode like the 3 towers did unless it was designed to do so. Jet fuel combustion temperature would not even get close to the temps required to bring down the core columns of those structures (ASTM E-119 steel).

In December 2005 I received a B.S. Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Missouri - Columbia. Since then, I have worked in the construction industry designing electrical systems and managing the installation of electrical systems.
The question is all about investigation techniques: Look at the facts of the WTC, specifically Tower 7, collapses: 1) Terrorists used explosives on WTC 1 in 1993. 2) Over 118 first responders reported hearing explosions before all 3 collapses, many said it sounded like the 'bang-bang-bang' you hear during a demolition. 3) We have video, photographic and audio evidence of explosions after the impact and before collapse. 4) Live news was reporting multiple explosions, and the possibility terrorists also planted explosives. 5) Barry Jennings, the Emergency Coordinator for the NY Housing Authority reported explosions in Tower 7. He also reported being knocked down by explosions prior to the collapse of the tower. 6) Molten steel AND concrete were found at Ground Zero 'remember, hydrocarbon fires do not burn hot enough to melt steel or concrete.'N.F.P.A. 921- 19.2.4 Exotic Accelerants states that molten steel and concrete could indicate the use of exotic accelerrants, specifically Thermite. 7) WTC 7 was the first concrete and steel high rise to collapse during a fire that had not been struck by an aircraft. It was determined not to be significantly damaged by the falling debris, and diesel fuel tanks DID NOT contribute significantly to the fire (according to NIST final report 2008). So, with all these indicators, would you test for exotic accelerants/explosive residue/Thermite? How could you confirm or rule out the possibility that terrorists planted explosives in addition to the aircraft hits? Why does N.I.S.T. REFUSE to this day to test for exotic accelerrants in the most heinous crime in U.S. history? With the first high rise building collapses in history, why would N.I.S.T. NOT test for accelerants? Especially, with so many indicators, one in which we have lost so many lives, so many Brothers, so many Freedoms, and our Economy. I have not found a single fire investigator who can give a reason other than they didn't want to find exotic accelerants or they were incompetent! Well, if it was incompetence, we can go back and still test. If you can't answer why, then please take the time to investigate. Browse our website, and please sign the petition. If WTC7 were to have fallen due to a fire you would see each column collapse, setting up a chain reaction that would pull the others down with it. Instead what we see is a simultaneous collapse of the entire structure at free fall speed.

Besides the hundreds of items of evidence converging inescapably on controlled demolition of all three collapsed WTC towers, the most obvious and indisputable items are 1. the total free fall and near free fall speed of descent of the three buildings - a physical impossibility even under the official NIST scenario, 2. the kinetic force pulverizing all of the concrete in the buildings and ejecting steel girders hundreds of feet UPWARD AND LATERALLY SO AS TO IMPALE ADJACENT BUILDINGS is totally inconsistent with gravitational collapse, but indicative of controlled demolition, and 3. the mass of evidence indicating the acoustic (explosions), kinetic, and thermal action of explosives by numerous recorded eyewitness testimonies at the scene on 9/11, coupled with at least three major independent studies disclosing residues of both unexploded and exploded thermite of an advanced particularly explosive formula available only to the government (military) apparently, in the dust covering the entire city of New York, besides the obvious raging thermite fires of thousands of degrees seen pouring molten iron from the sides of the WTC towers before collapse, and for many weeks following the collapse - totally inconsistent with the official NIST report, now repudiated by its Chief Counsel, John Farmer in his published book.

I am a retired Engineer. I have a BS and MS in Civil Engineering and a PhD in Engineering Mechanics. I have worked as a structural analyst in the offshore oil industry and as a viscoelastic materials expert working on the redesign of the Solid Rocket Boosters following the Challenger disaster. I have also been on the engineering faculties of the University of Illinois (1967-1970) and Mississippi State University (1970-1980).
It is utterly impossible for a modern, properly designed high-rise building to collapse due to localized fires of only a few hours duration. Steel buildings are required to have fireproofing material on all structural members which is designed to prevent the steel from experiencing severely high temperatures for many hours. I believe that a thorough finite-element analysis of all of the WTC buildings (pretty expensive analysis which I do not have the money or computer facilities to undertake) would demonstrate that no reasonable scenario would cause WTC7 to collapse symmetrically except the simultaneous failure of all columns as in a controlled demolition.

I became familiar with steel structures as a draftsman for Kerr McGee designing offshore drilling rigs from 1979-82. After spending 3.5 years to earn a BS mechanical engineering degree at the University of Oklahoma in 1985, the oil industry was in a deep recession. The next couple of years were spent developing and designing robots and industrial manipulator arms. 1988-90 were interesting years at Rockwell Rocketdyne developing rocket engine systems for Star Wars. Since 1990 the technical challenge of electrical submersible pumping systems for the oil industry has been my profession. Currently as Principal Engineer at Baker Hughes International I mentor young engineers and serve as a technical adviser for a wide range of system and mechanical challenges for the BHI Centrilift products.
The case made in these documentaries is virtually 100% against the official record and points to some very disturbing likely possibilities. A proper investigation is needed before some very dark elements in our government are able to deliver us all the way down the road to serfdom.

From the day it happened, the WTC Building 7 collapse looked suspicious. Seeing the collapse for the first time seemed surreal and caused me to wonder how this building could possibly collapse and come straight down. There didn't seem to be sufficient damage to WTC Building 7 for it to collapse especially when considering that the entire building came down virtually within its own foot print. Therefore, if this was a planned demolition, then there is suspicion cast on the events of 9/11.

The pictures of the WTC buildings falling straight down at almost free-fall speed make it hard for me to believe two airplanes were the sole cause of failure. This is especially true of Building 7.

There is no way that building 7 could have collapsed due the the light fire damage it sustained from the other buildings, the eye witness testimony also points to this fact. All building collapses defy the laws of physics - energy is needed to pulverize the concrete, thus if explosives were not used then you would expect to see the buildings as they fell. The buildings also collapsed through the path of greatest resistance.
