PLEASE TAKE NOTICE THAT:
On Behalf of the People of the United States of America, the undersigned Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth and affiliates hereby petition for, and demand, a truly independent investigation with subpoena power in order to uncover the full truth surrounding the events of 9/11/01 – specifically the collapses of the World Trade Center Towers and Building 7. We believe there is sufficient doubt about the official story and therefore the 9/11 investigation must be re-opened and must include a full inquiry into the possible use of explosives that might have been the actual cause of the destruction of the World Trade Center Twin Towers and Building 7.

I am familiar with explosions and their debris fields, being involved with 2 Titan Missile explosions. From the evidence available regarding the 9/11 twin towers, it is my expert opinion that a fully funded investigation of all the evidence should be opened. There was a total destruction of 3 buildings in an explosive manner, as seen in the videos. We need to determine possible causes other than just the impact of 2 aircraft flying into the buildings. I also believe that a chemical reaction was required to melt steel, and note that traces of explosive chemicals have been found in the debris field.

The destruction of the WTC seems suspect to me as the towers collapsed into their own footprint vs an asymmetric fall as you'd expect with failure due to fire. The September 11th attacks are a difficult issue not because of the science, but the psychology. For years I dismissed the 9/11 truthers without taking the time to listen to their claims, let alone examine the evidence that they had diligently compiled. Even when I finally did look into the issue, I wanted so badly to maintain my world view that I spent weeks looking for something that disproved the claims of the 9/11 truth movement. After failing to find it, I became angry. Why hadn't my engineering professors told me? I realized that, just like me, they had naturally rejected ideas that went against their preconceptions. Now I am trying to become a part of one of the most ridiculed and hated groups in the United States: those who were open minded enough to listen, humble enough to investigate, and motivated enough to do something about it.

Strictly through the viewing of the fall of the towers and my familiarity with the principles of physics, I find it impossible to believe that the buildings collapsed in the fashion that they did due to the collision of the airliners alone. In addition, too many coincidences and discrepancies in the preparedness of our air force and government point to the fact that either this was planned and known, or our leaders are so grossly incompetent that they are not even qualified to tie their own shoes.

A brainy, nerdy child, I was politically right-wing in high school in Virginia, but gradually shifted to the left during and after my engineering training in North Carolina, until after moving to Berkeley, California in 1998. Since around 2000 my interests have shifted away from politics and toward spirituality and permaculture. My view is that we should know the truth but build a sustainable future rather than trying to fight evil.
The WTC was obviously destroyed by controlled demolition; no possible combination of plane crashes or fires could have caused that damage. Those who believe, They wouldn't have done it or They couldn't have gotten away with it may still be psychologically unable to accept that our country is possibly governed by a band of ruthless criminals. Minds open gradually. Once a person's mind begins to open to this reality, they (at least currently) have easy access to the available evidence.

I studied and earned a B.S. in Engineering at the University of Massachusetts at Lowell with a major in Mechanical Engineering. After graduating, I took continuing education courses in computer science. My current profession is now digital forensic analyst. In this role I investigate all manner of incidents on computers. I look for facts to either substantiate or disqualify claims of activity that allegedly occurred on a computer system.
I knew almost immediately that the buildings did not, could not, fall as a result of airplane impact and fuel burning. The thing that stood out for me is that there was no precedent of a building completely collapsing as a result of fire. Even if the jet fuel could have weakened the steel beams, the towers would not have fallen straight down into their own footprints. The footage of the buildings collapsing looked too much like controlled demolition.

The planes that hit the twin towers damaged the facades, set fires. No apparent damage to structure. Fire spread entirely across building, two floors. Apparently tank on roof to supply sprinkler system had been drained. Explosion photographed, many floors below where planes hit, brought towers down. Molten steel found under all three buildings. It is utterly impossible to melt steel with a petroleum or wood fire. It is obvious that the buildings were brought down by materials put in place before the planes hit.

The kinematics of the collapse of WTC Buildings 1, 2, and 7 were indicative of a controlled demolition.Evidence includes the presence of nano thermite and molten steel in the basement of WTC 1 and 2, and the obvious controlled demolition of WTC 7 which had not been hit by an airplane. If WTC 7 was obviously brought down by demolition, then we can conclude with a rather high probability that WTC 1 and 2 were also brought down by demolition. The obvious question is who is responsible for the suppression of an enlightened investigation of this disaster. This is a very important question since if we knew the who and why is responsible for the suppression of information, then we might be able to better determine the individuals responsible for this attack.

A building does not come down within its own foot print except by controlled explosive materials properly placed on the building structure. In my opinion, the fires should have been controlled on the top floors that were impacted. The building came down within its own foot print which points to demolition explosives. Building 7 was not impacted by a place but was reduced to rubble from what I understand. Where were the CIA and FBI? If known by these organizations, why was there an apparent absence of security! Are there available or obtainable records from these organizations? Surely, some information was obtained prior to this whole incident! A plane crashed into the Pentagon, but did not destroy the whole building -- is it because of the extensive security maintained in and around the building? I am aware of Pentagon security because I took some classes in the Pentagon. In my opinion, in the absence of any explosives, many people should have survived.

The evidence as presentd by AE911Truth proves beyond a shadow of a doubt that World Trade buildings were felled by explosives. (Unless this evidence is a compete fabrication, which no one, to my knowlege, asserts.) Evidence refuting the official explanation of the Pentagon attack and the crash of the fourth plane, as laid out by David Ray Griffin, is also credible and convincing. The implications of this evidence are that of a monstrous evil,and we are at a crossroads - either compel the disclosure of the truth, or succumb to this evil.

Not only are the twin tower collapses in question, but the plane crash into the Pentagon needs further review. It seems unrealistic that more debris was not found on the site. Same goes for the PA plane crash in the middle of a field. Further investigation is needed in all 4 plane crashes. It smells like a cover up.

After earning an engineering degree following a curriculum that was primarily a hybrid of mechanical/industrial/manufacturing engineering, I worked awhile for a multi-national heavy industrial construction firm. After that, I moved into the software industry, and have worked as a developer/software engineer ever since.
The piece of evidence that I find most compelling is the sudden initial free-fall descent of building 7. This alone demonstrates conclusively that something other than a fire-induced collapse occurred. Some other inconsistencies I find very telling are the molten metal seen pouring out of the south tower just prior to collapse, the sudden and symmetrical nature of all three collapses, the lack of equal and opposite destruction in the towers, the missing jolt principle, the lack of erect core columns in the debris piles, the lack of any historical precedent, etc.

I worked for the Mine Safety and Health Administration (MSHA) for over seventeen years, and retired 2/21/2008.
On September 11, 2001, I was working in Denver, Colorado. When I arrived at the office on the 4th floor, there was much agitation about a plane that had hit one of the twin Towers. Several in our work group went to an office on the 1st floor that had a TV and stood and watched as the 2nd plane flew into the other tower. As we stood and watched it hit, I was saying Don't fall, don't fall. I was struck with disbelief when it collapsed. Recently I have seen videos of the collapse of Building 7. It seems quite obvious that explosives were used. And, if this is true, it is most likely true that explosives brought down the twin towers.

I currently work as a Mechanical Engineer for the Nuclear Regulatory Commission in the Division of Component Integrity. I also served in the US Army, am a former Scout Master with the Boy Scouts of America, and served as a math mentor with the Higher Achievement Program in Washington, DC.
After studying the 9/11 Commission Report, the NIST reports, and comparing them to publicly available evidence and records (i.e., first-hand testimony from first-responders, independent video footage from multiple sources, and peer-reviewed reports from reputable scientists on forensic evidence not discussed in the official reports, etc.), I have come to the conclusion that the official reports are inaccurate and incomplete. The cause of the collapse of the WTC buildings, including WTC-7, as evidenced by video footage, is incompatible with the conclusions stated in the official reports. The conclusions of the official reports, when compared to the available body of evidence, contradict Newton's laws of motion. Given the overwhelming public interest in a new independent investigation, and given all the evidence not considered in the official reports (testimonial and forensic), and considering the impact of 9/11 on our daily lives and on our national and foreign policy, it is imperative that a new independent investigation be conducted and that the root cause of the collapse of the WTC buildings be established. In order to preserve the public trust, the new investigation must be peer-reviewed by an independent panel of scientists and engineers and the new commission must have the authority to subpoena anyone deemed necessary to properly conduct its investigation.

The Perfect vertical symmetry (No toppling) of the collapse seems to be highly improbable, as well as the thoroughness of destruction of the major elements of the bearing wall outer steel structure. It all seems to indicate a possible Engineered Demolition.
